Best Beatles cover ever. On a mandolin
One of my first mandolin songs was "Let it Be". Not too hard to play (for a Beatles song), and the arrangement was all chords. Sounded great. But a lot of Beatles songs are really difficult, on any instrument.

Hi Tim, Long time fan. I have had an on and off relationship with mandolin roughly 1961 to 1991. Each time I see/hear you play I am inspired to get back to playing. My main interest is guitar, but the allure of the mandolin keeps calling. I enjoy your solo work and your duet with Eric Skye. I think I'll put my toe in the water and order your book MandAlone. As you can do with a tambourine...fingering is much different champ

Wow, very nice Tim... when's the album out? Just looking at your previous albums on Spotify. Is it just my eyes or is the scale length on the Giacomel's longer than a conventionally built F5?
Oh, not a Giacomel... somehow a youtube search for Giacomel lead me here. Arrow, looking him up now. :)
The builders name is Paul Lestock, and yes the mandolin does have a longer scale length, 14.875 inches I believe.
my scale length is normal, but you're right, the standard G model is slightly longer scale.
