- Today in Mexico City I took the subway to the neighbourhood of San Angel to visit the market (called El Bazaar Sabado) and eat delicious quesadillas. I ended up eating two: one with pumpkin and the other with potato and chorizo. Only 15 pesos each! I also found the first souvenir I've purchased on this digital nomad adventure so far and have a very kind woman to thank for it! Muchos gracias again, wherever you are! I absolutely love the parks in Mexico City and also found a cute area with teeny little streets. Back in the Roma Norte area, where I'm staying, I got my laptop and spent hours working at a great local bookstore/cafe called El Pendulo. After that there was just enough time to grab some tacos from my favourite street vendor and hurry to catch a movie!
ABOUT ME:
I'm travelling around the world as a nomad. I left my apartment, sold most of my stuff, bought a one way ticket, and am currently living in Mexico City! I don't have a plan. COME ALONG FOR THE ADVENTURE!

It is! It's actually a chain called El Pendulo and I visited almost all of them in Mexico City ;) My favourite is the location in this vlog though (Roma Norte). Best vibe. Books and coffee? I mean....best.

I've found that here you have to expressly ask for cheese or it's not included. I'm not sure if that's different?

Yes, I'm Canadian :) Vancouver is fantastic! When are you going? Kitsilano is a lovely place to walk around and visit the beach. Granville Island has a great market and views of the downtown. You can have a great meal at Edible Canada there. I loved the kale salad, duck frites, and maple bacon caesar! The island is also the home of Granville Island Brewery which makes Marc's favourite beer 'Winter Ale' though I think it's only available around Christmas. Gastown is really pretty and historic. Take a photo with the steam clock there. Get coffee at Revolver and stop at Nelson the Seagull for avocado toast (on fresh bread!). If you're around there and feel like tacos stop in at Tacofino. The Old Faithful Shop stocks cool stuff. My favourite brunch is at Cafe Medina but beware of long lines and double check their hours. Get a lavender latte (yum!) and the waffles with multiple delicious sauces (recommend the lavender chocolate, salted caramel, and white chocolate pistachio rosewater)! After writing this out I now want to visit Vancouver too haha. Have an amazing time and let me know if you check out any of these spots! yeah i know they change the name of the thinks the quesadillas are with queso cheese and the name is from the spanish
