To those who are saying he’s a bit too much sterilizing his lemon by scrubbing too much with baking soda. That process isn’t actually sterilization. Sterilization means using chemical or heat or gamma rays and other agent to kill microbes. What he is doing is probably removing pesticides and or wax. And to those who wants to try this out you can actually skip that part. Wax is almost on every fruits and vegetables. Fruits have waxes as their protective covering from microbes and pests. But some farms actually coat additional wax to their harvest to ensure longer shelf life. And those waxes are of course food grade. For the sterilization of mason jars, you can also skip that part. Microbes cannot proliferate and thrive with that high concentration of sugar and acidity (low pH). As long as you have a clean jar you’re good to go. But I recommend soaking your produce with diluted vinegar and baking soda to remove pesticide residue. Enjoy making your own tea!
It also removes the bitterness of the rind.
Thank you for that detailed explanation. You answered every question in my mind while watching this video :)
Avea Illium oh I didn’t know that. But the acidity from the juice will be enough to neutralize the bitterness of the rind.
Danielle Does Tarot no problem.
@@norespineli3839 No it won't. It will still be bitter and will get spoiled much earlier.
When life gives you lemons, treat them like this person did.

To people who think the cleansing part as extra or tedious...not everyone might be getting all kind of fruits or vegetables all year long..so we generally go for pickling process. That way we can get things all year round. Or may be one might not be able to use so much amount at a single time so this way can be used over a longer time without wasting anything or rottening.
And basically for pickling you have to be careful about sterilizing your jars and proper cleansing of food products. Otherwise it may catch fungus!
this is like COVID-19 cleanliness. sanitize everything!!! 😂🤣

This is how to make ginger lemon tea in difficult level
Hahahahahahaha
Lmao
😅😅
Just in case you want to make something easy the hardest way possible 😅
😂u nailed it!
For those not understanding
First sterilise the container in which ur gona store it, like Mason jars in this video, by boiling them in water
Take the ginger, soak in water, keep it aside(to remove the dirt)
Then take the lemons, dip each one by one in water then scrub off the dirt and impurities, first with salt, n then with baking soda, immerse in water, add vinegar. Keep it aside
Wash take another container, keep the lemons one by one in that, add fresh water to give a final rinse
Then remove lemons, thinly slice them, remove the seeds
Chop ginger finely
Take ur Mason jars, first layer of lemons, then middle has ginger, than top it off with lemons again, add honey 1400gm here, one by one in both Mason jars. Seal em off
Store for 3 days at room temperature
N it's done
When needed
Add boiling water to a few lemons n concentrate
Njoi ur drink
Bushra Shaikh how long can we store it for and room temp still?
.
Ah...nevermind.😁
How long we can store it
At room temperature...
That was a very lovely process to watch, reading the comments I see many negatives on the cleanliness however, I think taking the few extra steps will lead to a much longer shelf life of the product.
Thank you for sharing this 💛
Yess i absolutely agree with you
Seriously, those are the prettiest lemons I’ve ever seen!! This is very labor intensive, so I won’t be trying this, but boy would I love to have a cup!!😁😁
@Nicoletta Ciccone agree! Let's go back to basics.
Potions class in Hogwarts. Lesson one: honey lemon ginger tea. *Insert spooky music*
:-)😃
I would never realize it myself 😅
Would love that
I just wanted to say Thank you for sharing this Recipe and please in the future don't ever delete this. I have made this last spring or summer 2020, it took me a day to finish the whole process (I'm slow, accepted). After drinking a bit, due to the weather I had stopped. Then now its almost a year and had fermented a bit when we opened the jar, the lemons became jelly like, the honey became watery but guess what I still love love love it. so Thank you for introducing this to us. I really love the effort placed on making this from scratch and everyone in my house appreciates this tea.
If I may cut the cleaning procedure I'll go buy everything organic! Just saying😊. However I've been preparing this concoction for 8 years and I usually remove or peel the lemon skin if they're not organic. Same with ginger. At any rate thumbs up to this video for the effort of demonstrating how to be hygienic in food handling!!!
I had to like as soon as I saw you cleaning everything.
고맙습니다 이영상 덕분에레모차만들수있었어요
If youll brewed green tea in & add this mixture.... perhaps you will feel in heaven... refreshing yet heslthy
By the look of it seems like it will be good to taste will definitely try it. But what I loved the most is they way person sterilised everything be it the jar, lemon or ginger. Amount of love and passion and preparing something can be clearly seen in this. By far the best DIY cooking video I have seen. Loved it and surely trying it this weekend 😍
Love the music. Very relaxing. The whole video is a joy to watch.
I just tried this it is so delicious and especially on a cold winter day please keep these coming I enjoy them thank you
This video is hypnotizing. It’s actually calming me down after a busy day
i drink absurd amounts of lemon-ginger tea in the winter months (which is like half of the year where i live), so i definitely need to give this a try... if i survive the apocalypse.
I have heard that ine should'nt drink too much fresh ginger tea. How much wpuld you say is too much?
I like the way u clean the lemon and the ginger.. everything so perfect, soothing music, perfect video.. i subscribe immediately. I will make one like you do. Thank you so much for your effort sharing this video to all of us. Keep sharing and healthy. All the bestt yaa.. thumbs up
아따메 외국 친구들이 많이 오는 곳이네요! 제일 간단하고 무엇보다 생강을 잘게 안써셔서! 이걸 따라하렵니다! 감사합니다!!!!
I like this every step of cleanliness because food matters
I make ginger honey tea all the time. I boil the ginger and fridge the ginger tea when I want a cup I warm the ginger tea squeeze some lemon into it and add a teaspoon of honey . Really good👌
That's a long ritual with a lullaby background music , can't help but fall asleep before the video was finish.
That ginger looks fresh..
wow that was the cleanest lemon ive ever seen
Yep, just what I thought. Clean, slice, put in jar, add honey, and wait 3 days. Got it.
I just started drinks hot water; ginger & lemon with a dash of cinnamon. Here’s to good health ☕️
This has a halloween vibes to it but idk why. The color? The music? The extra lighting? The dimness of the video?
Wow...you are so professional...I didn’t know making tea took so much work! But I can see you’re passionate about it and I bet your tea tastes amazing!! It was a lovely video to watch! So calming 😊 💕
Very pleasing to senses, thank you. Nice job. 🍋💌
So relaxing to watch. I'm gonna try this recipe. Thanks for sharing.
I've been doing this concoction for a month now, I like to add fresh mint from our garden, it tastes great but I personally prefer it with tea. It goes well with warm tea and some cookies in the morning 😊
hi Heizel, do you continue to keep them in room temp or fridge after 3 days ? And how long did you store them ?
This is mystically relaxing 😌 somehow helps with insomnia & anxiety
I went to eat Korean food the morning after celebrating a friend's 21st birthday and had a hangover. The waiter at the restaurant made me some tea because I was feeling so sick and this helped so much! And having a bit of salt on my rice 😅. Shh! Don't tell him I did that. He hates that!
After the honey lemon ginger is done macerated and the jar is opened, how do we keep it? Do we let the jar in room temperature (just put the honey lemon jar somewhere in the kitchen) or do we put it in the refrigerator so it stays in good condition?
If it's alright to be in room temperature without needing it to be refrigerated, how long it stays good? I plan to make this and give it for my mom so I need her to know how to keep this properly too. Thank you
Store at room temperature for 3 days.
After that, keep it in the refrigerator.
I'm sure your mother will love it..
Thank you for watching. :)
@@kozy5637 thank you for replying! I'm so gonna make this soon hahaha. Thanks again!
How long it stays good even if you keep it in the fridge?
코지kOzy Thank you for the video. I also like to keep my lemons clean 👍🏼
How long would it stay fresh if kept in the refrigerator?
Thank you so much. Ms Kozy how long will it last in the frig. Please and thank you
I love Honey Lemon Ginger tea. But what I just witness, I don't have the patience
Muy curioso, y pensar que desde hace 2 años ya se hacía y no sabíamos que ahora en 2020 sería muy indispensable este té de limón gengibre y miel . Felicidades
Wow, this is so awesome for building one’s immune system...and delicious too 👍🏼👍🏼🍋🍯
Looks great and therapeutic to make too! 보자마자 마음에 들었어요 😍
Patience is a great virtue.
THAT MADE ME VERY SLEEPY WITH THAT LULLABY MUSIC & THE LONG DRAWN OUT PROCESS OF IT ALL & I'LL JUST PUT IT ALL TOGETHER IN LIKE 5 MINUTES & MAKE AN AMAZING TEA! CHEERS!!!
Such a beautiful video presentation! I'd love to try to make this Lemon Ginger Tea! Thanks!
U could just soak in salt n baking soda. Then gently rub. Saves some effort I think.
me: "honey lemon ginger tea" sounds good, i can make this later.
also me: wAIT--
X2
How long will this last in the refrigerator for?
Was the first 6 minutes of this just washing lemons and peeling ginger? Or was there something particularly necessary about the process?
birdhead73 they have to clean the lemons because they’re imported. As they’re imported, they’re exposed to several chemicals and such. Taking that extra precaution is definitely a necessity. (:
Okay lol.! ! !🍋🍋
That’s Real .! Lol 🍋
to remove the bitterness of the skin.
It is supposed to be relaxing too , not just a recipe
The part where using the salt is to remove any possible wax
What a wonderful preparation! I thanks for sharing!
I have to like this video because I love LEMON 🍋 EVERYTHING, so I will make this with scientific perfection, just as you’ve demonstrated here! Thanks 🙏🏼 🥰for sharing this 🍋.🍋🍋🍋💕
This video was so satisfying to watch. So relaxing. Thank you 😊
All about the cleanliness but the music gives it a Hannibal Lechter vibe.
I just love this video...looks sooooo soothing and for calming down a stressful day.....just wish the actual recipe was also in english...although watching the video takes no genius...buuuT having a translation wouldn't be a bad idea...plzzzzz 😊
Really fantastic.........thanks.......👍🏼
Ah ... finally a RUclipsr with a good knife and good knife skills!
Loved watching every step. Thank you.
WOW, You blew my mind!
those are some beautiful looking lemons istg 🍋 the color itself is making me feel content for some reason
Yes 👍, se Mira difícil de hacer, pero es una sola vez, para varias tazas de delicioso té de ginger con miel y limón, vale la pena el esfuerzo! Mil gracias 🙏
I ❤️ the whole process they took
Clean, neat, deliberate
Beautifully done !!!
Peeler is the best way to peal any vegetable or fruits !!
Mine is just quick. I squeeze like half of lemon and put in a tumbler then add thin slices of ginger about 2tbsp then honey to taste. Then I add boiled water. Closed the stainless tumbler and leave it for an hour. Then I have my lemon ginger tea.
unless ginger is organic, it has alot of pesticides...everybody should be this clean in their kitchen
It's awesome if you drink it up in cold morning 👍😌
A long process to make but,i enjoy to watch and the music so relaxing.
Mashaallah..wonderful tea/wonderful drink☕☕☕☕☕☕
Such an inspiring and relaxing video. I have a stupid question... how much time we can keep this recipe?
I am farmer i can say by looking that your Honey 🐝 is original.
How can you tell..I'm curious to know 🧐
@@neharoxx1
By experience, 😊We have a pollination bee farm.
@@ksdann2941 that's nice 😄 I wanted to know how can you tell by looking at it..what makes pure honey stand different from unoriginal one visibly 😅
@@neharoxx1
The texture was good, and the actual thickness of honey. I got feelings it's real 😎
@@ksdann2941 alright thank you
The music made me sleep.
I usually do this at home ☺️ and this one is a great tea,...
I add some turmeric too with the infusion ☺️ Great to prevent colds and flu especially nowadays with our current situation
I sometimes add a dusting of cayenne pepper if I have a stuffy nose. It clears everything up.
Those are the prettiest lemons I have ever seen!! 🙂
Salute u sir/mam for ur intricate steps. Patience at its highest level. It does pays off
Thanks for sharing this. You showed us how to make those and also how to clean them. That’s very smart and I love it.
I like the processor very clean
Clean the Lenon with Salt.. I like.very smart.
You just made feel so exhausted.
Really love this!! So fresh and healthy! 💛
Loved this! The cleanliness, the prep, the music! It was very relaxing to watch. Hope you can add some English subtitles later. 🧡

Wow, this is an awesome share. I always drink this ginger, lemon and hiney every morning and it really makes me feel better. This is a delicious drinks and super healthy👌👌🌹😊
I love all cleaning processe!!
That’s probably very good mixed with hot water and tea when you are sick and not feeling well 😙
Looks really good
Where was the tea? Looks amazing and loved how clean he is.
After watching this video, I feel so dumb..
All this time, I was thinking that all you have to do is to boil water with ginger and then squeeze the lemon and add honey.. Lmao..its done.. I was so wrong.. 😂😂😂
Lol 😅
That is also a way to make it. This is the 'zen method'. There is no one way to make tea.
Rod P zen method? Whats tht
how long can you keep the jar for. does it have an expiry date ?
I made mine 6 months ago. The rest of the 2 jars left look and taste like the first time I use them. I think they can last for years.
Kirivan Yam thanks !!
www.marinhomestead.com/recipes/fruit-veggie/lemon-ginger-and-honey-in-a-jar-cold-buster/
This the recipe I followed
As stated by Pagan Ravens in the comment section it can last indefinitely if refrigerated or a year in the pantry if keep at cool to room temperature away from sunlight.
this is soo aesthetically pleasing 💛
I can sleep watching this
Question :
1. Can you aged that more than 3 days? Will it be much better?
2. I thought not to serve honey in hot drink? Hot water will take off all the honey goodness. No?
3. That finished product, do you keep it in fridge or room temperature?
May I know the shelf life? will it be good for months or a year?
Sounds natural so soothing
This was such a beautifully relaxing video. I am going to make this.
I was watching and my eyes were about to drool. Such a lovely video
영상이 너무 색감도 예쁘고 무음 설명도 찰떡인데 소리가 은은하고 잔잔해서 졸음이.. >_
thank you for sharing this idea, I will soon make more of this as gifts ...
Canning 101. The lemons are washed with baking soda and salt to remove chemicals since they won’t be peeled. You have to sterilize the jars before filling for longer shelf life after sealing. The jars must be complete dry inside before adding the product to prevent mold.
The perfecr version for this summer. I refer to drink with some ice cube.....Thanks for sharing
Family's probably in the hospital suffering from dehydration waiting on this tea 🤣🤣🤣
😂
I made it, and the teast so good
