Do it mate, it took me until I was 26/27 until I realised driving jobs are what I enjoy, and I find if you can find something you enjoy to provide for yourself, then it takes a lot of unnecessary stress out of the process.
Ocado delivery driver here. Yeah we drive the Mercedes and Ford and some places we deliver to I'm sure other delivery drivers agree can be abit of a challenge we have no reverse camera or sensors so its abit harder when u can't see behind u

Just started working at Tesco, still getting used to the vans after driving around in little cars being put away from commercial vehicles this feels like a HGV to me we're in the Ivecos and Mercedes

I wouldn't like to be in a crash with that sack truck to be next to me. If you love driving so much, why not move on to at least HGV Cat C? It's basically a glorified van, but you're legally obligated to follow tachograph rules, so less hours than driving vans. Pay is better as you gain experience as well. I'm sure Asda will offer some kind of scheme to put you into a HGV as well, with a job offer once you gain the license.
@@SAMIUNOFFICIAL I'm the opposite 10 years in class 2 then 10 years in class 1 and I'm done with it , now im not as dependent onthe higher class 1 wages and i can afford the choice I start with ocado next week and after 12 months contemplating if its time to walk away from it I start with ocado on Monday.

Ask your supervisor or manager. But, you are on other peoples private property, if the customer asks, tell them you will blank them out of the video as you are not allowed to film people on private property without their permission.

get ur hgv license and cpc u can look into bus jobs lorry jobs, also look through agencies they usually find u open work close by.
Be careful with lifting those totes you don't want to give yourself a hernia.

I worked at Sainsburys as a delivery driver I hadn’t driven a van that size
Join ocado they take on anyone with a lisense. Get experience that way
Drive for Asda at Rotherham, we use Mercedes Benz and they have seen better days lol

That is the driving monitor system, it makes sure u drive smoothly. Driving harshly will send reports to the depot

It depends from Asda to Asda but for the most part they do have Automatic trucks nowadays so u should be fine 😊
