I still kept my old 2008 model. IS250. Yep she’s old but the paint is still in excellent shape, only has 130k miles and runs great. She isn’t used as my daily driver now as I have a 2018 Toyota Corolla for that purpose. I still kept my 2008 IS because she has been dependable and regardless of her age she still looks very nice in 2022. The 2is are truly amazing cars.
I still have my 2012 IS350F sport , 107k and runs like a champ had it for 8 years now . I keep up the maintenance and it’s garage kept since I use my company work truck for everything . I since put on it front lip , rear defuser , side skirts , cold air intake tube only and upgraded the exhaust . I been wanting to add the Vline kit to it so I’ll have the car play but not in a hurry for it .
Very nice ride and color. Great video! How was the reliability with the maintenance of the mechanical and electrical services in the time you've owned this car? Did it also have good resell value? Thinking of getting the new IS200T or ES350.
Thank you! I never had any issues with the vehicle other than routine maintenance and changing the tires. It was one of most reliable vehicles I owned and I just wanted the newer technology that the newer models had. I sold it more than what KBB said since I kept my car immaculate and it was pretty much spotless inside. And The ES and IS are both good choices so it really comes down to if you want a more sporty drive or more legroom in the back. The ES does come standard with more safety equipment so it’s really just a matter of preference.

I would have kept that car. It’s more beautiful than any new one. You would have got another 20 years out of this machine.
