    No coverage giving Freo any credit. Sure there must be issues at Melbourne but a 92 point win means the winner is playing some pretty good footy.

      Did you listen to the intro? Multiple times Bucks said you have to give credit to Freo for their performance, but the bigger issue is how bad Melbourne were. They mentioned their ball movement and efficiency - ‘no coverage’ is a stretch. It’s not the news, it’s an opinion piece analysing the big issues in the weekend. Plus, like Sydney, you’re not in Victoria so are never going to get much of a mention.

      As a Sydney supporter I'm well used to hearing the narrative be all about the Victorian teams but in this instance the real story about the Freo/Melbourne game is rightly about what's happening at Melbourne. If Freo had just outplayed a Melbourne side who were really having a crack and whose system was solid I'd be agreeing with you but that's not what happened.

    Time for the Crows to finally sack Nicks, the fact he was extended is criminally incompetent. The worst performing coach in the clubs history and no finals since 2017. He has a worse coaching record than Robert Shaw, let that sink in. Embarassing. Time for Nicks, Riccuito, Kelly, Ogilvie, Assistant coaches, Silvers, The board to be shown the door. These bums have destroyed the club and made it a laughing stock. The fact the media isn't even covering it is shameful. They are the fitzroy of the competition since 2017.

    Not a fan of WCE nor Harley Reid, but tagging is a blight on the game, when the tagger doesnt have his eye on the ball, has no intention of winning the ball but is just holding back a talented footballer, the rules of the game need to be changed

    • @worker-wf2em
      @worker-wf2em Месяц назад +11

      Then it’s up to the talented footballer and his teammates to work through the tag and still have an impact. It’s been done before, and it forces the oppo coach to either abandon the tag or have one of his own players tag himself out of the game

    • @ashleyden
      @ashleyden Месяц назад +7

      What? That’s the point of a tagger to take out a player who usually tears it up, it’s up to Reid to learn how to deal with it

      Tagging to negate is fine it’s just like being a defender a good tagger will also find space wen team has the ball , but tagging and not attacking the game yeah it’s crap especially if he is illegally holding the player blocking ect umpires should keep an eye on tgat and penalise accordingly

      King does seem lazy and disinterested at times, and he does need to lead more. But the delivery from the mids stinks even more. There's only so much a key forward can do with such horrific ball movement and inside 50 entries
