To be fair when I was 15, a hairstylist burned my ear multiple times but swore the flat iron wasn't touching my scalp. So I felt with her atitude, that I shouldn't make a big deal out of it. I was shy... And 2 years ago for a silk press, the steam of the blow dry was heating my scalp. I told the hairstylist 2 times, and she said it was to make my roots smoother before using the flat iron. But when it hurts that bad, I don't care about having bone straight hair ! It's not relaxing at all, and I'll avoid that hairstylist in the future You can feel some kind of pressure when someone minimize your pain. Almost like gaslighting
I wouldn’t of payed her! I would of went right to the hospital because I know it burned some of her scalp off and then I’m pressing charges and sueing her for trauma and pain !!!
Pouring the hot water on the scalp is crazy work! Idk the point of styles this extremely tight anyway . Having too much scalp showing throws off a look imo. Like some of their scalps end up like plucked chicken or a braided wig 😢
Thank you sister, I had hair way down my back,as did my sisters. When we became adults, perms hair dye and constant heat, ruined our hair. I went back to natural ten years ago and I love my hair again and it's on my back again. We can grow hair!

U know all these braiding styles are putting more tension on the scalp and follicles. I had to start using ayurvedic herbs to heal my scalp. No more wigs, extensions of any kind for me. The only style I allow is mini twist or cornrows with my natural hair. Since then , for the first time I noticed visible growth on my hair. I think we black women really do crazy stuff cos of hair styles
I used to love braids so much but many braiders braid like they are illiterate. Until I learn how to do it myself I'll be sticking to mini twists when I need a long term protective style.
This is insane. What is the purpose? Rather than take care of your own hair and be patient and get length that way women are paying money to be tortured like this. Sad business. The number of women out there who don't love themselves is mind blowing.
I think she does this for click bait or rage bait. I think she pours hot water on the braids, then warm water on the hair/ scalp. I'm not sure.Because if it's hot water she'll definitely scar her clients. And if the client complains, they will say u don't have tolerance for pain, won't you give birth. Like duh. These styles are the reason, black women have damage follicles, hair loss and stunted growth. A stylist has one time use hot towel to massage my hair after braiding it. It was painful at first but I had to stay under a fan to relieve me of the pain
If she's doing it for click bait, she has to be crazy because she's risking turning away clients. But isn't it crazier that people see these and still go on to book her? We have a problem.
I forgot about this nonsense 😅. My hairdressers never did this style sha. The water is in a bowl and they put the braids in. The vapor is still an issue but why do you pour it directly from the kettle 😮😮. And risk it touching the scalp 😭😭. I'm happy to have this as a memory that's about 3 years old. You can't convince me to go back.
I think one reason why they're not jumping up or leaving is because they've been trained to endure pain and not go against the hairstylist. Holding their head is probably the closest they've gotten to it.
There's definitely something wrong with her. The smiling is unreal. But I just wanna know why her clients don't know that they shouldn't let someone BOIL THEIR SKIN.

It's not relaxing at all, and I'll avoid that hairstylist in the future
You can feel some kind of pressure when someone minimize your pain. Almost like gaslighting
@vmfjae1180 right lol
I wouldn’t of payed her! I would of went right to the hospital because I know it burned some of her scalp off and then I’m pressing charges and sueing her for trauma and pain !!!
Bet when the pain finally stops it is time to have your hair done again
Never ending cycle for some women
"For those that dont speak pigeon" 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the read was top tier (subbed) !!!💕💕😘😘😘
😂😂
I think she said pidgin lol. It's a Nigerian English creole
This is too much for my tender heart. See you next video 😅😅
See you next one!😩❤️
Pouring the hot water on the scalp is crazy work! Idk the point of styles this extremely tight anyway . Having too much scalp showing throws off a look imo. Like some of their scalps end up like plucked chicken or a braided wig 😢
Lmao. It's just all so grotesque.
Thank you sister, I had hair way down my back,as did my sisters. When we became adults, perms hair dye and constant heat, ruined our hair. I went back to natural ten years ago and I love my hair again and it's on my back again. We can grow hair!
Why will the ladies stay put?????😮😮😮 its crazy
Probably because they know the lady is crazy and might do something worse if they try to get out
She has their voodoo dolls probably.
@@actuallyjulieefr because if I did that then my enemies already succeeded 😢
Your responses never fail to make me laugh.
I love yuh so much😂😂😂❤ I feel yo every frustration in these videos. I subscribed bc m here to stay n the roast makes my day n m here for it!❤❤❤❤tell them sis!🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have 0 pain tolerance, I would've stood tf up n left, tf!😂
@@confidencediaries21 thank you 😂😂 welcome to the club, bae.
So we can all see her smiling right?
Whenever I wonder why beeing licensed is a Thing to become a hairdresser and own a salon in my Country...
That's why. That's why I am thankful.
This is torture
And then they wonder why they cant grow hair😦this…this is why.
Are they strapped down?
This thing is deliberate....demons are on the loose gere
This is insane. What is the purpose? Rather than take care of your own hair and be patient and get length that way women are paying money to be tortured like this. Sad business. The number of women out there who don't love themselves is mind blowing.
i seen the title had CLIENTS in it and thought who dumb enough to become a client😂
soo glad i got locs.
Same here 💯
Aiye mi Temi Bami!!! Heyyyy!!!!😳😳😳 Apostle will hear of this!
Apostle has heard and quit his job 😂
@actuallyjuliee 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@actuallyjuliee people will do anything to have a clean and slick braids on their head. They are tolerant to pain😂
Ever since I stop going to salon to make my hair and do my hair myself
My hair has been flourishing and I’m at mid back length
But people continue to go to her 😂 she would never touch my head. Imagine the damage to the scalp and hair.
Aint no way, they stupid for sitting there and allowing her to continue. The other idiots working there are also wrong. She should be in jail. 😡
I wonder if this was ever done to me thinking it was the heat from the steam.
Are you able to stay sitting when somebody is burning you... I think we so used to pain and bad treatment...
They are acting like someone is holding them at gunpoint. Is there something we are not seeing perhaps?😭
I hate this is how i found your channel, but...... Subscribed 🥲
Lmaoo. Well a win is a win 😅
I HOPE SHE IS IN JAIL WITHOUT BAIL.
When you dont know who you are, you will end up in the hands of your enemies
I want those people to get what they give🙌🏾💯🙏🏾
There's definitely something wrong with her. The smiling is unreal. But I just wanna know why her clients don't know that they shouldn't let someone BOIL THEIR SKIN.
Hey julie, im a Nigerian subscriber. Could you talk about the Ghanaian lady who married a popular gospel singer not so recently.
She wore her natural coily kinks for her wedding, and Nigerians (wig warriors) dragged her to kingdom come.
is she still working?
wtf?
