The prices on these 20 year old SUVs are absolute insanity. Probably won't be getting one. Anyone that pays over $10k is a crazy person.

Bonkers. In Oregon, 2006-8 with 150k-200k miles are $20k and above. I don't give 2 💩's about resale value if it costs me 2X what it should in the first place

Just bought 190k 1g seq for 2k, runs amazing . So much fun
Got a 2004 4WD Sequoia SR5. Now has 185,000 miles. Paid $4000 for it in 2020. Love it. There have been a few small issues, but they have been easy and cheap to fix. 😊
Got a 211k mile 04 Sequoia for 5k here in Houston. No rust and full service history. New tires, new rack and pinion, and somewhat new radiator.

I picked up a 07 sr5 4wd for $8,500 this month. Wish it would have been 4k like yours but it was still worth what I paid for it.

love these things, just picked up an 06 4wd a few weeks ago and have started messing around with it. can’t wait for future trips with it. we usually tow with my Titan but it’s a lot more cumbersome to park than the Sequoia.
1.Not sure which year you have but 05 to 07 without sealed transmission should be preference. These years seemed to avoid the exhaust manifold leak (eventually loud ticking after 200k)
2. Make sure seller has at least one master key. Price decrease if they dont. The ignition system is top of the line security. Having no keys, a locksmith would throw his hands up or charge more than you'll ever pay for a different key
3. Ball joints are another weak point. Tsb also recommends lower control arms and/or bushings.
4. This a vehicle people like to overprice to all things consider know its worth frok inspection of its weak points

Ive been trying to find a comparison between the 1st gen Sequoia an 2nd gen Tahoe specifically the room on the interior. Having a hard time. Also are these interference engines with the timing belts?
Just piced up an 02 sequoia. Definitely will checkout calipers. Can i just buy calipers desisgned for newer model or is there a conversion process?
I think you meant that only the 2nd gen Sequoia's are non solid rears, not including the Tundras

Facts just picked one up for 9K with 164k miles and interior is better than my 4 year old car
