Another beauty.. you are so generous sharing all these wonderful fast and cute ideas... so many quilts,, so little time..LOL Love your way of making us feel that your here for a visit with us... showing how to do this... not "preaching or acting" to us...Your like a very sweet caring friend, Jenny... thanks for being YOU..
I've been quilting for 40 years and still never get tired of it. After *finding* you Jenny I've learned so much more. You've shown me easier and quicker ways to do block designing and creating .. makes me want to make more and more and more! Thank you for being the kind of teacher who is just one of us and making quiilting life even easier and more gratifying.
Love your quilt, I started working on one just like it. Was thinking about a boat quilt for a long time and I like your pattern. I'm making mine in feminine pastels/tropicals, I especially like that your borders are stagarded, it really does add movement.
Jenny, I love that you couldn't find a pin! thank you for quilting like a real person and not like a perfectly perfect person like some other quilt instructors. Finally I can relax when I quilt...and isn't that the point?Thank so much for that!
Has anyone asked about the quilt to the right of the sail boat quilt? It is STUNNING!! Thanks as always Jenny! I just made a baby quilt following your disappearing 9 patch video and the recipient loved it. I am finishing up a tumbler quilt using your 5" tumbler and video and enjoying that too. I truly enjoy your videos and appreciate you doing them for all of us!
I love this happy little quilt and the fact that you are showing so many great ideas for using the 10" hexagon ruler. Congratulations on the new grandbaby.
Aren't you glad the videographer didn't call CUT when you said sail away instead of Salt Water for the name of the line & make you start over, lol? Great job as usual Jenny. You have made quilting so accessible for millions! I was in my sewing machine store yesterday & some little old lady was talking about you & your website. She HATES to shop online due to potential fraud issues but only buys her fabrics from you!! What a fan base you have, maybe you should run for President, lol, lol, lol!!!!
Amazing. I can't buy this in Europe so I made it for my kids, because of you :) . You make everything to look so easy. Thanks a lot MSQC , thanks Jenny :) . (Sorry for my english, maybe is not good.)
I love this idea. I've watched MANY of your videos in the last few days, and each one looks so tempting... but here in Maryland, we're pretty big on sailing, so I think I might take this one on first. Thanks for all of your wonderful videos. I'm a pretty rotten quilter (completely self-taught) but your videos give me confidence.
This is fantastic! My daughter and her husband live on a sailboat with their 2-year-old daughter and 10-month-old son. (I know, crazy!;) What a great quilt this would be for them. Just serendipitous to find this tutorial. Thanks so much!
WOW I love it. That is such a great idea. almost makes me wish my son was little again.... ok so i don't really lol but its so cute. Thank you for all you and your family does for us
I think this quilt would be awesome to be donated to my child's school. They are having Bingo Night to raise fund for the school. Thanks for the idea, Jenny!
So cute - wish I had waited now - I bought Scoot layer cakes and charms along with yardage for the strips to make a quilt for my cousin's boy. Using your Jelly Charms tut. (the one that makes a framed charm block that's 9 inches) It's 81 blocks - am daunted.
Sou sua fã, assisto a todos os seus vidios, pena que nao entendo nada da sua lingua, mas so com o desenvolvimento do projeto ja entendo como faz, obrigada por sua simplicidade, e Deus ti abençoe
Thank you Jenny! I would love to do this quilt! Wonderful Wouldn't this be nice with the Harmony line? and I would use the Koi fish for the border! That is the line my son would like!
Wow! Time travel! It is 7 years later and your grand baby is 6 or 7 years old. If you still see these comments I have a question. Your quilt hanging up seems to have a white narrow inner boarder which you didn’t mention. I guess I need white yardage or strips? Since I have already made the blocks, I won’t wait for a reply. I’ll get by with out the extra fabric unless it looks wrong. We are expecting my second great grand child in July.
Love the quilt! When you add the sashing above the boat, how do you avoid stitching through the top of the sail? There doesn't seem to be any seam allowance.
Hi Jenny, Question - when I sewed my half triangles together for the sails they are not all uniform in size. Should I square them up to the same size before I sew the white strip on either side?
HELP Jenny!!! I need to put together a baby quilt in the next couple weeks and this looked simple enough however I'm not sure what measurements to use. I don't want to stagger the boats as you have done so I'm not sure how many boat blocks to make or what size of sash to use.

That's correct, Gramma Jo, just some yardage cut into 1-1/2" strips or some skinny strips will do great!
Oh, and congrats on the coming great grand child!
Love the quilt! When you add the sashing above the boat, how do you avoid stitching through the top of the sail? There doesn't seem to be any seam allowance.
I absolutely love this tutorial. Jenny your ROCK as always!
But is the fabric line Salt Water by Tula Pink?
It would be cute if you changed the sails from row to row to make it look as if one row was sailing the other way... thanks for all your tutorials!
I will be making this out of Nantucket Summer❤️
