- There is no other esports team in the world like T1.
To wear a T1 uniform is to feel the weight of an unmatched competitive legacy.
And, since 2013, it's meant playing alongside the man who would become the game’s greatest ever.
But despite that success, it hasn’t always been easy to cheer for T1. Because when their era ended… it crashed to a halt.
It’s true that no team can win forever. But for T1 and Faker, the question was for how much longer they could lose. And in 2021, fans were given a glimpse at a new dawn.
And so the greatest dynasty in League of Legends did something else that no esports team had done - they managed an astonishing rebuild with the greatest player ever as their foundation.
The carry that inspired an entire generation of players became a mentor, leading a new class of prospects to glory.
With the greatest dynasty ever behind them, it’s up to Faker and T1 to forge an even brighter future. Faker and T1 set the benchmark for everyone including themselves, but the question now is can they reach it once more?
This is the Story of T1 League of Legends.

If Faker wins Worlds and retired. No one would complain. He did the impossible and he is the Face of the game
I always said to myself after he won Worlds for the third time and then lost to Samsung the following year, "I just want Faker to win Worlds one more time before he retires."
I was never a die hard fan of faker unlike some, there were other personalities that attracted me but I can nonetheless appreciate what he has done for league. I feel like a small part of league will die when he retires.
@@aryanghadge5029 For me it's just pride. I'm not sure if there is any public video of this, but in almost every tournament that SKT/T1 was in (regardless if they were the favorites or not), most analysts would vote against them compared to every other Korean team.
People nonchalantly say Faker is the best player just cause of his outstanding record. But I just want one more win because I don't see anyone ever in league winning 4 Worlds ever again.

It took them 2 years, but the promising Zeus-Oner-Faker-Gumayusi-Keria lineup has finally won Worlds.
I'll cry out loud if T1 wins the Worlds this year. It would be so emotional for T1 fans especially for Faker.
That would seal himself and T1 as the best LoL player/roster in existence, until someone breaks the 4 Worlds win.

biggest problem with T1 fans is they are relentless and flip flop. 99% of them will cheer when they win but HATE when they lose. It's never an in between. True fans are in it no matter what happens.

It's definitely insane how much the organization has accomplished. 3 Worlds, 2 MSIs, 1 All Star, 10 OGN/LCK titles. We'll see just how far T1 can go this year after their 20-0 spring.

They lucked out by hiring Faker, he is the sole reason this team is still competitive. He carried T1 for half of it's life span, they fucked him over for 2 years(2018 and 2019 with retarded roster changes), he was promoted to co-owner of T1 and he built the current roster himself which is now probably the best LCK team.
Through ups and downs of this team, the solid fan of this team has a rollercoaster ride ever since 2013, and i know faker is thanking you for how are u faithful for him and to his team and now they are terrorizing MSI, what a time to be a T1 fanboy ever since
yep...been here since 2013, made me enter to play league, and watched every single T1 game since, i mean this year could be the one, and we are in for a treat, with the new stars rising at T1 we could get the best worlds tournament ever
This video is kind of rush. 2021 was a rollercoaster for T1 fans who support the team from 10 man experiment on Spring to semifinals finish at Worlds. 2021 T1 roster is not born overnight.

Especially since the current, dominant T1 roster was always possible in 2021 but was literally the only iteration that did not see play for whatever reason. 2021 was a mess of a year with questionable coaching, it was not as simple as the video implies, and the 2-3 finish against DWG at Worlds Semi Finals was actually very impressive considering how the team was in spring and most of summer.
2:13 You can just imagine the sigh of relief over Ryu's face when he saw that they didn't play THAT clip on this one.
1 year later, I am coming back to this video. After 7 years since their last Worlds win, 10 years since they hoisted their first Worlds trophy, *FAKER AND T1 WON THEIR 4th WORLDS CHAMPIONSHIP* ❤️.
They were able to achieve greatness once more in 2023.
This T1 is such a fantastic roster and I hope they go to win MSI and worlds this year 🔥
The only reason I still watching lol because I need to have to see Faker raise the Worlds Championship once more. With me, he is my youth, after so many years, although up and down, his desire to lol is the same.
I've been a fan of T1 since 2015, when I started to play the game, and no matter the results, the losses and the sad moments, no one can deny that T1 is the best org when it comes to LoL and Faker is the Greatest player to have ever played this game.

Not only can you commend Faker's skills in LoL, you also have to admit that this is one mentally tough guy. I can't imagine having a whole team depending mostly on you, the fans who give their full support each split, and also the pressure you put on yourself as the esteemed best player of all time.
I love Faker. Literally feel like all the old heads that got to grow up watching Jordan. I got to grow up watching this legend.. I don't even play LoL anymore but Faker will always be a legend to me

I mean DK could've make back-to-back last year, they looked unstoppable and able to speedrun Worlds and everyone thought T1 is the only team that will give DK a hard time but no one saw EDG especially Jiejie coming through them
Faker was the reason I became a mid laner in 2013 till now. I still remembered the time he was dubbed as the unkillable midlane god or something and of course, 13 year old me thought that was so cool so I became his fan~ Fighting T1!! Hoping to win worlds this year :

Top 15 best players in the world currently. Top 5 in their given role.
Keria being the absolute pinnacle of support play... If Keria can keep doing what he is doing now he'll grow a legacy many times stronger than that of Mata, and one day he might even join Faker in the talks of the best player of all time. Keria's potential is insane, and the current roster of T1 is the strongest I have ever seen, even if Korea has been somewhat weak this year due to Covid, this version of T1 is more than that situation could suggest. This showing is stronger than 2016, it's stronger htan the showing of 2013... Is it stronger than 2015 T1? We'll just have to wait and see.
T1 remains undefeated even at MSI, if they can beat the entire tournament as undefeated they'll make another world record.
Zeus is probably the best top right now, theres no one except for maybe Bin who could challenge him,
Oner is top 3 if not top 2
Faker is back in 1v9 machine mode
Gumayusi is the most mechanically talented adc, with noone even close
Keria hard won lane on ghost cleanse bard in thier last game
the only teams that could challenge them would be RNG, but they haven't been looking as consistent, and G2, but they alse would have to do typical G2 shenagians and pull out some s tier drafts and macro to win. 2022 is T1's worlds to win
The only way they can prove that they are better than 2015 T1 is to go perfect at worlds. 2015 T1 lost only 1 game on worlds that time and it was on Finals.

The timing of this video may have been better by waiting for current MSI to finish. T1 are the favorites to win it and it would have made this video more hype. On the off chance they lose at msi you can just delay the video till worlds later this year which i am sure they will do well in if not win it.
The problem with your thought process is that its better to make 2 videos than one. If T1 wins any international time this year they will make another video on them

I believe this video was made for their LCK win but was a little late.
The difference in the speed of kills at the beginning of this video versus the end is ridiculous.
What’s crazy is that what happened to t1 this year is exactly what happened to damwon last year favorites to win Msi over rng lost in 5 games, then favorites to win worlds but lost in a nail biting 5 games. These are my 2 favorite teams and that is so unfortunate

Things about Faker that got me it’s not because he win a lot but because he is not give up. If I win so much like him and boom! take down on the ground I swear I won’t even try back to the top 😂 I will give up for sure! Just quit. He so amazing, so inspiration. Even when people say he done skt done t1 done there no way he can comeback on the top (maybe just top4 in lck only) but he just keep doing it no matter what. that’s got me a lot.

never forget when i seen for the first time (2013) playing SKT/T1. That team was totaly awesome and since that iam Big fan of T1. They show us so much huge moments... First and still only LoL dinasty, a lot of never give up moments... legendary plays a lot of wins trophies and more. Always when SKT/T1 playing everyone except something epic.

I remember when I saw SKT for the first time I was mind blown. They literally set of how the game had to be played and showed so much more at that time than other teams :)
Same, even Dopa admitted that prime Faker was the best player and revolutionized a lot of strats that even he used at that time.

I’ve been watching T1 matches since 2015 and one thing I can tell for sure is that this roster has the spirit and synergy required to potentially win the worlds. And I am so happy about it :)

i am not an og fan but way before i watch or keep up with esports, t1 and faker was already well known by many people. the org itself and faker himself is a legend that none in esport scene would forget

I really hope T1 smashes RNG this MSI. The audacity of RNG to play the victim card for the rematches when Riot is literally bending the rules to RNG’s benefit and everyone else in the tournament is getting the short end of the stick.
Makes me sick how blatantly pro LPL league of legends have become. I hope RNG gets stomped, they deserve that this year.

it took them 4 years (2013-2016) to win the world 3 times. Even the rosters that were rated all-star and stronger than SKT at their peak could not reach. If T1 wins Worlds again this year, it will be a happy ending for Faker's career when he is 26 years old

The only thing that I think is missing from this video is all the coaching changes that SKT/T1 also went through during their tumultuous years.
I said it last year, they won't win Worlds, because they're still new, but that next year they’ll do wonders, and here they are. It is a powerful roster, Keria, who is an actual genius at the game, Guma is a literal monster, Faker is Faker nothing more needs to be said, Oner is evolving at a rapid rate, and Zeus exceeded all my expectations. I really hope they win MSI regardless of the ping issue, and they have a big chance of taking Worlds
The moment I saw that Gumayusi was INnoVation's brother AND Faker's niece, I knew he was gonna be a machine.. but Keria really just blasted us all with his games. Oner is big pp b-Oner, still having upgrades added to that big dong as time goes. Zeus was the most surprising of all. The kid fucking wrecked players left and right despite being behind.. HE KNOWS HOW TO PLAY WEAKSIDE.
