I watched your video on the Crankshaft censor. I was able to do all of it by myself. I am a 62 year old woman. Thank you for walking me thru the process. 😊
Glad I found this video, appreciate the help. I was having the same issue with no check engine light. I thought maybe bad fuel, pump or something on that nature.
It's crazy how just a little sensor, like the Crankshaft Position Sensor, in the newer cars of today can keep the car from even starting or running! My wife had an '05 Hyundai Sonata, Crankshaft position sensor failed, car wouldn't start, there was 2 areas where it could possibly be, one was the easier of the two but still required the removal of the starter as it was mounted behind it. The other possible location was inside the timing belt cover, fortunately it was behind the starter, much easier than taking the timing chain cover off! I replaced it and it ran fine.
Had my crankshaft and camshaft sensors go out. However much I wanted to do it myself, I had to take it in to the shop because I didn’t have the time. Thanks for the video though
Thank you for sharing👍👍👍I have change this sensor 3 times already. Could you please share some light about what is causing the problem and how to fix it. Thank you again
Hi Will. So glad I saw this while looking for solutions! How awesomely wonderful you are in your craft; skilled, like an artist constructing a rare painting! I'm getting a PO340 cam sensor code on my 2000, 3.3, V6 Nissian Frontier, and P0325, knock sensor code, yet dealership code says needs transmission - 3rd gear ratio issue. Another video said distributor issue. Had towed 3 times - towing again tomorrow. Any advice, suggestions, please?
Hi Will. Thank you for replying. Had work done. Grateful it's running well. Been following you = oth chn a long while and this one since launched. Hope all's well with you and your family, and you all are enjoying a wonderful holiday weekend while honoring those who fell for our freedom. I'm a friend of Davenotncali. Sending all good to you and yours from here.
It’s possible for no code to show and still be the sensor. It was happening to me until it finally came on. Gonna change my sensor out today. My car started stalling when I had the ac on but not without it. Then yesterday it stalled on me a couple times even without ac. Hopefully that fixes it.
I really hope someone sees this comment - I replaced my crankshaft position sensor, but my Frontier engine is still stalling and losing power. Now it’s just doing so without throwing the P0340 code. If it wasn’t the sensor itself, what is the next logical place to look for the problem?

Hello from Miami
Thank you for sharing I have replaced the crank shaft position sensor 3 times already. Do you know what could be causing the problem?
Is there is crankshaft position sensor that doesn't need to be programmed for 06 Nissan frontier.
Watching it now. Having some issues common to this. Will start with the crank sensor first
Thank you
Thanks!
I saw a video that the Kentucky Speedway has 40,000 Ford new trucks parked needs the chips etc.
Thanks 🙏

Sorry for the late reply, have you ever gotten your problem solved. I just saw this today.

Mine showed this code would take forever to start would turn over for least 10 sec before it would start up
About how much is this part?
I wish you had actually showed the removal of the old sensor and the installation of the new
Was that sensor 1 or no# 2 sensor on passenger side
You are confusing two different sensor types. Camshaft (2) and crankshaft (1) in this video.
My Frontier is doing the same thing except no check engine light. No stored codes.
Mine is too… no codes. Did you fix yours? Was it the crankshaft position sensor

I was told the timing belt could be an issue if the crankshaft sensor didn't do it.
How about this :
God loves us. But the engine designers at Nissan do not.
so much talking. half the video just talking. get to the point man.
my bolt broke 💀
Been better if you showed it before you took it off
