- The devastated mother of 6-year-old Aiden Leos is speaking out for the first time since her son was shot and killed in a road rage incident on the freeway in Orange. abc7.la/3ueDZ2D
i heard that the mother drove up to the other car to flip them off, if that was the case, then she is partly responsible for her child's death. Why would you risk something with kids in your car over something so trivial. The anger will pass after a moment, the consequences of actions taken under anger is forever.
No, The killer was responsible for murder. If the grieving mother of the dead child did flip them off, still, no one deserved to die. The killer is a very sick individual, the companion in the car may very well be a family member/hostage. I've noticed that provocateurs- gossips-troublemakers- never claim to know something themselves to be true, instead, they'll say " I heard....blah, blah, blah". We've all used poor judgement, at some time. Shocks and saddens, no matter what the chain of events, It does no good to judge and cast blame on the mother, her loss is enough punishment. And if you actually read what i said carefully you will see i said "partly" responsible. Arbitrary laws may not hold her "harmless" actions accountable, but logic and inner human disposition clearly points at extremely poor judgement and emotional control from the side of the mother that led to her child's death.
Yes she has suffered, but it doesn't change the fact that had she displayed some emotional self control, her son would still be alive today. And looking from other comments and the likes on my own comment, it proves that others are honest enough to admit it as well, instead of absolving fault from the mother.
Perhaps if she too was being honest with herself and learned from this tragic incident to master her emotion instead of being a slave to it and not put her other children in danger in the future.

Sign of the times. You drive too slow, tailgate, switch lanes in front of someone with or without signaling and people take it personal. Best rule of thumb is not to react. Half of the drivers are on drugs and/or have a miserable life.
Takes two parties to escalate the situation, they didn't go around shooting every slow driver they encountered. Mother had a part in it and we all know it.

From what I'm hearing, it was the mother who provoked this 'road rage incident ' by flipping someone the middle finger. This doesn't justify what happened but there is always more context than what the news media tells us.
i mean what does this context really serve? a middle finger is ultimately just a finger, shooting a car with a kid inside it causing the kid to be killed, is different.
I feel for the family, but why would an adult with a kid inside her vehicle show someone the finger? A lot of crazies out there that take that very personal. She will have to live with that.

I live in Los Angeles and NEVER flip people off for this exact outcome. Of course they shouldn’t have shot at her car but if you live here you KNOW not to escalate things and engage in road rage because this can happen. This will be a heavy burden for her to carry.
This kid is just extremely unlucky. The other driver only fired one shot. Probably just to warn them. But that aimless blind shot happened to kill the boy.

You know what irritates me the fact that the mother Escalated a road rage by driving recklessly while knowing her kids were in the back seat. They cut her off so she cut them off. She also proceeded to flip them off. as a mom she failed them if your going to be irresponsible do it alone, not with your babies In the car. TMZ said she flipped them off. It was 8am so they probably hit Monday morning traffic. I am thinking the same thing. Their Go-Fund me is interesting. This is why I do not mess with crazy drivers. I would rather be late and behind everyone.
@Ocean It's a tragedy, but it is a reality of living in America. Nine people died in San Jose because one guy decided he had a bad day. It's a scary country to live in. Unfortunately, we have to be proactive not reactive.
@Ocean All driving courses teach you not to engage with people experiencing road rage. Just ignore them. Don't even make eye contact. No honking. Just drive away or let them pass.

I think she needs to be honest about what her participation in the road rage- it takes two parties to have a road rage incident, and typically once incited, the victims really play that card hard.

It's just a matter of time. There are thousands of cameras recording you that you never know about, especially on a California freeway. I would bet that they already know which vehicle it is and who it belongs to and now they are just trying to get more evidence before making an arrest.

The shooters got a big problem....Someone was in the car with him...That means she's going to prison as an accomplice if she doesn't rat him out...He knows it and she knows it and he's going to have to do something about her and she knows that! According to an EARLIER REPORT, she(the mother)apparently gave a "RUDE GESTURE " to the OTHER driver after she was "cut off"🤔. THAT apparently was the REASON for the incident🤔. However, the mother and the MEDIA isn't telling THAT SIDE of the matter😠🙄. Now her little boy is dead😪.

As state of California releases dangerous criminals from prison every day. Crime will increase. Citizens and tax payers come last.
America is broken...we are killing each other with guns. I too lost a son so my heart breaks for this family at the senselessness of a young boy's death. Why do we as Americans accept guns as a solution to minor disagreements? In response shootings in Australia the citizens voluntarily turned in their guns(650,000 of them) murder and suicide numbers then plummeted. We are not a caring country. There are more laws and restrictions limiting driving and drinking than there are for buying and using a gun. We as a country are sick and this should never be accepted as a normal way to live.

Example Cops: Do this. After point of the incident, drive 67-74 mph on freeway. till nexts exits then, then you’ll have exact timeline, how mins or seconds check cameras on traffic lights signal for shooter?

-If they kept on going on freeway till ( 91 East ) there should be a checkpoint of surveillance cameras watching highway? So start from incident and drive 67-74 on that highway, till that checkpoints then you have around the exact minutes and second of that checkpoints cameras?
-But ( 91 West )I am not should about there checkpoints cameras but if they are there?

A: Have one cop drive 72-74 mph, after where the incident happen and then drive to nexts
exits or checkpoints on highway cameras?
B: But have another car follow the first cop, but have seconds cop going 67 mph behind the first cop. So when both exit you’ll have estimate of timeline to check surveillance cameras on the traffic light.
But if shooter was driving 80-85 mph because what they done, then add third cop to A-B example or just take way couple second from from first cop example (A) to estimate a timeline?
Then now, write down time of the each exit or checkpoints on highway time you both cops got to.
Now you have estimate of timeline. When she call 911 at 7:XX am, and
now can add A-B example of the times of cops got to those exits with cameras on the traffic signal lights or those checkpoints on the highway with cameras ?
Then you can find the shooter a lot faster now?

She was cut off my the driver then she flipped them off. My guess the driver slowed down just to shoot her from behind
The mother has some blame to this, is she would of just let it go and not road raged at the suspects this wouldn't have happened. Im sure she will feel some guilt for the rest of her life

@@3yearsago287 this reminds me of a song by Q Strange - BadDay.. I would understand if it was a random shooting. But a road rage. There has to b y the other person when into that rage. N if she cause it. Then it's her fault. N now she paid with her son life.
This is why I always get on the case of my quick to react 23 year old son... if he is in the car as I am driving, and another driver is acting stupid or aggressive - his first instinct is to mouth off, yell out the window, use rude gestures. I try to teach him that those types of things can bring dangerous reactions from unpredictable drivers. You just gotta keep your cool, not react, people get crazy lately, more than ever.
Maybe the mom will learn her lesson.
