Jaxxy J while Mexicans do eat a lot of meat, they also eat a lot of vegetables and fruit. You can find omelettes filled with veggies, chilaquiles w/out meat, squash blossom and mushroom tacos, sauteed veggie tacos, green juices and fruit stands everywhere. IMO its not hard finding non-meat foods in Mexico. There's also bean dishes everywhere.
The food in Mexico is just AMAZING. I ate as much as possible haha ❤️ One of my favourite things is all the juice and smoothie stands too. You can always get a delicious fresh concoction!

Hello! I'm sorry for the delay in writing you back! Are you still trip planning? We stayed in private rooms in two different Airbnbs in Mexico City. Both were located in the Roma Norte neighbourhood which was my favourite. Condesa is nearby and is also a lovely area.

I hope you like them! The liquid nitrogen ice cream is super crazy and light tasting. It feels like whipped air or something. At Fresh in Canada I love the 'gojiccino' latte which is literally just blended goji berries heated up with any kind of milk but I'm not sure if they have it at this location or not. To me it tastes like a toasted marshmallow. I'll have to try Temictli and Los Losers (love the name!) on another visit to CDMX! :) Buen provecho!

I was shocked to learn that Fresh was in Mexico City as well! It's too bad that it's the last thing my friend and I ate before getting super sick, so I haven't been able to go to Fresh since I've been home in Toronto either! (I'm not blaming them, it's more the association! Ah, the perils of traveling haha)

The food in Mexico City look so good, I am from the North of Mexico (the veryyyyyy north) so here we are more influenced by American food :( you don't find all that traditional mexican food in the streets :/
Hi! Yes, it's delicious! Mexico is such a big country, I'm sure there must be regional differences in the types of food. We absolutely loved the food in Mexico - it's one of my all time favourites to eat! I also love all the juice and smoothie stands and of course how easy it is to get tacos :)

The food in Mexico City look so good, I am from the North of Mexico (the veryyyyyy north) so here we are more influenced by American food :( you don't find all that traditional mexican food in the streets :/
Hi! Yes, it's delicious! Mexico is such a big country, I'm sure there must be regional differences in the types of food. We absolutely loved the food in Mexico - it's one of my all time favourites to eat! I also love all the juice and smoothie stands and of course how easy it is to get tacos :)
