Linda i watch alot of cooking and canning videos, and have followed and enjoyed you for years... BUT... you do one thing that after every video I always say GOOD FOR HER.. you never waste food, you actually always get a spatula and clean that pan out. Others just dont do it and I watch as they put that pan in the sink with sooo much left. Anyway I finally had to say something. Spatulas are made for a reason....so GOOD FOR YOU. Someone taught you right.

My daughter probably eats the rest of your ketchup share for the year! So finding something that I could make at home much cheaper sounds so good. Though I may try it with some tomato paste and see if she will eat it before I invest in tomato powder (I have some tomato paste on hand for chili). We go through ridiculous amounts of ketchup here.

If you want a great sugar free no cook BBQ sauce, try this one: 29 ounces of sugar free tomato sauce, 6 oz tomato paste, 2 ounces bourbon, 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoon liquid smoke, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tablespoon hot sauce, 3/4 cup sugar substitute, 1/4 cup brown sugar substitute, 2 tablespoon finely chopped onion, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, mix together well and its ready to use. Hope you like it.

I find it gets too thick and grainy if you don't bloom the onion powder in hot boiling water for at least 30 mins or longer but neck yeah it saves you a ton of money and no corn syrup or hidden sugars👍

Hi Linda, I have some questions about your preparation of your tomato ketchup. I'm intrigued. But let's start out with the refrigerator filter that I thought I heard you say removes chlorine? I am not aware that there was any filter that can remove that flurry. Could you please expand on that comment. I am also somewhat baffled by your comments on fermentation. I guess I need to go to some other channels and do some studying on the fermentation process. That is unless you can straighten me out in short order. So if I understood right if you do not want to ferment your ketchup you need to put it in the refrigerator cuz you're not sure that you can can it? Do I have that correct? I do have a question about something that annoys me very much. When I purchase catch up and it is opened in the refrigerator it just Frost me that the first thing out of the bottle usually the plastic bottle is a whole mess of water. Well I expect this with your ketchup? And I wish to thank you because I'm not that good at cooking things but I try to do my best that you specified dry mustard. When a recipe says mustard I scratched my head and now which one are they talking about? So I found it very helpful that you were very specific.
I also have some questions about the Thrive life process and what happens when you skip a month. I found it necessary to do that as I am a low-income person. And to me Thrive life prices are simply making things a luxury. But the state where I live has helped you out they took out a bridge and then maybe even a trip to Walmart over 50 miles one way. And that brought Thrive life back into my budget range. It's an either-or situation spend it on car gas or buy Thrive life and have it delivered to your door. But when I skipped a delivery I was Declassified as a consultant. And you are my upline. I'm not sure how this happened. I've spent several hours on the phone trying to get ahold of someone who can answer my question. and four other questions Thrive life has been really good but this is one that everyone is trying to avoid. So what happens when you skip a delivery are you automatically taken off as a consultant. I also received emails telling me that I would have different consequences if I did not order the next month. So I did order the next month but I still found all of a sudden I was reduced back down to just a single time buyer. Can you give me any suggestions or an explanation as to why this happened? I moved to my present location where I live from a Northern State. and I have found living in Southwestern Part of the United States we have a different viewpoint and if you will ' stores cater to another type of population then what is in the North. ' I see all Hispanic oriented food items even at the Walmart stores. And the Distribution Center is just to the north of where I live in Cheyenne Nebraska. my cultural heritage is actually Prussian and my parents would have said Polish. that's not unusual for a Walmart store. Through the videos and magic of RUclips magic I found out that the Mormons also have their own special type of Walmart store. they have what other parts of the United States may consider restaurant sized cans and containers of food. You won't find that and many other areas.
please do not think I am trolling you because of the length of my comment. I typically post long comment. I would have put this in the email to you but as in the past you used to have your email address and even a phone number list it. They are no longer there so I decided to do it this way. I enjoy all of your videos. I even learned that Tupperware is still in business. And through talking to the representatives that thrive life I have been told that there aren't very many Thrive life Consultants. I thought it was tough to be a consultant in my area because I was a guy in a woman's world. then I learned from talking with people that's right of life was viewed negatively because of several high-pressure sellers in this particular area. These cold callers become very abusive when they are not getting an order from the first call. It's turned many people off.

Thank you for replying Linda. Long time sub here. I understand that they have natural sugar however, just like in commercial prep, they say "sugar free" but actually it is "no sugar added". Many people still get confused especially new diabetics. The recipe looks great for a lower sugar option which I appreciate. Take care.

@@LindasPantry Sugar is sugar. You'd know that if you weren't a high school dropout scam artist pushing nonsense like thrive, that fell down the pseudoscience rabbit hole I can probably guess 10 other popular easily proven myths that you blindly believe that quite literally any common high school student with average grades would easily be able to explain to you.
      Shame you on.

Wow! I find that 70 pound figure hard to believe (not from you, but the source 😉). How can anyone eat 1.3 pounds of ketchup a week? Yikes! And like you, we eat very little of it, so to be an average, tons of people have to be eating even more than that! Just shows how NOT normal we are 🤣 Thanks for the wonderful recipe!
