A boy introduced this band to me back in 2007. So many sweet and somewhat painful memories are attached to this album. We thought we were in love and in our teenage innocence we truly believed a long distance relationship would work between California and England. May he be well and happy in life xx
This is the only song that gives me a unique feeling..the feeling of sadness, becoming old and being happy... and wishing to go back to a more simple time.
I made a similar comment on another video, but someone pointed out to me they aren't underrated, they are just under known, once you hear them you rate them.
@@24magiccarrot Funny you mention that. I was playing their *Best Of* album the other night when we had friends over, and one of them recognized the vocalist... That, and I realized the lead vocalist has the same names as my brother (other way round, though).

After 12 years since first time listened to this song in a football video, I finally found this song, made me in tears. Bring back all memories of a 16 years old girl. That’s super amazing. Thank you Feeder 😘😘😘😘
That was me today. Heard this song first in Goal 2 and it stuck with me through school. So many memories attached to this song. I rewatched that movie today and this song made me feel 14 again. Such wonderful days
Reminds me of my late childhood, when I was listening to this. Everything was so happy and bright, like now actually. But those days aren't gonna come again
Here from the Arsenal's "new era'' video. I won't hesitate to say that I've never known a band like this existed until I see that video (shows how much I've been blinded by the radio back then). And of course, this song is a masterpiece !
[Verse 1] Feeling the moment the slip away Losing direction you're losing faith You're wishing for someone Feeling it all begin to slide Am I just like you All the things you do can't help myself [Hook] How do you feel when there's no sun? And how will you be when rain clouds come and pull you down again? How do you feel when there's no one? Am I just like you? [Verse 2] Turning to face what you've become Bury the ashes of someone Broken by the strain Trying to fill that space inside Am I just like you? All the things you do - can't help myself [Hook] How do you feel when there's no sun? And how will you be when rain clouds come and pull you down again? How do you feel when there's no one? Am I just like you? All the things you do [Verse 3] Don't ever feel That you're alone I'll never let you down I'll never leave you dry Don't fall apart Don't let it go Carry the motion Carry the motion back to me Feeling the moment the slip away Feeling the moment the slip away So I'm just like you How do you feel when there's no sun? And how will you be when rain clouds come and pull you down again? How do you feel when there's no one? Am I just like you?
This is an amazing song, and Feeder are an amazing band. Opener when they were on stage at Askern Music Festival not too long ago and - with me currently going through a very hard time, struggling with things - I had tears. It's a song about those hard times, and what these times can do to people, and having had a few people around me kill themselves I've seen it all too closely.

This is the first time I have their to be there for a her while now and her children are in kindergarten and I have to be in kindergarten at least one day and I have to their gym and swim lessons and swim swim lessons and swimming lessons and swim lessons and swimming lessons her
Trying to think. How much did I used to play this back then? Put it this way, I'd put it on on the friday and wake up with it still playing on a Sunday morning. Then just smile
