I think a lot of people like the bigger bars of metal or large volumes of coins who don't have the funds to buy that much silver. You can scrap coppoer easily so don't need the proof marks or the safey of a coin so you'd be better off going scrapping or buying generic copper pipe and melting it into your own ingots. You would likely get many times the amount for the same price while also being able to scrao it with any scrapyard. Yeah its nice to hold and pretty but why not make the same things with even cheaper metals in that case like steel or bronze?

Thanks for your kind words. Make sure the wrap isn't split. A cool room is good too. The main thing is to make sure it doesn't oxidise due to being exposed to the air my friend!
I never buy copper bullion. The premiums are ridiculous. the cheapest I can find rounds at is $1.25. Melt is $4.37 a pound so I should be able to buy 16 ADVP rounds for less than $5. The premiums put a pound of copper rounds at $20 which is more than a 500% premium. The only way I buy copper is in pennies. Copper pennies weigh 3.11 grams and I can buy 5000 copper pennies for about $90. That is about 35 pounds for $90 at that price I pay about $2.60 a pound which is far below melt at $4.37 a pound.
It's a sales gimmick. Copper IS really a beautiful metal, and the bars and rounds are spectacular looking. Just not valuable or something to stack. One would have to have their garage stacked full to the ceiling with copper to make any significant gain on a price spike. Or just a tube of gold in the safe by comparison. It isn't practical OR an investment. But they're pretty enough that some people buy them. I was under the porch on my new place fixing up a bit, and out of the corner of my eye I saw a coin capsule with that familiar glow. Immediately I thought "Krugerrand!!!!!!!!!" Dang copper round.
i collect scrap copper, never bullion.. to high of a premium, u can find this stuff everywhere so i cant justify paying the premium for copper bullion.
Totally understand your thinking. Some premiums are horrendous. Having a couple of collectibles can be a nice thing. It's never going to be gold or silver but sometimes a really nice copper round comes to market.
Absolutely… old UK, US, Canadian, and other pennies/cents can be had for melt price or less. Copper rounds and bars are for suckers. 11 quid for that round is total bollocks. Could’ve had a sockful of copper pennies for that price.
@@SyTheSoundman Been trying to find it on Google but either it isn't been sold anymore or I was typing in the wrong words in a Google search. It is a very nice clock. Wish I had something like it. Bet it cost a lot of money too.
There was a recent prophecy saying copper is going to be valuable in the very near future and to save your old copper pennies. If God says it then its inevitable. I've collected around 2000 ounces of copper bullion and silver. Praise God!
Nickels are the real copper bullion. 75%copper 25% nickel and they can be purchased AT SPOT WITH NO PREMIUM from any bank. And even if the copper price tanks they will be worth 5 cents no matter what. But if the copper price soars they will be like pre-82 pennies.
I work where they sell copper wire. Why buy this premium copper bullion when you could spend a few thousand dollars on a big roll of copper wire and if needed you could cut whatever amount you want off of it when needed for trade? I was seriously looking at the 500 foot roll of 2 aught braided wire. Get a shed and stack up reels of it.
A really good point well made. Preppers will 100% agree with you as would some investors. When people buy collectable copper coins or rounds, they tend to buy just one and don't really stack. Thanks for your comment my friend!
If you guys want to stack something cheap. Just stack nickels. They will have to stop making them someday. I think before the decade is up. We have sent so many weapons to Ukraine we are going to need to re stockpile and nickel will explode in a couple years. And copper will also. All these massive GPU AI processing facilities the massive companies want to do are insane. Our power bills are going to explode. If google sais its building a 100,000 GPU plant. I believe thats as much electricity as a city of 400,000 people use. Were screwed as far as power bills go in a few years and they will need so much copper
Copper is not worth it ,I know first hand because I done roofing and we scrap all our unwanted cuts of copper ,you’ve got to give a ton to receive a little back

I know right! I guess copper is a hot topic! Thanks mate and thanks for watching!
I Like it , it's way over priced , but now and then I can afford to buy some :) QC
I bought three 5 LB . copper bars from " Provident Metals " April 2012 . I don't need the money now ( I stack silver ) and I like em . Hay , one day I'll sell em .
@@monkeyman4131 It's definitely a case of buying what you like with copper. That's about where it stops for me anyway!
it is only a bad investment if you pay the high premiums, I look in penny rolls for older ones.
Copper world market cap.. then you have all the fundamental future plans with use of copper. The copper futures charts look promising.. i dc what anybody says. People will be speaking on how they missed out, moving forward.
it looks 500 years old. rub some mud into it.
I like most the stuff that germania mint makes that bar looks great. I collect copper wire but i dont know if thats pure 999
Hi, great content. I got a 10oz germania mint bar and its gone very dark in just 2 weeks. What do you do to keep it looking normal
Thanks for your kind words. Make sure the wrap isn't split. A cool room is good too. The main thing is to make sure it doesn't oxidise due to being exposed to the air my friend!
@@SyTheSoundman great advise, will do thanks
I never buy copper bullion. The premiums are ridiculous. the cheapest I can find rounds at is $1.25. Melt is $4.37 a pound so I should be able to buy 16 ADVP rounds for less than $5. The premiums put a pound of copper rounds at $20 which is more than a 500% premium. The only way I buy copper is in pennies. Copper pennies weigh 3.11 grams and I can buy 5000 copper pennies for about $90. That is about 35 pounds for $90 at that price I pay about $2.60 a pound which is far below melt at $4.37 a pound.
@@bobsacamano7653 Great points here. I am seeing a lot of comments about buying rolls of pennies. Very interesting!
I bought some copper at a coin show a few years ago just because I still had money in my wallet and didn't have any copper.
Exactly. Want profits? Buy copper mining companies, not the metal FFS.
@@AmericanBulldogFit Yep. Stock instead of bullion. Copper is a depleting resource, with big industrial use.
Completely agree with this fabulous comment. Copper is a "buy what you like" thing for me personally. Shame about the Krugerrand, I really felt that 😂
Russian jewelers add copper to gold when making jewelry. That's what gives it reddish tint. That actually how you get rose gold.
wow GSH you Legend!
Seconded. What a piece eh?
Cheers Nerd!
i collect scrap copper, never bullion.. to high of a premium, u can find this stuff everywhere so i cant justify paying the premium for copper bullion.
Totally understand your thinking. Some premiums are horrendous. Having a couple of collectibles can be a nice thing. It's never going to be gold or silver but sometimes a really nice copper round comes to market.
That 2oz Aztec is AMAZING!!
Yeah, it blew my mind to be fair my friend! Thanks for stopping by WMW!
It's the next silver after it gets priced to the moon. Also, copper rounds are at a price that's fun to buy and collect
Copper- the new silver. Watch and learn
About 13 years ago i got a monster box of some copper rounds to use as poker chips lol Most of them are very tarnished at this point.
i’m up to about 20 lbs of copper from picking pre 1982 pennies in bank boxes…
How do you prevent the rounds and bars from oxidizing?
Air tight capsules or tubes! Some bars come with a none plastic wrap that is excellent for long term storage
Pennies sir... old pennys have a ton of copper.
Absolutely… old UK, US, Canadian, and other pennies/cents can be had for melt price or less. Copper rounds and bars are for suckers. 11 quid for that round is total bollocks. Could’ve had a sockful of copper pennies for that price.
Can't disagree with this comment!
I buy it because it's beautiful and it fun to have I have 226oz of copper bullion it fun to hold and look at
Where can i buy copper?
Depends on which form of copper you prefer!
I would handle those with gloves on, the oil on your skin will start to turn them a darker color over time.
One way to think about these is that they are art bars and rounds. Treat them as you would in buying art, for enjoyment of display and sharing.
@@farqs6070 yes I agree with this comment!
like art huh... so a money laundering scam?
They do look lovely , and you never know
Agree and agree!
That stopwatch clock is very nice. If you don't mind can you tell me where you bought it from?
Great video btw.
@@daviniarobbins9298 It was from a shop in Gretna, Scotland. I cannot remember the name of it!
Praise God!
“I wasn’t drunk when i bought these”! 😂🍻
😂
Paying 2 to 3 bucks for an ounce of copper is only 32 to 48 bucks a pound
A pound of copper is $4
copper will go to $20 per oz---someday
Nickels are the real copper bullion. 75%copper 25% nickel and they can be purchased AT SPOT WITH NO PREMIUM from any bank. And even if the copper price tanks they will be worth 5 cents no matter what. But if the copper price soars they will be like pre-82 pennies.
Find electrical bus bars if you want copper.
Are they as nice as copper coins, rounds and bars though?
Silver and gold coins look nicer in my opinion.
I think the whole precious metals community will agree with you my friend!
Great viddo
Cheers Tech!
I like it. Collectors item.
How much does it cost to buy from USA?
What in particular my friend?
wouldn't it be a better investment to go to your local building store and buy a bunch of copper pipes and store them in your basement ?
Copper is not worth it ,I know first hand because I done roofing and we scrap all our unwanted cuts of copper ,you’ve got to give a ton to receive a little back
i want tin bullion 😃
It's going to come into it's own one day I think
@@Jumpingintosilver No one can argue against this Jumping. Who knows what's going to happen in the future?

Thank you as always mate!
Let's GO!

It is more of a gimmick to get people to buy Copper which is NOT a good investment at all stick to Silver and Gold those are the real solid investments Imo
The whole community would pretty much agree with you my friend! Great comment!
@@SyTheSoundman Thank you for your words I appreciate the feedback
Just go to your local metal scrap yard and buy copper cable for 5 bucks a pound!
The best way to get copper coins is in your penny's 97% copper and no cost before 1991 all copper 1992 on all steel
I didn’t see any Freedom Girl rounds in your copper collection.
I have seen these in silver but not in copper!
@@SyTheSoundman they’re part of the Silver Shield collection from Golden State Mint.
Available in silver, copper, and every few years they make some in gold.
