The Phantom is a great choice if you want something reliable. Water cooled, shaft drive means it will last a long time and there is very little maintenance. I sold mine and bought a Harley. At times I wish I had kept it.
@rogershipman3578, I'm not trying to be funny, but do you wish you kept it because of the maintenance cost between the Honda & the Harley? I want to get my wife one of these as her first bike, she's going to take the MSF course in the spring! My wife does like the sportster 883, so that was the reason I ask about the difference in your opinion on the harley vs the honda. Which do you think would be a better purchase for her first bike?
I find it odd that all the reviews of Shadow 750s have comments about it being "a small bike" and questions like "I'm 6'2", will this bike be too small for me?". Just to put it into perspective, it has a longer wheelbase than a Harley Road King and the same seat height; does the name on the tank make a Harley bigger some how, or do riders just not notice being cramped if they spent $20K on their bike?
I started out on a 750 honda shadow. I might have looked a little funny on it (I'm 6' 3" 380 pounds) but it was....okay. It pulled me weight and build pretty good but I had to switch out the seat for a mustang seat. Other than that it was fine. I just feel they don't preform well on highways.
I don't own a Shadow and am not planning to, and I'm not talking about the performance, pro or con. My point is that it's not really a "small" bike, it's dimensions are about average for a cruiser. The reason the Phantom probably feels cramped is because of the goofy handlebars that have too much pullback and put your wrists at an unnatural angle. That's something that can be easily fixed, I've owned 18 bikes and except for maybe 2 of them the bars were the first thing I changed.
I'm 5'10" and I feel like the front pegs are not far enough forward, and the handlebars are not high enough or far enough back. Otherwise, it feels like a decent sized bike to me.
If Harley keeps sinking, you might get a chance to do that. Honda as a company is pretty conservative though. I think a Chinese manufacturer might be more interested in Harley.
Sweet! I'm 58 and live in Pittsburgh, and have decided to start a new chapter in life riding on two wheels. "SRK", I love your videos and am thoroughly entertained each and every time I watch one. Having considered a Harley Iron as well, I think I'm sold on a Shadow Phantom due to your insightful expertise. Thank you. It's just a matter of finding the bike with my name on it at this point.
I drive a phantom from 2010. It is great. Not as much fun active driving as some other bikes but for cruising and some active driving it is awesome. Power is ok for most driving. The best thing for me it is just a workhorse, it always starts and goes and never complains. The torque is great. Even if I have the wrong gear it just goes and never dies. Also it was cheap. A lot of bike for the money. Thank you for your review, I agree with you. =)
I have a 2015 model and it is a great ride. A lot of power. It's a mid size cruiser. I wouldn't classify it as a beginner bike because you have a smaller bikes out there. I take mine out on the Highway and Parkway as well and , easily Highway worthy as well. Years ago the 750 used to be the biggest size out on the market for a while, Until they started coming out with the bigger V Twins later on. This is an awesome bike ! Great video
I would not call the Phantom a bike with "a lot of power." It is a bike with plenty pf power for it's size on the streets, enough that most any rider should find it to be a fun bike to ride. Now, the 03 V-Max I used to own... THAT bike had A LOT of power. On Shawn's death scale, the 1st gen V-Max is *OVER 9000!*
Jose, being 5'1 with a 28 inch inseam. I absolutely love this bike. After a year of riding. I've added an Cobra (exhaust, floor boards, air filter, fuel management system) and a solo mustang seat. I am ready to upgrade to a bigger bike but I don't know if I can find another cruiser that sits this low. I've put over 5,000 miles in a year. This year I am estimating adding another 10,000 miles ha ha ha. Don't know why I waited so long to ride a motorcycle.
cvang234 yea im asking because im 5 f 6inc and i love the way im able to sit on the phantom, it really is the only one ive found to let me touch the floor lol
Glad youre not too too far, if I want to go to you to buy. Never ridden a day in my life but its a life goal to start with the Shadow, very informative, thanks!
great vids SRK. I've always liked the honda cruisers, and I'm on the verge of picking up a 2019 Shadow Phantom. I've been doing a lot of research, and it seems to be the best bang for your buck. I was planning on getting a Rebel as my first bike, but figured I'm a little too large for it (6'4) and would want something larger eventually. I plan on keeping it long term.
Good review Sean. I too loved this bike when I first bought mine in 2016 (traded in 2013 cbr600rr), however after a few years have gotten bored of riding it and really missing the sports bike. Since bought a Triumph Daytona 675 and now considering selling the phantom for something else. The shadow is a fun little bike, but in stock form isn't much more than a cool looking scooter. Pipes really make these bikes sound good. My biggest complaint is comfort... neither my wife or I find it comfortable, especially on trips longer than 1 hour. Sport bikes are actually (and surprisingly) MUCH more comfortable.
My first bike as a 80's VT 500. Had drag pipes on it. Basically was a huffy bike with a motor on it. Never had an issue out of it during the two years I owned it. I also ran the living crap out of it. I also not knowing anything about bikes and never thinking about it.. I left the choke on full blast thinking it was off for two years. I always thought the carbs were dirty and even took them off twice to clean them. Then just adjusted the idle and said hell with it. Finally one day a guy was looking at my bike outside the store and said "You know your choke is on right?".. that was a big homer simpson DOH!! It still ran okay during that period and never really hurt the bike. Honda makes a great bike.
The heel/toe shifter is aftermarket, as well as the passenger backrest, risers, bars, and grips. The rake and trail figures are unchanged from as far back as 1998. All in all, I agree with you on these Honda Shadows. They are excellent and fun bikes. I do miss my 98 750 ACE. If I do ever buy another Shadow, I think I want to try out the RS.
Pretty sure those are aftermarket bars. The stock bar is a one piece drag bar. That's probably why the cables are pulled back so tight under the triple tree. The lines should probably all be replaced with longer lines, especially if you want to adjust those bars any higher. I had to get custom cables made by Motion Pro for my mini-ape install.
That’s what I have. No surprises. How to the ground and planted - I’m 5-8 and I flat foot with my knees bent and I like my feet forward. It looks great and that’s how I use it - country back roads. It’s pretty heavy though like 550 and low and wide
looking to get my first bike within a year or 2 and am definetley considering the shadow phantom 2015 or 16. Just love the look of this bike and sounds like it is good for a beginner! thanks!
I’m looking to get my first bike so I’m interested in these smaller beginner friendly bikes like the shadow and the Vulcan 900... my only question or concern is how fast would I be able to go on the highway without killing the motor? Not trying to fly down the highway but at least get up past 60 in to the 70-80 mph range, would I be able to do that on this?
FINALLY someone else who gets on from the right side sometimes! Everyone always gives me shit because I'll hop on my bike from whichever side I happen to be on most of the time. They always say the same thing; "you're supposed to get on from the left!". My response is always the same, with "why?" And all I ever get is "because that's how your supposed to mount a bike". For me it is just as easy to hop on from either side, especially on something low like a Shadow. To each his own I guess but I can't even count how many times someone has asked me if I'm a new rider when seeing me mount from the right and I just don't get it. I have a GSXR 750 and a Shadow Aero 750 and mount both from either side.
nah its just they way the bike leans on its kick stand. Most of the time the bike is leaning left so you dont have to lift your leg as high compared to the right side.
Because if you fuck up and kick it over from the left to the right you can catch it. If you trip mounting from the right you’re gonna fall all over and probably knock the bike over
post a video of your camera + mic settup please! guess your using the chestmount? (or a link to a already existing video :-) ) loved it mate! my first bike was and is a ~Honda Shadow VT750 C2 1997~
hello, Good video thank you, I want to know if this bike is comfortable for a long trip with two places ? and I ask what's the top speed for this bike ? and in wich speed you feel safely ?
Good review from SRK Cycles. I was in the Lancaster area last week, but their web site said they were closed to the 21st. Wanted to see their shop. I am going to keep an eye out on their site as I am looking at a Shadow Phantom as my second bike. I’ve been riding a ‘09 Rebel 250 for 6 years now and looking for just a bit more power (not a lot) and a bit more comfort. Also want to have the same rock solid reliability that I’ve had with the Rebel.
I'm in the same boat. However, out of the two choices I'm going honda shadow. I was just at the dealership the other day in my order of presidence when I get a bike: 1) honda shadow, kawasaki vulcan 900, suzuki c50/m50, then the vulcan s. Remember that's all subjective though based on my personal comfort level and body type. So what works for me, may not work for you.
2012 phantom shadow 750, 2017 honda rebel, or a 2016 vulcan 650 s....? Im a brand new rider, later looking to add a passenger, thoughts and recommendations welcome!
Honda shadow 750 all the way. I just started riding a little over a month ago. After a few bumps in the road on the first few days, I got the hang of it and honestly, I feel like the power of the shadow is great without it being too much. I dont know anything about the Vulcan, but if you're wanting to eventually add a passenger, I would suggest against a rebel. But the shadow handles passengers great as well. Highly recommended
Nice video. Not sure if Americans know this, but in Singapore our first bikes have to be below 200cc... Shadow 750 for a first bike? That would be AMAZING.
I had a Honda 600cc now I am having Virago 250. I am more than pleased. It gets me where I want and still has the kick to overtake. If you want acceleration buy a sports bike.
Marko I know what you mean, cruisers aren't meant to be racers. That much makes sense, but at 90-100km/h a 200c bike, even if it's a cruiser, feels like it's about to die of exhaustion. All that vibration is absorbed by the rider which feels so uncomfortable!
Nick Ang I know what you mean, and this is why I love Virago/Dragstar. You can play with sprockets and set it to 17/38 and you can cruise 100km without vibrations and high rev. Many have tried this setup and everyone are happy with it. They say it is a different bike.
Beginner rider here! Question for you. I'm a taller guy (6ft 3in) and broadly built, I've been shopping around for the last while and want to know if I'm in the general area. I -love- cruisers so I've been looking at Suzuki Boulevard C50t's, Yamaha V-star 1100's and Honda Shadows or even a Stryker. Would any of those be suited for a beginner? I'm looking more for something that I'm not going to smash my knees with the handlebars on and doesn't cost a fortune at the same time. Awesome channel btw, you got a subscriber out of me after three vids.
I'll definitely have to look into that. Don't really know if you'd ship up to Soviet Cannuckistan (Canada, eh?) though. But I will definitely take a peek regardless! Thanks again for the advice, and I will definitely refine my search a bit in future. V-star 950 eh? I'll have to give that one a gander, that one kinda flew out of my radar for a while, people told me bad things about them but I'll take a peek if you say they are good. Thanks again! Appreciate it!
+Sean Kerr I was leaning towards the Harley so I can convert to 1200 when the time comes. I've found an 883 and the 750 where I live, they both cost around the same.
Shadow Phantrom 750 and here is why : 1. Better built quality (Sorry guys but HD parts are 50% made in China and uses Mikuni Jap carb) 2. Has a drive shaft 3. Better stability over Iron 883 (du to longer wheelbase) 4. It's less cramped for a passenger (but back seat still sucks) 5. More reliable
@Sean Kerr Why do you call it an "entry level bike" ? I really do not understand that specific concept . I mean what is difference between 750cc cruiser and 1100cc cruiser? They both have decent acceleration, they both are good for cruising 75mph, they are both approximately same size......so why "entry bike" title ? Besides , nobody should have 750cc for his first bike.......ever !
+Sean Kerr Well from my experience (I don't have a lot to show for) I found my Honda Shadow 600(583cc) very agressive compared to Dragstar650cc. Now...the Phatom has 750cc and 45Hp, but bear in mind that has drive shaft. Now compare Honda Shadow Phantom with regular Honda Shadow 750 DC (drvie chain). You will find DC model very agressive and more responsive on the throttle. The point I want to make is that you can have 1100cc engine, but if you have drive shaft, you end up with 20% of less power in the wheel and you are heavier compared to lighter 750cc DC or even belt driven 800cc bike. So when it comes to acceleraion it is even match. That is why I would never consider a Phantom 750cc bike as "entry level" bike. Especially because it has a drive shaft that can throw you off the bike while down-shifting because shifting gears on these bikes is more delicate compared to regular chain driven bikes.
+Sean Kerr Cheers. And thank you for fast reply. I am not saying it more dangerous...but it requires more experience compared to chain driven bikes. For example it is not recommended to shift in high revs as it is on chain driven bikes either it is "safer" to downshift in curves (if you have to for some reason). In that sense the drive shaft demands caution. it is the most reliable, but it also demands from a rider to be little more safe-aware, and that is not something I would recommned for first riders if you know what I mean. I as entry bike I would still recommend 250cc like Rebel, Virago or Dragstar and then going upwards. They have the power and with sprocket change these little bikes can cruise 60-65mph easy. I sold my Honda Shadow 600 and 3 years later here I am with 250cc Virago and I am very happy because I found it much better for commuting. But by all means I would never clasify Phantom 750 as entry bike due to it's mass (213 kg / 470 punds) and due to drive shaft.
Im on the way to buy shadow phantom, just tell me.. is it possible to make longesr tours on this bike ? like 300-600km ? What you think about it ? What about highway speeds about 110-140km/h ? is it enough comfortable ? Thank you :)
All day long. My 2012 Phantom cruises around 75-80. I have taken it on several long rides. New York to Florida, Texas to Florida, Tucson to LA. I wouldn’t hesitate to go on any trip with my 750
On a 2013 Honda Shadow Spirit, I cruised at 75-80 MPH for 720 miles out to Omaha Nebraska on Interstate highways in one day with fork, tank, saddle and a good sized rear seat bag. My bat wing faring arrived the day I got back and I bought a Mustang 2-piece touring seat to make it more comfortable after 80 miles in the saddle. It handled the highway and headwinds like a champ.
joekel I'm 6'1 i had a vstar 650 when I was 357 lbs (lost weight since.. I'm 275 now) and it was plenty being a new rider.. so this Honda 750 will be fine... I suggest putting forward controls on tho at our height haha but other than that it's a perfect starting bike for us big boys.... I watched a RUclips video and just taught myself to ride over a weekend (I would take a class tho to be safer) ...It's wonderful lol
Sometimes it is actually better without gloves cause your hands are sweaty. I usually use gloves but sometimes in hot weather I feel more safe without...
You should see these guys here on HDs riding with NO gear at all. I actually saw a guy riding with ONLY shorts ( and no shoes or anything, barefoot) and nothing else!!!!
The reason i asked was because i've been riding a heavily modified 750 shadow for this past year and i really want to get a 2012 stryker as my next bike. The shadow feels tiny for me since im 6' 3" 380 pounds. I feel the stryker will be a better route
Strykers turning is a slugist but it takes off much much much faster than the shadow its a little heavier to but honestly you wont notice the weight difference.
Tnx for Sharing some good review … Got some Suzuki’s and Kawi ..Anyways i’m really gonna buy one 750 honda..anyways it’s not the bike you riding,it’s where you going
@@valleyviewchurch2737 I would say yes. Its not super expensive and it requires very little maintenance. I imagine any Shadow 750 would be a perfect first bike
The Phantom is just different trim package (paint, wheels, and drag bars.) As far as ride and handling, any shadow should be similar, go for the trim package that pleases you.
Saw this in the Honda shop, I'm 5'6" so this reminded me of the 70's harley low rider feel. Why would you limit it to backroads, can't this make it easily on 150 mile to cross country trips? Right now I'm riding an 01 suzuki marauder vz800. I like low profile bikes.
+Sean Kerr too big. Need a lower profile to fit in tight spots for parking in my neighborhood. Shadow spirit 750 maybe. Older one. $6000 phantom came to $7600 with tax and prep. No way.
Hey,man! What's your height? I think about purchasing such bike, but as I see on video, you're rather tall, I guess. I'm 6,49 feet tall and hesitate about comfort...
I'm glad to see a review of this bike on youtube. Thanks for making this video. Those handlebars are not the stock ones that normally come on the C2B Phantom,. The factory ones are a lot more forward then those. I agree with you on the looks too, definitely a nice looking bike, especially for the price.
well,95% there was a issue with 2013 usa hondas shadows, with inside petrol tank paint peeling,in very very hot tempatures.cuzin flooded carbs when standing long time parked.as im aware thats only problem there his.
My 2015 Phantom has front end wobble between 40-55 mph but smooths out above 55. Trying to figure out if that is normal or if I have a problem. No problems here with mirrors though.
No wobble from mine. I think the vibrations I have are from the exhaust. When stopped at idle the bike shakes a bit like a Harley. I'd post your situation on reddit.com/r/motorcycles and see what people say there.
I bought a 2010 750 Shadow a while ago. I've looked at many reviews and in them, people keep sayings what a light bike they are. I find my bike F---ing heavy and hard to control. I weigh 70kgs , not big but not skinny. Someone confirm please, are these considered a light bike at 300 kgs plus and a long wheel base or should I just go to a Harley 500???
It is light for a great allround but if you mainly drive in city traffic it is not that nimble. However, when you know this bike it is ok. If you want more nimble you should look for something else...
I'm 5'10", and I ride one of these every day. The bars should be the right height for you, but they might be a little far forward. I feel like I have short arms for my height, and I felt like the stock drag bars are a little too low, and a little too far forward. I am in the middle of replacing the stock drag bars with mini apes to bring them up about 2" and back about 2". The foot pegs should be just right for you.
The Phantom is a great choice if you want something reliable. Water cooled, shaft drive means it will last a long time and there is very little maintenance. I sold mine and bought a Harley. At times I wish I had kept it.

looking to get my first bike within a year or 2 and am definetley considering the shadow phantom 2015 or 16.
Yessss
I'd love one of these could you ship one to the uk as they're not available here
Can you go long-distances with this bike?
Would you recommend this bike go state to state? Like for travel?
They can take it but they will not be as confortable as a more touring oriented bike. Ive seen shadows with over 160k miles on the odo.
Next time tell them, "your mom doesn't mind which side I mount her on".
nah its just they way the bike leans on its kick stand. Most of the time the bike is leaning left so you dont have to lift your leg as high compared to the right side.
Because if you fuck up and kick it over from the left to the right you can catch it. If you trip mounting from the right you’re gonna fall all over and probably knock the bike over
@@tccoup355 *SAVAGE!*
Loved the deathmeter scale 😂👌🏼
I'm getting this bike. I have to have it
post a video of your camera + mic settup please! guess your using the chestmount? (or a link to a already existing video :-) ) loved it mate! my first bike was and is a ~Honda Shadow VT750 C2 1997~
Im looking to buy a phantom 2015 or newer
I like the custom license plate holder, all your vids are really good.
thanks and thanks for watching, dont forget to subscribe
Srkcycles he'll sub if he wants to lol wtf
Are you shifting super early? Or are the Rpms in these things stupid low? Sounds like you’re shifting at 4-5000 rpm
hello,
Good video thank you,
I want to know if this bike is comfortable for a long trip with two places ?
and I ask what's the top speed for this bike ? and in wich speed you feel safely ?
I like you so much, like all of your reviews, test drives and stuff, they're very informative. :)
thanks and thanks for watching
Good review from SRK Cycles. I was in the Lancaster area last week, but their web site said they were closed to the 21st. Wanted to see their shop. I am going to keep an eye out on their site as I am looking at a Shadow Phantom as my second bike. I’ve been riding a ‘09 Rebel 250 for 6 years now and looking for just a bit more power (not a lot) and a bit more comfort. Also want to have the same rock solid reliability that I’ve had with the Rebel.
This model in a 2015, would you recommend the kawasaki vulcan s 650 or the Honda phantom 750. Thanks
I wanna know too, trying to decide between the two.... I'm gonna be a brand new rider, thanks!
What was ur first bike
@@redsynister4836 thanks!
Those aren't stock handlebars are they?
Nice video. Not sure if Americans know this, but in Singapore our first bikes have to be below 200cc... Shadow 750 for a first bike? That would be AMAZING.
200cc? Holy shit that's bad, I'd honestly prefer a bicycle instead of that.
Nick Ang
I know what you mean, and this is why I love Virago/Dragstar.
You can play with sprockets and set it to 17/38 and you can cruise 100km without vibrations and high rev.
Many have tried this setup and everyone are happy with it. They say it is a different bike.
this is the first vid i watched of you damm you have gotten better at making videos haha
any experience with a 2015 Suzuki M50? contemplating that or the phantom.
hello srkcycles, you got any phantoms?
Where's this place. What a nice place to ride.
lancaster county PA
The Man i live in southern York county and I just had a feeling it was PA lol
Thanks to this video im on the hunt for this bike 👍🤟
Well, at least I do not have to worry about size because I am a little under/above 5'6.
What camera do you use? The video and audio quality are both perfect! Clean!
+Earnest N. go pro hero 4 black
no gloves? wow
My 1st bike was a Bridgestone 90 2nd 100cc Yamaha dirtbike. 3rd Yamaha 650 [old School]
I've been debating on the 883, Shadow Phantom 750 or the Vstar 650. Which one would you recommend more?
+Sean Kerr I was leaning towards the Harley so I can convert to 1200 when the time comes. I've found an 883 and the 750 where I live, they both cost around the same.
Shadow Phantrom 750 and here is why :
1. Better built quality (Sorry guys but HD parts are 50% made in China and uses Mikuni Jap carb)
2. Has a drive shaft
3. Better stability over Iron 883 (du to longer wheelbase)
4. It's less cramped for a passenger (but back seat still sucks)
5. More reliable
3:20 What a beautiful country.
@Sean Kerr
Why do you call it an "entry level bike" ?
I really do not understand that specific concept . I mean what is difference between 750cc cruiser and 1100cc cruiser?
They both have decent acceleration, they both are good for cruising 75mph, they are both approximately same size......so why "entry bike" title ?
Besides , nobody should have 750cc for his first bike.......ever !
+Sean Kerr
Well from my experience (I don't have a lot to show for) I found my Honda Shadow 600(583cc) very agressive compared to Dragstar650cc.
+Sean Kerr
Cheers.
+Sean Kerr
Cheers mate..
Ride safe and continue making nice videos like this one ;)
Im on the way to buy shadow phantom, just tell me.. is it possible to make longesr tours on this bike ? like 300-600km ?
What you think about it ?
What about highway speeds about 110-140km/h ? is it enough comfortable ?
Thank you :)
yes check out my 750 shadow highway video.
I've been on long rides at about 120km/h. It is totally ok and if you are often on these long drives, buy the windscreen, it is only 150$ or so. =)
All day long. My 2012 Phantom cruises around 75-80. I have taken it on several long rides. New York to Florida, Texas to Florida, Tucson to LA. I wouldn’t hesitate to go on any trip with my 750
750 shadow I feel are good for around town but lack legs out on the highway. Great bike regardless!
@@MrBiggles53 try the 1100 shadow and you will probably put that 750 up for sale within hours lol
Never rode a motorcycle before but looking to get into it. I'm 6'3 350 would the 750 be a good starting point for me?
joekel I'm 6'1 i had a vstar 650 when I was 357
lbs (lost weight since..
What? No gloves?
Sometimes it is actually better without gloves cause your hands are sweaty. I usually use gloves but sometimes in hot weather I feel more safe without...
You should see these guys here on HDs riding with NO gear at all. I actually saw a guy riding with ONLY shorts ( and no shoes or anything, barefoot) and nothing else!!!!
Now that'd be what you'd call a squid.
In regards to the heel-toe shifting. Is it heel for down shifting?
Scott Martin only up... When you push down with heel the toe shifter can only go up... Think about it.. lol
how does this bike compare to the 2012 yamaha stryker 1300?
The reason i asked was because i've been riding a heavily modified 750 shadow for this past year and i really want to get a 2012 stryker as my next bike. The shadow feels tiny for me since im 6' 3" 380 pounds. I feel the stryker will be a better route
Strykers turning is a slugist but it takes off much much much faster than the shadow its a little heavier to but honestly you wont notice the weight difference.
"..to speed, if you wanted to." LOL Nice save at the end there Sean.
Is it for sale still
Does it vibrate like crazy at highway speeds like a lot of cruisers seem to?
oh ok, guess ill just have to start test driving
This is a honda, it does not vibrate as crazy. =-P
Is this a US model only? Cant seem to find any Phantom variants in EU :/
You will but not until november ( at least in Poland )
They are called black shadow in EU as far as I know.
Tnx for Sharing some good review …
Got some Suzuki’s and Kawi ..Anyways i’m really gonna buy one 750 honda..anyways it’s not the bike you riding,it’s where you going
Which bike is better for beginners that one or the V*650 classic
I have never been on a v650 before but I own a Phantom and I LOVE it. Its not the fastest bike but it feels so damn good to ride
Thanks. Is it good for entry level
@@valleyviewchurch2737
I would say yes. Its not super expensive and it requires very little maintenance. I imagine any Shadow 750 would be a perfect first bike
Thanks. I appreciate it.
hey man I know you recommended this bike for my needs. does it matter if it's the Phantom edition or does it have to be just 750
The Phantom is just different trim package (paint, wheels, and drag bars.) As far as ride and handling, any shadow should be similar, go for the trim package that pleases you.
If you like black the Phantom is definitely the one you want. I like how the motor and bars are all blacked out.
Great video! Seems like a cool bike!
One word of advice - get yourself some gloves! Never know when you may need them
He didnt make that clear enough is it new or not
will you ship to Canada?
Daily a shadow phantom track yamaha r1 on the weekend
Saw this in the Honda shop, I'm 5'6" so this reminded me of the 70's harley low rider feel. Why would you limit it to backroads, can't this make it easily on 150 mile to cross country trips? Right now I'm riding an 01 suzuki marauder vz800. I like low profile bikes.
+Sean Kerr true, but I'm still worried about buying it and then feeling like I got a dirt bike. Really wanted an 1100 but this looks sooooo nice
+Sean Kerr too big. Need a lower profile to fit in tight spots for parking in my neighborhood. Shadow spirit 750 maybe. Older one. $6000 phantom came to $7600 with tax and prep. No way.
Im 5'6 as well im just looking for this bike just to go from point A to B how was the fit for you. Was it big¿
Is the bike still available by any luck?
+Anthony Bermudez sorry it sold
Good video. Much appreciate the effort.
how reliable are honda shodows?
sources say Honda on motorcycle build a bulletproof engine
well,95% there was a issue with 2013 usa hondas shadows, with inside petrol tank paint peeling,in very very hot tempatures.cuzin flooded carbs when standing long time parked.as im aware thats only problem there his.
I wouldn't call this a beginner bike, although I would of course have loved to have it as my first bike.
I am getting ready to retire in a few weeks and am considering this as my first bike. Reviews have been encouraging.
how is it on Insurance? cheaper than an r6?
wayyyyy cheaper
I paid 100 dollars for an entire year on one lol
Where was this filmed???? I want to live there lol
My 15 shadow vibrates like crazy at 65+; the mirrors are almost useless. Was that your experience on this or anyone else's?
My 2015 Phantom has front end wobble between 40-55 mph but smooths out above 55. Trying to figure out if that is normal or if I have a problem. No problems here with mirrors though.
No wobble from mine. I think the vibrations I have are from the exhaust. When stopped at idle the bike shakes a bit like a Harley. I'd post your situation on reddit.com/r/motorcycles and see what people say there.
i think your wheels are out chum..or balances.at 45,they shudnt be at even 80 mph.
Definitely makes a good noise for a 750 v.
Would this bike fit a taller guy...say 6 ft 4?
+Sean Kerr any idea of what kinda bike would be good for me.
+Sean Kerr thanks dude!! u just got cho self a subscriber!
is this bike capable of short highway riding with the lady on the back?
Yes
How bigs the lady?
Boy I sure wish I could buy that 750. Im in Canada & had to pay 5g's for a 2008 650 vstar.
They could rename this bike the " default ride setting" bike 😂🤣😂
do you think i could ride that with 5'6"?
nice video either way^^
heck yes you can!
heck yes you can!
heck yes you can!
stntmn7964 great! couldn't find good cruisers for shorties
