First saw them live at the International Amphitheater in Chicago in 76. Was there for both shows on Strangers of the Night. Saw them many times over the years. Amazing band
He sounds fantastic! Love this band. I saw Judas Priest in September of 2018. Rob Halford is incredible. He was 66 at the time, old enough for retirement from real life. His pipes were as crisp and powerful as he was 40 years ago. I was absolutely amazed and so happy to hear and see him so healthy. Deep Purple opened and I can't say the same for Ian Gillan. He's in my top 5 favorite of all time singers. He just doesn't have the strength he had. He was 73 at the time so I understand completely. Music does more for recall of great memories than smell does for me and smell is supposed to be the biggest trigger of all for memory recall. For me it's music. I remember such small details about things important because of music. It's hard to explain.
Neil on fire--good to have him back...Agree with everyone else--Phil not only sounds amazing but he dresses well, has amazing onstage presence and banter and looks great
criminally underrated ?? UFO wasnt "criminally underrated" in my circle of friends..by the way "criminally underrated" is an overrated term ...just "underrated" would suffice ..
Sas them in that. Arcade theatre in ST CHARLES DOWN THE STREET FROM WOOD GLEN. IN DU PAGE I JUST DIG THAT LITTLE TOWN AND GET DOWN TO SEE UFO EVERY TIME VINNY KILLS IT MR MOOG TELLS GREAT STORIES IF HES IN THE MOOD THANK YOI U F O WE LOVE YOU ALL MATES AND WILL MISS YOU GUY'S
Really hope they do another uk tour before Phil eventually calls time, saw the last tour with Paul Raymond RIP, love to see Neil on the final final leg in the uk
MAN IAM SORRY it's JUST a TOTAL bloody drag i wont get to go meet up with Phillip and the boys on the river that phill especially loved to sit and have a classic brew or two then on the road to ST.CHRALS ILL. The arcade theater was a COOL PLACE to see this unforgettable great iconic 100PER'CENT ROCK n ROLL GREATS I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU ALL UFO FOREVER FOR MANY GENERATIONS TO COME N COME AGAIN JUST LIKE BON SCOTT SAID
Geez Louise. I love UFO, and always have, but there's like two original members left here, and even Andy Parker isn't on-board with them all the time anyway, he comes and goes, so it's basically like.....just Phil at this point. Granted, it's always been his band, but there were 'moments' in the last 50-some years now, where there were 'better assemblages' of "UFO" than other moments, I'll just say that much. I'm glad 'ole Phil is still around and kickin', but he's only got so much piss and vinegar still left in him to go around.
Man, this sounds so odd without Schenker's mastery and unmistakable tone! It has always been better Schenker playing this with another singer than Mogg with another guitarist..
Agreed! I just watched this for the first time and although its a great rock performance, the main vein isn’t there. Not a criticism at all, as that guy can surely play a tune, purely an observation.
@@michaelrivette8340 true, Vinnie is a great guitarist and deserves all the praise for the effort he put in the band for all these years, but Michael Schenker in 5 years made UFO legendary, that's why the 80 % of the setlist comes from the Schenker's era and THOSE are the songs people want to hear..
This is Rock the way its supposed to be. No lip syncing. Phil and the boys giving it everything they got. God bless them.
went to see UFO in 1978 at the Hammersmith Odeon, London U.K. What a night!

Best band ever
U f o forever
The Vin Man!
Great vid. You have more?
It's Freddie Crugar! Ahhhhh!
I thought the lead guitarist was extremely reserved in his playing. He's a young dude too!
Thecao!
Rip paul Raymond.
Phil Mogg una delle voci che preferisco.
come on Steve Harris from IRON MAIDEN you should comment on this one they inspired you the most .
UFOld !!!😂
Don't look at the video and this could be 1978...the band sounds great
Lol, not at all, in 1978 the mighty Michael Schenker was on lead guitar!!
The original metal of the 70s Michael schneker is a guitar genius
Michael Schenker, too....😉
Phil only from the old line up?
Mike needs to be back in the band. He gave them the distinctive sound..
Is that Vinnie Moore on guitar??!!!!!!

Where is michael?
Only Phil and Andy? Bummer.
I saw UFO on there last USA Tour last night at Mohegan Sun Phil can still rip out the tunes.

I agree with both comments...🤔😯🎶🎤🎸
No Schenker no Ufo
I kinda' feel that way about Chapman.
@@tommyapocalypse6096 Chapman era produced some good stuff though, he seemed a better fit than Moore tbh
Bollocks
sorry mate, but the second solo needs more speed.. nice lick though..
He ain't Michael
Ufo Without shenker is light out
Are you kidding me...not shenker..no ufo!
been gone for a long time

El guitarrista no entiende nada usando esa guitarra que es hermosa pero no para UFO.
Never thought I'd thumb down UFO, but that was just awful. Especially the "lead" guitar.
My boys are. Bad SHURE are going to miss them. To 😥 sad to say more
