Yes it is😊 does loui have a RUclips channel As well? I would like to follow her too?
Adventurertimelouie is her❤!
It makes me happy to see you have found a friend with common interests who also has a dog friend for Rocko. 🙏
7:25 William is such a gentleman. Rocko getting out her frustration from being stuck in the van when she knew she didnt need a stupid rope to climb that cliff!
Loui is seriously a sweetheart. What a smile! It's nice to see you enjoying life with a friendly friend.

@@forestyforestThanks for sharing her site. I’m looking forward to having another fun channel to watch.
Oh I do love seeing you have other humans to play with. It just amplifies the fun when it goes right.
😜
Oh I do love the way you play with English *chefs kiss*
I Was thinking the Same thing...Love Simon & His Channel...But I Get Lonely For Him...
Rocko's face at that window 1:41 ... Like what the hell!
It makes me smile to see you 2 together again. :)
Woooooo! Love that you and Louie are finding things to do together!
Oh the stories I could tell about that canyon, I've lived in this area 63 years, there is a rock house where a man lived for over 50 years. Some people destroyed parts of it. Very sad about the disrespect of humans leaving garbage. My mother grew up in that canyon. My grandmother had a store there. Lots of history. Stop at helper museum 👍
Yes!!
Foresty Forest is one of the best things on RUclips!!!
I enjoy FF as well. Can you articulate why you enjoy FF? I've produced 180 adventure videos and have failed to gain any traction with followers, your insight will help, I'm tired of failing and need some viewer insight.
Climbing is the perfect new hobby for you to take up. It should unlock some even crazier summits and places to explore for you!
Was just about to say the same thing. This seems like the logical next arc in the Foresty Forest story.
Should be awesome eh!
@@forestyforest Looking forward to it!
Too bad for Rocko
I really appreciate your honesty about this adventure. Your authenticity makes watching this video so inspiring!!
ngl when Loui referred to you as Simon, I was like "Who the hell is Simon??" I've literally gone these passed few years believing your name was actually "Forsesty Forest" (and not even thinking twice about it) 😅
Anywho as always it's great seeing you enjoy nature (particularly in these new ways) and also appreciate you taking the time and effort to document and share it with us!
As a climber, I'm super happy to see this addition to the content on your channel! 😀
You've come so far Foresty. I remember watching your videos when you were living in an unfinished van and working during the day at a recycling plant I think in Edmonton. Through all there's an authenticity about you that hasn't changed and really shines through. Steve Wallis (and now Loui) are the only ones I follow, and also share that authenticity. When you were picked up by the Mexican cartel while cycling through that country, and held by them, I think that's trueness shone through and likely saved your life (they realized you were whom you said you were and let you go the next day).
OMG two of my favorites together again!
Good afternoon Simon and Loui ... and thanks for sharing this fun video Simon. It is great to watch you two learning about each other. Have a great weekend.
So great to see you both happy. 😊 it’s in the eyes. ❤
Pretty obvious…. But in true forest style….
Duuuuuude! I love that you've found climbing! It's one of my most consumed categories on youtube, and now I get Foresty climbing! Merry Christmas to me! I can't wait for the next videos even more now!
Something to consider in troubleshooting your van using sound: A u-joint spins as fast as your driveshaft, a wheel bearing spins with every rotation of the wheels. Listen to the frequency relative to speed. 9:59
It brings a smile to my face every time I see Loui on your channel.
What is her channel? Please 😊
Rocko is trying to get William! Doesn’t realize he could eat her in one bite.😊
That’s What my Yorkie does to my malinois!😅
Beautiful pace for Rock climbing! Y’all have fun!
Yorkies are sure they are bigger than Great Danes!
Tails are wagging...that's good
Loui is a great Companion Please do more of these collaborations. Hope Rocco is also enjoying the company
I think Rocko takes her play a little more serious than William. She seemed intent on showing "I could have had you're jugular. See?" And Williams vibe is more like " So when do we eat?"
Yea...And you know those MEAN Pitbulls 😅 Pitties are the Greatest had them All my life. ❤
Leave it to Rocko to go all Honey Badger on William like he's a pomeranian 😂
Haha.. I've been called a Honey badger before 😅

Climbing is one of those things that opens up a huge number of peaks on Vancouver Island here. So many are capped with 20, 30, 40 feet etc of rock on the top that needs ropes. This will be a great addition to the channel Simon.
You see rocko playing with William and realize that big horn sheep got lucky!!
Thanks!
A like minded friend to share new adventures with. It will only get better from here.
I'm so happy to see Loui and you enjoying some companionship. That's awesome. Love the videos.

I'm glad that you took Rocko for a walk up to the lookout. She looked so sad when you left her in a van. Super happy that you have Loui with you and are not trying to start scaling cliffs by yourself. Beautiful scenery, the sunset was gorgeous.
She? Rocko?
@@xt7190 Yes, Rocko is a girl.
@@cat3crazy I stand corrected, every day a school day, certainly fights like a boy!
I like you using Tillamook Cheese. My hometown, and my family has a rich history in the cheese and butter production in Tillamook, Oregon. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
I always enjoy Foresty's Southern adventures in Utah..
Just so bright and cheery
As a professional mountain guide I’d advise you to take a one day top rope anchors course to understand redundancy, safely negotiating an edge and climb to understand efficiency of movement. Think “use legs” as they’re bigger muscles! Have fun! Climb safe.
Learn how to anchor the belayer properly too. Not like the climbing fail vids on IG. Lol😅
Simon, you should take up fly fishing so you can explore the rivers and streams as well. It's perfect for hiking into remote streams and go blue lining
Foresty, you need to start playing your theme song again at the start of each video. It is destined to become the foundation of our whole society... eventually this music will help put an end to war and poverty. It will align the planets and bring them into universal harmony, allowing meaningful contact with all forms of life, from extraterrestrial beings to common household pets
awesome video! foresty expands his skills! thanks foresty and loui!

I love these collaborations with you and Loui. Looking forward to more in the future. Thank you.
Loui is a very cool, chill person. Nice for you to be able to meet up with some good solid people if you want to no matter where you wander.
Neat to see Rocko behaving like a typical Jack Russell Terrorist. lol. Good to see some nice Canadian content on that pizza, pineapple is a must. Don't make our own often but when we do everything/anything left over in the fridge goes on.
Lol @ Jack Russel Terrorist
If you want to progress quickly with climbing and you plan on staying in one area, I’d suggest finding a local bouldering gym and try to boulder 5-6 hours a week. It will allow you to build technique and strength quickly without the need to haul/store crash mats. Remember to avoid bending your elbows and hang with straight arms, keep as much weight on your legs as the route allows, giving those biceps a rest. Good luck and I look forward to more content!
Utah, vanlife, and rock climbing; name a more iconic trio haha. Glad you're getting into climbing, it's such a blast. And you have a good partner in Loui. Hope those van repairs aren't too expensive...
Loui is that fun friend thats pushes you out of your comfort zone to try something new and exciting, what a great friend to have!
AAAH yes! Winter in Utah, a time when a young man’s fancy turns to love. Better stop drinking that canyon spring water and go back to bottled water before you find yourself dangling from the side of a canyon wall sharing poetry with Loui.
Definitely willing to watch a climbing video or two, but I think I'll much prefer your hiking treks.
Great episode Foresty 😁
It's always great to learn a new skill and climbing really compliments your thirst for the mountains and summits 😀
Both you and Loui cooked delicious looking meals 😋 It's nice you two have joined up again for some videos together 😊
Thanks for sharing the fun with us😁

I'm sorry that your van is messed up again but I'm glad that you had a good time with your new friend
Great Video's... Love Rustic Camping
I'm so delighted you found a kindred spirit to share your journey. Have fun guys!
Great video. She is a sweetheart.
That was a beautiful sunset. Back in the day I was very much into rock climbing. Please be very careful and get proper safety training. It’s not the sport to do on your own without knowledge. I had very good instructors and all but still found my way into a hospital for a couple of weeks and also witnessed some truly devastating falls. It’s a great sport and it took me all over the USA but it’s no joke. Take care
Well said. Best to learn climbing from a qualified guide. Instagram has lots of vids of rock "climbers" not even smart enough to anchor the belayer. I guess they all learned from a friend. The same friend. Haha
Love these Loui-Simon adventures. More pls!!
Thanks for sharing. ❤
Thank you too ☺️
Looked like ideal weather and delicious food! 🙂
Fantastic. Love when you both make videos together.
The scenery is absolutely amazing. Good to see Foresty meeting up with Louie and enjoying activities. As usual Rocko is gorgeous.
Nice to see you expanding your skill set. I used to climb, until I took a fall up in Minnesota in '84. Never felt the same after that, so I gave it up. Thanks for the vid!
Foresty, I think it's great to see you venturing into something new while keeping your adventures authentic. I hope you both enjoy rock climbing. Stay safe and have fun. Time to bring back he patreon, just sayin. Also, I have a feeling 500k then 1M is right around the corner. Cheers!
As always, love your videos! Just be a little careful if Rocko keeps going at William and he's not interested. He may have never hurt a fly, but too much and he could get snippy back. And for his size, that may not be good.
Absolutely right about Rocko and William. Owners should not allow this kind of “play”. Rocko is clearly serious and likely intimidated by William’s size. William could turn on Rocko in an instant.
To be fair, they have showed some excellent play traits in earlier videos. Just like FF said, he needed to get Rocko out to stretch her legs and she was clearly full of pent up energy that William didn't want a part of. I think it's only something to really worry about if she doesn't get her exercise.@@rheumaltz
I have seen some of the earlier videos where William participates but always seems serious business to Rocko not William. I have miniature schnauzers. Rough beard play is the norm. But this interaction between Rocko and William seems different. Owners just need to be watchful.
Love this video with both of you. I do hope that you and Loui get to spend Xmas day together. Better than being alone. Also Rocko would have a play day with William. Thanks foresty for looking after your supporters with great content and amazing views of places that you visit.
Love it when you collab and especially with Loui! ❤
It’s so nice that Rocko has a pal now. William is so patient
That look on the little critters face - heartbreaking. I’d be willing to bet, if Rocko was harnessed in, she’d leave everyone in the dust. 😁
Ohh Mann . what a place ! Thank you Simon , Loui , Rocko and William ....I appreciate you sharing that ..yeah , Utah is amazing !
I think Rocko is having fun having a friend around!
Good friends enjoying good food and the great outdoors. doggo’s included. 👍👍
Really enjoy watching you and Loui. Poor William. He just does not know what to do with Rocko. This video was just great. Hope it's nothing too expensive with your van.
You and Loui have a dope chemistry bro 👥
I had a hunch you and Loui were gonna meet up. You guys make a great team and I love watching these videos with both of you hanging out. Can't wait for more!
Climbing gyms are great for building up good climbing technique. theres super easy routes to start on up to the most difficult routes imaginable. Bouldering is really fun too, less dangerous. It takes some time to build up strength out to your toes and finger tips. Focus on resting your weight on your feet as much as you can. At first its normal to grab tight with your hands and get burned out. Look for a grab board you can mount in the van to keep your finger strength up, quite handy. I've only been in a gym that had holds and sick texture, theres not much rock around here for 5+ hrs down the interstate. I love climbing though.
Hey Simon, John Long (70's, 80's and 90's climber, the Stone Masters) published a couple very short how to books on understanding and building anchors, as well as placing protection called the "How to Climb" series. These books are indispensable when learning the basics of climbing, plus you both share the same sense of subtle humor. Climbing is fun until you fall and break things (sophomore climber experience talking here). But pure rock climbing greatly expanded my reach into the real mountains which is where I think you're headed. Tony, Carbondale, CO, formerly from Crested Butte, and always a fan of your cycling videos!
Thanks, yep picked up that book at REI. Probably going to take a course to make sure everything is going correctly as possible. ✌️
I’ve been enjoying Loui’s channel since you first introduced her to us. The dynamic between you both adds great value to both channels. Spending a winter learning to climb, hiking and generally goofing off in Utah with Loui and William could be a good thing. Happy climbing!
Good to see you with Adventure Time Loui.
That is cool y'all are learning and growing together ✨ William is a gem teaching Rocko her place as well 😂 I'm waiting on Lin to come off anesthesia so truly appreciate this sweet distraction 💖
Congrats on a new addiction. You are going to learn climbing while filming, most probably don’t learn these ropes while holding a selfie stick for our enjoyment. Get after it Simon and have fun.
Two great cooks make one great time. Two great dogs make double the fun. Two great people make great content. Thank you. 😊
Hey Foresty Forest that is so awesome that you’re hanging out with Loui again and that you’re going to start doing rock climbing that is so awesome. Utah is definitely beautiful. Good work on rock climbing 👍 congratulations 👏👏👏 so nice to see Loui and you enjoying together in those amazing places!
Very nice to see you climbing and learning about that. Yes rest at good places. Practise good technique. Try to use your feet and legs as they are much stronger than your arms. Looks like an interesting climb though.
Shakshuka is really versatile. Tomatoes, onions, peppers, eggs and just about any spices you have handy.
If it were a musical composition, it could be called an Impromptu. 😉
You have very strong legs surely but when using the ropes and going more vertical it's time to work the arms and body core. You and Loui and the K9s are fun to see trying new challenges.
2 peas in a pod, Simon and Loui sitting in a tree...
Green River Utah brings back a horrible memory...I crashed my motorcycle there during a Toronto to San Diego, back to Toronto trip.
Thanks for making those memories soothe away into wonderful scenery, nice climbing footage, and a blossoming relationship of the 4 of you.
If you find yourself with mechanical problem in that general area, there is a guy in Hanksville that is a really good mechanic. "Rabbit Brush" is the name. FYI
He's helped me out in the past and knows his stuff.
Dude kudos for getting that far up! That pizza turned out so well!
Hope to see y’all again soon!!
Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like you're enjoying what you're posting a lot more recently, after an understandable phase of algorithm burn-out. I've said it before, but I'll just take the moment to voice this again: my hope is you post what, if, and when you want to. I'm happy to see your content on your terms. It's all appreciated. And it seems like that's what's happening again. I hope I'm correct. Either way, be well, stay safe and cheers!

Great to see you upping your technical climbing game! This will open up lots of mountains, like the ones you mentioned. Climbing is all about footwork, but when you are on top rope the name of the game is “when in doubt, dog it out!”
