All Europeans who learn English as a second language say that because I-ERN is not a phonetic combination in many languages. It’s always bugged me because I work very hard to learn proper pronunciation in other languages it’s interesting that others enjoy the sound.

😀Non native English speakers rarely know that the ”r” in iron is silent. It's just another one of those things in life that doesn’t make any sense. The end result of this piece of furniture is stunningly beautiful and the old legs fit perfectly!

Your work is outstanding, as always! The veneer you chose seems so appropriate for this piece. This would be a great piece for a quilter or artist. Those little cubbies would be ideal for all the fancy pieces of trim or other doodads we tend to keep! Socks would be good, too. Plenty of room! Thank you!

Love the way you did the "waterfall" grain on the sides and top of the dresser. This is a very strong and masculine looking piece; especially the hardware. Really pretty and it matches your cat!

The old chest began it's life as a tree. Then it was cut down and became raw lumber. Then it became a mediocre chest. Then over time it became a crappy old junky chest. Then Jay's mastery was applied. Thus, it was reborn as a magnificent chest. Zen recycling--by adding love and magic. Really beautiful work!
Wow! That Brazilian Rosewood veneer is so stunning! That wonderful waterfall effect without the curved corners turned out great. The two-toned handles are beautiful with great texture. And Mondo is still as so beautiful. I love that the two cats get along great too. An overall very bold and elegant piece. Thank you for another great video. Hah! Mando could stand next to that veneer and he'd be invisible! I do love the look - the wood grain / dark colour and the choice of legs gives it a 1970s 'Executive' look, which I really like - almost like an Eames chair.
There is no such thing as too much wood grain.
I am happy to know there are others who are compelled to line up the screw slots in the same direction.

Of all your restoration items, this piece of furniture is by far my favorite. The furniture was very solidly built and you made the right decision to veneer it. I also think it's great that you kept the layout in the top drawers. Now it looks like high-quality, timeless CB2 or RH furniture. If you sell it, you can charge a high price because it not only looks fantastic, but is made entirely of solid wood, which is not a given even for high-end furniture. All I can say is "great"...

Very nicely done. I love Brazilian Rosewood. It has a beautiful grain. The minute I saw the drawers with dividers I thought jewellery. I have a walk in closet with a custom interior. There’s a built in dresser and the top three drawers are for jewellery. They are all divided like this drawer is and lined in velvet. I really like it. Whomever gets this dresser will be really lucky.

I love the wood grain! It’s a beautiful cabinet. I have so much jewelry, I would have left the dividers in all the drawers and put velvet in all the bottoms and made a jewelry cabinet that would finally hold all my jewelry! But few people have so much and most wouldn’t need any more than the one drawer. It was a good choice to make most of it for clothes.❤️🤗🐝

When we lived in Papua New Guinea in the 1970's I made a solid wood table out of 2x6 lumber. It was a native wood species that they called New Guinea walnut. It has a similar wood grain to your piece .and we brought it back to America when we moved. The table is 3x5 feet and solid wood.
Everything about your projects always amaze me. Beautiful craftsmanship and added hardware and legs.
There are always things you make that I think "Oh that would look so good in the lounge", or "That would be perfect in the bedroom", but I don't really think about buying it (if that makes any sense).
But this piece would be be perfect anywhere it could fit - its just so stunningly beautiful. The wood grain is simply mesmerising, all those ornate patterns and never ending swirls, leading everywhere and nowhere, and those feet and handles just look so perfect.
A furniture designer could not have come up with such an amazing combination as this if they thought about it for a hundred years, but you by chance have created this perfect yinyang effect.

What a phenomenal, arresting piece!!! Your use of the veneer is so unique, anyone would immediately see this is definitely one-of-a-kind. Your decision to cut off the "cabinet" and selection of legs and hardware really made the piece. ("Management" seemed to be especially interested in this project. They appreciate your skills too.)
That veneer reminds me of Mondo's fur pattern. Beautiful! No, there is never ever TOO much wood grain; it's the individual structure of the wood's individual beauty. I agree, that grain is so beautiful!! An absolute stunner! I was doing a course on wood finishes with a restorer here in Germany last weekend and when we used the orbital sander on the thinner edges like your drawer frames etc, we were told it damages the sander. The lady did not elaborate. Just for your info, so you don’t mess up your festool sander. They are fancy AF too 😂. Mando knows how to “photo bomb“ your videos with his antics ❤ so gorgeous. I think Mando and Hugo said they wouldn’t mind some catnip with the snacks next time 😆😆

This turned out amazing and I love the waterfall effect of the veneer. Also liked the split screen showing you working on two sections at once. I wasn’t sure about the legs but they work beautifully. The drawer knobs almost made it look like a very fancy radio. Well done!
