@@khushbuninama3727 You should keep it in the fridge and this kind of thing typically lasts up to a month (though I suspect it'll be long gone by then haha). Just make sure to use an airtight and sterilized jar.

Let sit at room temperature for 30 min. 8. Transfer into sterilized jar and sprinkle sugar on top 9. Leave 1 day at room tmeperature and 2 days refrigerator. So 3 days altogether 10. Serve the lime slices with mint, sparkling water and ice cubes. Enjoy!

It is because the white part rind in lime or lemon. I have ever made it aand it turn out bitter too, maybe next time try with just lime/lemon pulp and zest only, no white rind part and seed
Likely because of the rind or any leftover seeds. If it turns out bitter, you need to add more sugar. Alternatively, you can use honey instead. Because honey is so sweet, you just need enough to cover the lemon slices and let it sit in the fridge for two days, shaking the jar 2 times a day to make sure the lemon juice seeping out of the lemon slices gets well mixed into the honey. I don't find it to be bitter when I use honey instead of sugar. You know it's ready for eating if the honey turns very liquidly and loses its viscousity. Typically most people use it for tea but I love making it into a honey lemon soda :D

Yes, people have been saying the same. I suggest peeling the rind off completely
