Happy New Year to you Chen. New subscriber here. Altho I m Singaporean and live in SG almost all my life, I struggle to find things to do or places to go during the weekends and holidays. So I find your videos very helpful. Thank you 😊🙏
Hi Jwinsin, thanks for the sub. Glad that my videos are helpful. There are many places to go if you do google searches. 'The Travel Intern' t.me/thetravelintern on Telegram is a good resource. I have been cycling passer-by and hear of these hidden cafes till I watched your video. It is a shame after 2 years I will try to locate the cafes this upcoming weekend. Thanks for the video upload, very appreciate.
The bicycle cafe has closed. You can check out and update if they open again. You can try Hanger 66. Pay a surcharge and you can eat upstair where you can see the Seletar Airport runway in comfort.
I also didn't know this place existed. I only knew after reading about it from the Sunday Times. I have since visited the cafes a few times after discovering it. The ambience is great.
_Thanks for your latest upload Chen. Ahh reliving your childhood eh Chen? Very nice footage there mate. Happy New Year sifu.Take care. stay young at heart_ .🇸🇬😁😃
I cycled to Seletar on 4 consecutive days to recce and film the various spots. Got the planes taking off and landing only on the 4th day. Otherwise there will be a 5th or 6th day of waiting and filming. My childhood playground is at the Naval Base. That video will have to wait as I think my audience may not be interested in that area. Happy New Year and take care! 😷
@@SingaporeCityWalks Indeed. True to my assumptions about you, you are very detailed with your filming. And that makes you stand out from others. Well done! 👍😊

Hi Chen I used to work at Selatar Post Office from 1974 to 1989. Was living at the adjacent quarters with my family. We all enjoyed the serenity and marvelous beauty of this Seletar Camp. Please enlighten me what is the address of this hidden cafe , any landmark to assist me. Thank you.
Hi Vincent, you worked there for 16 long years. You must have had a really wonderful time there. The 1st cafe is Seng Soon Bicycle Cafe, where you can watch planes take-off or land while you have your snacks. It's temporarily not available at the moment. The address is in the link here - goo.gl/maps/CZbWUrqsFbc1JHUn6 The 2nd cafe is Hangar66 Cafe.
