Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement, RICE. It's an acronym. Nice stereo systems are not race inspired. That is a different animal. Called a Bass head or Audiophile depending on the goal. That's not to say it can't be combined with other types of car enthusiast, it can. Exhaust is something Tuners go after as well. They may not be searching for the sound, instead the performance. That doesn't negate the reality that a lot of performance exhausts are louder than stock. Tuners will often lower their vehicles as well, they just won't be all cambered out. A little camber improves grip though so some can be present on a Tuner car. We also have to analyze what kind of Tuner. Are we talking straight line, canyon carver/track car or drift? So much in this video is just off. I personally never ran in to a person who has removed the turbo for the sound. I've ran in to those that added the turbo for the sound though. So many things off on this video. A Ricer would add a roll bar but you don't think a Tuner would? You get sub 10's and want to drag on a NHRA track you have to have a roll bar or they won't let you. So here we go. I like my car lowered. I like having a stereo system that sounds nice (not booming shaking things off store shelves). I don't do wings. I don't add other electronics, although I have thought of adding some lighting. I don't put fake scoops or vents on my car. I like cars with 60 or lower series tires. One of mine has 40's, one 60's and then the family car has 45's. I really don't go for loud exhaust unless it makes better performance and even then I try to get the quietest performance exhaust I can. I will do some engine mods, I've done swaps, I just don't like going to crazy with the mods reducing the reliability of the engine. I like canyon carving in my cars. So by your list what am I?
A lot of people make "Ricer" sound like it's a bad thing, but personally I don't think it's that simple I like a balance between performance and looks, and personally as long as the driver enjoys their car, I wouldn't mind a lot of people like to force their opinions on other people for ricing out their cars, but that's just what the car owners enjoy
#2, specifically exhaust systems. Are you seriously trying to tell me that a properly tuned vehicle with a performance exhaust ISN'T going to turn heads? 😂 Look, a true "Riced out exhaust" isn't functional. It's just bloody loud for the sake of being loud. A tuner's exhaust can, and often is loud, but that's secondary to its function. Just the same, it turns heads. Also, it can make pedestrians jump when you're downshifting and catch a decent *POP* under a viaduct 😁. Also, turbo noises are simply wonderful. Be it "turbo flutter" or a blow off valve, it's fun! There's aspects of tuner and rice that do cross platforms as it were. Not much is mutually exclusive. For example, performance drifting cars often utilize excessive camber (relative to a street driven vehicle anyway), and it's functional. Stance cars also utilize excessive camber, and it's FAR from functional, lol. I suppose in the end it all comes down to function over form, or vice versa that really defines where your build falls, and that's well insinuated a few times here. I also like to believe that a ricer is simply a tuner in training. Eventually, form isn't enough, and then function starts to become more appealing. Spoken from a former ricer that turned tuner.
at most you'd see a fancy paint job and decals if you actually wanted any performance, and thats basically any race car. Ricers are barely driveable and prone to breaking.
surely a ricer would take a turbo off for sounds! this video is garbo, sounds like a script given to someone off fiver. barely examples or anything, just stock footage with some actual videos of cars. atleast give the definition of ricer.
Are you Team Ricer oder Tuner? Comment down below!
Ill blend both thankyouverymuch
WHO REMOVES TURBO FOR MORE SOUND???? 1:10
A ricer💀💀💀
Makes no sense I don't think a ricer would even do that
@@fizxiy You really think a ricer would keep that Turbo? Might sell it for more ricer parts
@@Cry_later I mean I would hope so
in my case, a marten did
Who removes a turbo for sound?!?!

I'm 75% Tuner and 25% Ricer🔥🔥
It must perform but still look cool
Btw this is a really good video. Earned you a sub. Keep it up man you're doing great

damn i just watched the whole video and realized this guy only has 28 subscribers. keep going my guy
This vid is hilarious. My terbo delete sounds oh so sweeeeet
I want to build a car that has performance but also has some "ricer" type bodywork
Tuners enjoy gutting their cars if its a track build or a drift build. You can shed a lot of weight by just removing seats and all.
I'ma start pronouncing hyperbole as "hyper-bowl" just like you lol
No lie this is pretty off but it does cover some things coming from a drifter

If you combine both into one you get peak performance and great looks.

Dawg went "IM TEAM TUNNER" AND THEN "IM BOTH"
Unexpected pull up is waay cooler than beeing pulled in a disco mofo mobile
Bro are u reading off an article from an out of touch millennial who works an office job?
3:20 "cars with bigger wing are ricers" therefore if you own a gt3 rs ur practically a ricer

We don't like the robot-voice! Hire a human!! Then u will get more likes!
