      Sadly....these are the 'levels" of our Police State today....you have the level of cop that will see what you're doing and not even interfere....then you have the level where they attempt compliance until they realize you're not ignorant of your rights....then you have the worst level where they will keep escalating even when they KNOW they are in the wrong....but will inconvenience you (threat or actual arrest) as MUCH as they can.

      It technically is but the laws against abuse of 911 or filing a false police report in most states are worded with so much ambiguity in them that it's almost impossible to get someone charged with it. the system is designed that way (in the US, I mean). for a cop every call means a potential arrest and charges being filed. whith every arrest the wheels of the justice system keep turning, and therefore the wheels of the penitentiary system keep turning. A lot of people feeding from that scheme. It is not in their interest to prosecute people lying on calls, since those lies can throw people under the bus and become arrests. By charging and prosecuting callers lying, you are teaching the callers not to call anymore for fear of being charged. That means less calls, less arrests and charges, less money for the judiciary, less money for the penitentiary, less quota and rewards for law enforcement. The only thing that matters in the US is money, anything else is secondary (if so) to that fact.

    • @bplynch834
      @bplynch834 4 месяца назад

      @xenaguy01 Yes, I know he's retired. However, he's still the best. And any time that Jeff Gray is even told that he's gonna be arrested. He leaves the area and turns his camera off. That's not looking out for the Constitution or our civil rights. That's walking away with your tail between your legs. At least high desert had the balls. And the fortitude. That Jeff Gray does not have. Don't get me wrong. I do like Jeff gray's videos. They're just not aggressive enough like high desert is.

      Jeff Gray presses the cops to tell him if he doesn't leave he will be arrested. Once that happens, he can leave, because his civil rights have at that moment been violated. He can then, and has many times, sue the agency for violation of rights under color of law. When he sues, he takes a settlement of $1791, the year the Bill of Rights was ratified. This amount he then donates the settlements to a homeless veteran's charity. Also included in the settlements is a stipulation that the agency provides civil rights training for all street officers.
      Also, even when he was active, HDCW took a back seat to News Now Houston (David Worden), who was always calm and respectful to cops, no matter how they treated him.

He thought his bluster was going to get you to move and he didn't understand that he ran into the wrong person. This just goes to prove that police officers don't try to improve themselves over the years by educating themselves regarding the civil and constitutional rights of the people of this country. That was definitely a drive of shame. I'm glad you got the body camera footage, your words can't be disputed.
