    I've been after a 4wd with low gas mileage and had no idea how economical the Diesel engine RAV4 is, its crazy !

    Great info!!! I'm in the same boat, now that is time to change the tires I'm looking for something just like these! just one question, you said it rubs a bit, is it a hard rub? annoying? could the plastic be trimmed a bit?

    • @expeditiongeorgiaus
      @expeditiongeorgiaus  3 года назад

      Thanks! It runs only backing up, turning and usually only downhill. Not annoying enough for any modification.

    Should've gotten ET20!
    I got LP5 wheels with the ET20 offset and 245's in bronze (my car is silver)
    So it'll look saucy like yours but it won't rub

      I sell Black Rhino wheels and get a silly discount on them so the tiny bit of rubbing on occasion I can deal with!

    Hey! I know you're in Georgia from Expedition Georgia. I have question you may be able to help with, do you think I can take my 2wd Tacoma with a 3 inch lift onto the Georgia Traverse Trail without a problem? Not sure if you have ever been on that trail but figured I'd ask, thanks!

      I purchased a RAV4 for the same reason. I really wanted a 4Runner but they were really expensive for newer ones and Tacoma’s and Highlanders pretty much ran the same price. I hopefully plan to mod the RAV4 a little bit too. Can’t wait to see your exhaust mod because that’s something I really want to do for more clearance too. My only current mods now are led interior lights, led fogs and headlights and I had to purchase the crossbars.

    Hey man great video quick question since I’ve been looking at all terrain tires for the same rav4. You mentioned minimal rubbing when in reverse what tire size do you recommend for there not to be any rubbing at all ?

    • @expeditiongeorgiaus
      @expeditiongeorgiaus  3 года назад

      So you can go 235/65/17 but honesty the rare instance it rubs in reverse on the 245/65/17 shouldn’t deter you from getting the taller tire, it’s worth going for the 245!

    • @Pockets96
      @Pockets96 3 года назад +1

      @@expeditiongeorgiaus thank you for the quick response man I really appreciate it! Would the 245/65/17 only apply for the the tires you have and would it be the same with any other all terrain tire brand like Goodrich and nitto in terms of rubbing

    Did you have to use different lugs on wheels? Or could you use stock lugs?

    • @expeditiongeorgiaus
      @expeditiongeorgiaus  3 года назад +1

      After market wheels use different lug seats than OEM wheels so you have to use Acorn seat lugs. They almost exclusively come in the spline drive style. OEMs will not work.

      @@expeditiongeorgiaus another question. Do you know if you had to use spacers for the front? I also put some black rhino sandstorm but the rub on my caliper. Had to put a spacer on there.

      I won’t have this car forever and also it won’t actually increase ground clearance. Fender clearance maybe but where this car has clearance issues that don’t get solved by the lifts that they make for this car
