Great video as always. I’m flying into DFW next month from Ireland and have a sports rental booked with Alamo. As the Challengers are being phased out and a Mustang convertible isn’t ideal in the Texas heat, does anyone know of other cars they might have in that range ? I know it's usually Camaros and hard top mustangs elsewhere but I haven’t heard of them being available at DFW ?
Always very interesting video's!! Any(one) an idea what I can expect in PC at Hertz Albuquerque? How does this location usually compare to other airport locations? (looking voor a SUV)

What vehicles should we expect if I reserved a Large luxury 7 pax SUV from Hertz?
i think the rental site has a standard Luxury Suv u could expect but it probably also said "or something alike" and i'm also confused and have asked as a "first time renter in the Usa i'll be landing in San Francisco and renting a car with Avis which is supposed to be a "Standard Elite SUV" and as reference it showed a Chevrolet Traverse (or similar) so when i arrive is there a vehicle ready? or do i get sent out into the lot and pick? i've never tried it before why i am asking :) " which hasn't been answered yet.

I’m going to be renting from Hertz in O’Hare on Tuesday and I’ve been binging these videos in hopes to find a new model Santa Fe. I really hope I can get one, since I’m looking into getting it for myself 🤞🏽

The trunk opening policy is a presentation thing that usually looks like sh*t about a half hour after the location opens for business. The managers and staff open them as if the car were saying, "Hey there, traveler, welcome to [our location]! Put your junk in my trunk, and let's get out of here!"
A windshield wiper sticking up indicates a problem with the vehicle (e.g., no keys, dead battery, etc.).
I have seen the trunks open at a couple locations. One person commented in the hot weather it was to let the heat out. I also suspected it might be to make it faster to load your luggage and go.
Nice video, as usual. I think if I had to choose I would take a Shelby Mustang. Is the rental facility on the airport? I have hired cars before but was taken by bus to the rental hub some distance away. I never picked one up at Sky Harbor itself.
Thanks! The rental facility is still offsite but the good news is they now have an airport train or people mover that will take you directly from the airport to the rental facility. Last time I flew into there it was a shuttle bus. Here is a video I did from the car rental returns back to the airport on the airport train.

My choice from the President's Circle would be the Volvo or the Camaro. It just seems that the Executive Aisle at National has some cooler cars to choose from. Thanks for the great vlog.

Shocking to see how many rims got curbed with the Mustangs, you have huge roads in the US - who is aiming to these curbs?
I never thought of that before but you are right. Who is curbing all of these rims? My guess would be people not being careful parking on the street. If you lower your passenger side mirror when backing in you'll never curb your wheels! Other than that you would be surprised how much damage is from the car washes they use (likely on a track). The spoilers and some of the paint are all scratched from going thru them.

I just got a 2024 ford f150 xlt with the new powerboost hybrid from National detroit. National an alamo are together an its cheaper to get alamo. I got it for the price of a compact.

Those mustangs must have a TON of miles on them by now.
Also that exact location said i smoked in their car and charged me a $400 cleaning fee. I had to dispute it with my CC and the Arizona attorney general. I dont smoke and they make it so there's no proof, just the attendants' word vs yours amd nothing you can do to fix it with Hertz.
Sorry to hear your about experience with Hertz. When something like that goes wrong they sure are a headache and a disaster to deal with. I've had to open a case with the state attorney general in the past with issues from Hertz. The last was when I was double billed by them for tolls when I had used my own SunPass transponder. These days I rent 99% of the time with National which helps keep these Hertz headaches to a minimum going forward. Lol

Why would you ever continue to rent with Hertz when they've falsely accused one too many people of stealing their cars and they don't even want to acknowledge it to police because the police won't believe them anymore?
President's Circle sucks in Phoenix, always Malibus and electric cars. And when its not its half stocked and the 5 star and Gold isles take priority
