- While it’s taken Jose Leos over a year to speak on the death of his child Aiden Leos, who was shot and killed in a road rage incident on the 55 Freeway in Orange County on May 21, 2021, he plans to open a nonprofit to financially help families who’ve been through the same loss.

This was unfortunately the result of Marcus Eriz and Wynn Lee resorting to making a destructive, life-altering decision due to their inability to control their temper.
Watching pain like this evokes a desire for justice. The killer forfeited his life.

I couldn’t imagine losing my 4 yr old son….this one hit deep with me. There’s no way I could leave him alone even in death I’d be right there, giving him a piggy back ride to the other side.

In case anyone is curious (as I was): "Aidan Leos was on his way to kindergarten at Calvary Chapel in Yorba Linda.
Leos’ mother, Joanna Cloonan, was angry that a speeding vehicle cut her off and so she put her middle finger up as that car passed her, prosecutors said. That’s when Marcus Eriz is accused of shooting at the vehicle, killing the 6-year-old boy, as Lee drove away."

traffic is already bad in california, imagine killing someone to save 3 seconds of time, I don't understand people who tailgate when there's one hundred cars ahead of the car you're tailgating
Some people can't look that far ahead . Same people who speed up to a red light just to brake hard and start all over again to the next red light
Exactly they whip past you to get 1 second closer to a red light

Poor guy, if I were him I'd be so pissed at Aiden's mom for flipping off those psychos while their six-year old son was in the car. If you want to get pissed at someone on the road and do something stupid, do it when you're in the car by yourself. Does flipping those psychos off give them the right to kill a child? No freakin' way, but there are so many wackos out there and violent and deadly road rage incidents have been inundating the news for years. It's sickening that Aiden had to pay the price for his mother's immaturity and stupidity.

Those two lunatics deserve the death penalty, but Aiden's mother should have just kept driving and if she needed to flip someone off, she should have her innocent son in the car. Just because I said what I said about Aiden's mother, doesn't make me related to the female. That was incredibly stupid for you to say.
Why would a mother with a baby in the back seat engage in a road rage insident? I hope she feels horrible and never finds peace. She is not better than the the shooter. Had she thought of her son and just let that insident go insteaf of going along with it, her son would be alive.

Not defending the shooter, but this mother pointed the middle finger to the driver of the car where the shots came from. Doesn't justify the shooting, but why point your middle finger at another driver?
isn't it obvious, she too has 'road rage' problems and an innocent child paid for all their tempers.

I can't bear to watch this father's pain. It made me cry. And I'm still crying. What a beautiful six year old...!!!
I used to laugh and thought how silly and stupid road ragers were, but then I found myself losing my temper against a truck driver that pulled out in front of me forcing me to slam my breaks.
Earlier that day, my tenant once again defaulted on the rent and has been doing this for over a year since the pandemic started and I was not able to evict them because of the eviction moratorium, our car (I suspected the dealership sabotaged it as the warranty had just expired and it was still like new and hardly driven, but was called in for a part recall) started having issues and the dealership said it was going to cost $1,200 in repairs, followed by my mom's doctor appointment where she learned that she might have cancer. All those emotions just built up and I literally lost it when that truck pulled out in front of me. No one is immune to road rage even if they think they are, and people do really stupid things when they're raging!
No excuse for road rage. There are people like me who will not deal with that BS even though I used to be a wreckless driver.
The killer drove around with a gun! They were prepared for mayhem.

So sorry that there are animals out there that shoot people for really no reason. So sad that our world is like this it's only going to get worse. It's already real bad due to not applying the laws and letting these animals free to repeat over and over due to stupid laws stating they can't get released because of bail.
