      @@LovingTechLife I wish. I don't have such a storage room to turn into a regular room but I always like to see what creative things people are up to. Have aspirations to do so maybe in a future home with multiple (spare) rooms.

    Great video. Amazing your layout is exactly the same as my garage and reasons for converting the same as mine. Thank you for the informative video.
    Out of interest, is this a renovation in Australia. How did you go with building permits and council approvals? Ie class 1, class 10 structures etc.

      Hey @@paulp1802 , no insulation. It’s concrete with an Epoxy coating for protection and some office carpet tiles. I did consider a cork tile but decided against it for budget purposes and I’ve been really happy with this flooring setup.

    Nice job. Do wonder if you wouldn’t have been better getting the paper backed insulation and stapling it to the framing . When you doubled it up on walls and ceiling it would have given you an air gap further deadening the sound.

    • @LovingTechLife
      @LovingTechLife  3 месяца назад

      Hey @@colmbright9822 ! Yeah that might have helped. I don’t have that kind of insulation available where I am I don’t think. However by far the biggest game changer is the Mass Loaded Vinyl.
