I lost my 32 yr old son 11 days ago so very raw as so many of you. I have a responsibility to him to make something good come from this, very beautiful and I truly hope someday I will get there. Mothers live their whole lives for their children. He was my 1 and only child and right now I just feel like I would rather be with him. I always thought I was strong but this is unbearable pain and I don't know how so many do it, find new meaning and purpose. I know I am not alone in this journey. Bless you all.

Last August, I lost my dear 31 year old son. He committed suicide. In the morning, he left, and we never saw him alive again. He was found after 3 days, and the police did not let us see him. Depression killed him. For all of us, it was a shock, unbearable, and painful. I still can't get over the fact that he's gone forever, gone in such sadness and heartache, and we did nothing to prevent it. There was not even a premonition of trouble, and only now we realize that depression is a terrible wake-up call. I really miss him every minute and ask his forgiveness. I ask God to forgive him and accept the unfortunate lost soul of my son into the Kingdom of Heaven. Forgive me, my beloved son. Rest in peace, my love.

      I’m so sorry 😢
My son overdosed on Christmas 2023. 11 AM.
Days in the hospital … He had a neurologist, and was hooked up to electro to see what if anything was left of his brain. Nothing was left. So we inquired about organ donation. Then the organ donation team got on board and they started looking for recipients. December 31, 2023 at 2 AM in the morning we walked him from his room to the operating room where they pulled out his breathing tube. My daughter and I were with him my son‘s best friend and two of my nieces, who my son‘s godmothers.
They pulled his breathing tube, took less than 10 minutes and he was gone. He fought the good fight. He fought his addiction for many many years. He was the best son I could’ve ever asked for. Ever. He was kind and caring and loving and generous, and a great friend to everyone.
My son’s heartbeats inside a young man that’s 30 years old. I keep hoping and praying that that is going well and that there are no rejections of any of the organs my son gave. He was also a tissue donor donated his eyes. He gave so much in life, and then he also gave in death.
This whole grieving a child is new to me. It’s only been over a month. I don’t like it, but there’s nothing I could do to change it.

My auntie lost her son ( my cousin) 5 days ago. He was 42. He was her life, her reason for breather, her avatar, her pulse and heartbeat. No words could ever describe how profiundly ,all encompassing the love she has for her son. She was the one who found him in bis bedroom. The family has had the wind knocked out of them. I wish i could take her pain away. She sleeps with her boys ashes. She cries over his ashes and sobs " the boy of my soul, the boy of my soul". My heart breaks for my beautiful, incredibly auntie. All she did and does is give to others. She lived for her boy. I hope there is some sort of afterlife, some realm, i hope she can be reunited with her boy. Who she used to be, wont ever exist. That proud, joyful mother wont exist. Because the day her boy, her son died, took that part of her, with him. My cousin Borja, i love you. My auntie, my soul breaks for you.

I lost my 22 yr old son Thankgiving morning 2019 to accidental drug overdose. When I first watched this video, it almost angered me the peace she had ..it seemed unattainable. It's been 7 months now and I try and watch this video once a month. It inspires me so much and i have made it my goal to reach this kind of peace that this beautiful mother shared with the world. A few things stand out..#1 Her son/ MY son would not want his death to destroy me! # 2, accept that we are not in control, (God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change) #3 Decide to allow my sons death to cause growth in me and use that growth to help others. (Change the things that I can) #4 Believe that everything in life has meaning( the wisdom to know the difference) I wish I could tell her, how much this 9 minute video has impacted my life. I hope to get the chance when I meet her in the sky🌠

I'd like to share my best friend's story with you.
      Family Story
Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our 16-year-old son, Ethan, played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for Ethan for a church mountain hike he was going on the following day.
My mother (who was visiting from out of state) and I woke early with Ethan on Saturday morning. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own that morning. As Ethan pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mother and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw Ethan. He did not make it home that evening.
That afternoon, a friend tried to contact my husband, leaving an urgent message to call him back. He tried several times to return the call to no avail. As we were preparing supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan filled my heart. I quietly blinked back tears. I glanced out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pull up to the house, but no one arrived. However, within a few minutes, a patrol car DID pull into the driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst. My husband and I went out to meet the officer, who confirmed our fears. Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of
a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed; they still are.
Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, our family has such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son and brother again. You see, when Ethan was a young boy, he was saved; he put his faith in Jesus alone to forgive his sins and to take him to Heaven when he died. He realized some very important truths from the Bible that he would want to share with you.
      His Story
Everyone is a sinner. Sin is any violation of God’s Law. God is holy, just and righteous, and He cannot allow sin in His presence. Ethan realized that he - like all of us - had sinned; and his sin separated Him from God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)
He understood that, because of his sin, he deserved to spend eternity in Hell.
“For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23a) [Wages: price]
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)
Ethan believed that Jesus, God’s Son, paid the price for all sin when He died on the cross - because His sinless sacrifice was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous, holy God. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He arose the third day, triumphant over sin, death, and Hell. Jesus is alive today!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Ethan was sorry for his sin, repented (turned), and received by faith the free gift that God offered to him.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b)
Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. He is alive in Heaven with Jesus today; and because of this great HOPE in Christ, we know we will see him again soon - not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour!
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28)
      Your Story
What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day - What if you were to die today? Where will you spend eternity - Heaven or the Lake of Fire? There will not be any parties in the Lake of Fire. It is a place of eternal torment for those who reject God's Son.
The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
We did not know that Ethan would step into eternity that day; however, because he put his faith in Jesus alone for his salvation, Ethan was ready to go. Some day - perhaps today - you will take your last breath here on earth, and you will step into eternity. Where you spend eternity is determined by what you do with Jesus Christ. Will you accept Him or reject Him? You are not promised another day or another breath. Eternity begins soon - Are you ready?
“...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31b)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“(...behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Corinthians 6:2c)

We lost our Maria 24 years ago. Breast cancer. She left 4 children. Time has made a difference. I am so old. Now, I lost my Paul, my husband, 9 mos. ago. When I say - almost not bearable-there are no other words. And, I am very old. Pain that is not tellable. We were married 68 years. We had 9 Wonderful Children. I have been so blessed. Crying is just what I do.

Thank you for your video. I am so sorry fir your loss. I lost my son, Gabriel within a month of his 18th birthday right after his high school graduation (June 9, 2021). He was killed in a car accident. His friend was driving. Surprisingly, I cannot be upset with the friend; even though, I have plenty of reasons I should. I see her and my heart only wants to take her pain away. She will have to live with a knowledge that she killed her best friend because she made wrong decisions. I know my son isn’t gone, he just changed his form, and yet it hurts so much. He was my only son and it was always just him and I since he was 5 months old.

I lost my beautiful son, Paolo, one week after his 19th birthday. 15 minutes after he kissed me goodbye he was killed when an 18wheeler t-boned his VWJetta. 7-1-98 7-7-17 He was my best friend and one of my soul mates I believe. We just always understood each other and felt similarly about social issues and shared many interests. I am unbelievably grateful for the privilege of being his mother. I would choose this torture all over again in any lifetime to get to be his mom. Loosing a child is the most devastating, disorienting and painful experience. I cannot believe people survive living with this much pain for extended periods of time. I wish no one ever had to experience child loss.

I lost my oldest son to a massive heart attack and 3 weeks of life support with all organs shutting down took him off life support. He had a adopted a new born son who
just turned 2. He was flown 70 miles from his home 900 from mine. Due to the pandemic we couldn’t go stay with him or say goodbye. It’s 5 months I still have nightmares of him knowing I made the decision to take him off of life support.
I feel like I gave him life and I took it away.
There is good days and bad I feel if we could have been there it would have been easier . He was my rock now my angel. I find feathers around the house and couldn’t figure out why until I saw his key chain is a feather. There is no greater loss than a child . I now understand there is more ways of not being able to say goodbye😢Thank you for sharing

Thank you for sharing who you are and the wonder of the beautiful son you brought to this world. The journey you both shared was not the journey you had envisioned, but your journey goes on together.
My 18 year old son, Brian, got Leukaemia in 2001 and died weeks later. I got to plan my goodbye and somehow I managed to carry it through, when the moment came, his brother Paul and I got to say "love forever, God bless, protect , guard and guide my precious boy" and let him go with love. I'm grateful for the strength that I was given, to be present. I can only say that God is love, and staying in love with Brian has saved me. I know he would want me to be happy and carefree, so I had to "fake it till I made it". And I've made it.
Loving your child is a gift that is yours forever, what a beautiful gift it is, that death and time can never erode. Marian

My son died 3 1/2 months ago. I am bawling after watching this. I am sure I will watch this many times.I have isolated because I need to be at my own pace, and I have no friendship to reciprocate to anyone at this time, or for a long time to come. Everything has changed. I don't know if I can ever feel positive, or hopeful or look forward to anything again. He used to tell everyone that I was his best friend. He was 29 years old. 💔

@@kimmefford2814 Thank you for your kind words. I feel very detached from the human race right now. Not because I have isolated. I almost don't feel human. I guess cause it feels like my soul was ripped out of me. I'm unable to correspond atm. I am very sorry for your loss. I realize that I'm being selfish by not reciprocating, and I hope you can forgive me. I do wish for you a day that will come where you will smile from the memories instead of crying from the overwhelming void. It is devastating. 🙏🙏🙏 Prayers for you... 🌻🌻🌻

@@ingrid7632 I COMPLETELY understand. I have isolated completely. Can’t seem to move. Seems unbearable to be conscious.
Thank you for responding. When I pray, I will pray for you too ✨

Very sorry for the loss of your beautiful handsome son. I can't imagine the grief and pain being a grown man. May God keep him happy until you meet him in the other world. I experienced grief too and loss of a newborn so I can somehow relate. I talk about it on my channel too in coping with grief. Hope you have time to watch too. Thank you for sharing you make so much sense. Blessings
