Years ago, I knew a courtroom where the judge warned a certain attorney about farting on purpose. As he was questioning the opposite side he would lift a leg and let go. I also had a friend who couldn’t ever have a sub because the boys in one class would have farting contests. They were seniors, nice boys all (I had had them in my classes), but they just couldn’t resist the fun when she wasn’t there.

I use to work with lots of various people, one guy always had me so upset, i constantly had bad gas working with him. He complained, my boss told me to stop farting when with him, i tried to explain he made me so upset there was no holding them in, i could fell my stomach growing inches with the gas, you want it to stop, quit putting me with him. This was the modular office system business and the only female field worker at the time, i did it for 11 years an only had the one guy upset me that much.
There's over-the-counter pharmaceuticals for that, one called "Gass-X" works well. It's a common treatment, been around for years so I don't buy any explanation it wasn't intentional. You wanted to "perform" to antagonize the guy you couldn't deal with.
