The greatest player to ever touch League of Legends exploded onto the scene.
By the end of his first year of pro play, he was a world champion. He was the face of his game, the next generation.
But at Worlds 2017, that all came crashing down. His air of invincibility, his mystique, it all crumbled.
But he wasn’t done. Faker wasn’t the best in the world anymore. But that just meant he had a new mountain to climb.

In these past years, he's like a robot no emotions poker face etc.
But now he had a happy aura in every video i watched about him because he knows he's surrounded by a good players.
Before he was a quiet and talented anime protagonist with glasses and OP IQ but now according to Wolf, he's become more of the still strong but warm older brother for Canna, Effort, and Teddy.

He's one of the oldest players in LCK but the fact that he is still playing as a pro while most of his age group has retired is a testament to how good he is.

Faker is THE legend of League, he's so good that when you make an amazing play in league, they call you Faker. He is also THE role model gamer, one that always strives to do better even though he's already been named the best. I'll always be supporting our God of League, Lee Sang Hyeok.

I can understand very well what Faker means with "defending the title, that is the name Faker", but he'll always be THE Faker, the multiple times World Champion, the player who won every tournament the pro scene has to offer, the midlaner who regularly outplays even the strongest opponents and makes world-class players look like bronze scrubs.
Even if he'd never find his way back to the heights he was in before, that won't change any of his stellar achievments in the LoL scene.
there's no other midlaner that strikes fear into any other pro midlaner like faker does. they all shit their pants when they get interviewed about facing faker in the midlane

Im just a random Australian dude who lives pretty remotely out here, has real shitty internet to the point i cant play League and is pretty much left with YT or watching streams as my time killer. I just really hope that not only Faker, but anyone who goes out and entertains their fans the way all these lads do understand that they get seen doing their thing from so far and wide, and for people like me who cant play because of ping issues or whatever getting to watch them all play instead is the next best thing. I hope eSports keeps getting bigger and better because it really does help people in many more ways than 1. Faker is god. Great video aswell by you guys, loved it.

No matter what happened to T1, the name Faker will always be remembered as a God in league.
Faker is not only a good league player but overall a good person. Though he earns millions of dollars, he is well known in Korean for giving his salary to his parents. He also said in his stream that he will donate every donations he gets (for the corona virus). Another moment where I saw Faker was a good person. His fan said something like he/she didn't have a lot of money, but still will donate some of theirs. Faker replied by saying you don't need to donate, Eat what you want to eat. Donating is for people like me who have a lot of money. He then donated W30 million plus the donations he got from that day. The final one is where he called "manners" to his teammates when they were trying to kill their opponents in their fountain when the game was basically over. Faker has been a top player of league of legends, the greatest of all time. But that is not why I love this guy. Its because at the same time he has this ambition to win and be the best. he is a humble guy that can think of others, use his influence to help those in need. I love you Faker, and you will always be my hero.
I saw them for the first time on BTS Run and I had so much fun watching them I decided to check out who T1 and Faker was and I was not prepared to fall into this rabbit hole. I knew he was one of the Elite of SK but It blows my mind at how he became such a legend at such a young age. I am impressed beyond belief!!!!

The 2019 SKT should be a video of it's own. From super rookies that failed to live up to expectations, to their 13 games win streak for their chance at the Wild card chance, and their eventual victory over Griffin for the LCK title, this story still lives on within Koreans as a legend.
