I love how equipment has evolve to be so simple to use and quickly modify to a different look without having to tape Gobos to stands and the like.

Great video, Sal, and I apologize, but I'm gonna be "that guy." The tool you're showing is a projector, and it can hold gobos to project patterns. All your uses here are great, and it's awesome that lighting has progressed to get these instruments down to an easily portable size. The older ellipsoidal reflector spotlights were hot and heavy; not something you can just throw in a case with your camera and lenses.
When I saw the email, I thought you might be throwing your logo on the model, or some other pattern like branches or a window frame.

Are you strobing at all or is this all continuous light. It seems like it is continuous

Why every shot looks like you are using strobes? Are you using?

The thing I didn't like about NANLITE is that you can't purchase their V-Mount Batteries in the U.S. they do work with other brands but kind of a bummer for people who like to stick with the same manufacturer. Other than that I think they have a good product. I own three of their lights along with Pavotubes. I'll have to look at the Gobo accessory since it looks like you can do some creative stuff with it.

interesting... i didnt know that. i guess i have so many other branded v mounts... but thats a great point.
