And in that moment, the excitement of a life not yet lived, the hormonal angst and ecstasy of carefree, unfettered youth can be felt again for a fleeting second. Beautifully bittersweet. I find it interesting how I am often attracted to music without really paying proper attention to the lyrics. This is a great example of a song that both sounds good and if you actually listen, can be a source of inspiration.

I'm crying but they're tears of joy and nostalgia 🥰 times had growing up ripping this song loudly with my friends. Time goes on, life changes and these lyrics suddenly have a much deeper meaning which i appreciate even more today.

Oh God. This song pops into my head every few years or so, but I haven't seen the video since I was a teen. I'm sitting here quite misty eyed. Before the livestreaming landscape, social media culture, before smartphones or even RUclips, the advent of being able to see oneself on television at all would have been something you'd tell anyone and everyone about, let alone if it was a band you loved immortalising you in one of your videos forever. It's something that those born after a particular timeframe can only imagine, but believe you me that these kids had their lives MADE when they found out they were included in this. That fact coupled with just the unbridled joy and enthusiasm and complete lack of irony the kids show in this video. When you're a teenager and your so sure that music like this matters and you haven't become jaded yet. "How come it ended up like this...", ain't that the truth.
This video takes me back to when I was 15 and watching this on MTV when that channel actually played music videos. I also remember having a crush on the girl who smiles with her face right up to the camera at 3:57 ha! Wonder where they all are now??

In 2003 me and my mates went to watch feeder at Nottingham rock city me and my mates were 15/16 years old. The band were amazing and came out after 2 encores if memory serves

Not seen this in over 20 years! Heard the song on radio X and remembered all those crazy kids filming themselves so searched it up! I love those kids, so funny! It all came flooding back! The emo girl acting out the lyrics, little baby drummer, the 2 guys with their funny dance moves, the band and their tea break! 😅❤🎶👌🏻

The nostalgia in this is crazy man. Back when people would do lip syncing on MTV and it would be compiled. But this song is something special to me, Gran Turismo put me on at such a young age and I can't stop listening to it.
