I want to give MGA props for being more diverse with the 'Sparkle & Shine' line. On the contrary using the classic sculpt on yet another new character is worrisome. If RH hopes to stick around in the foreseeable future, leaning into using other face sculpts can help. You just CAN'T cut corners on diversity. They're competing with the likes of MH which say what you want about the quality, all the dolls stand out thanks to their diverse faces (& body types). Sorry for the mini rant lol. Love this podcast so much Elvira. You, Jonny & Cloe are the highlights of my week. Also congrats on your new venture, keep on slaying it diva.💖🙂
They had a warning in the Miniverse package with all the pamphlets in different languages. I'm glad their fixing, but I thought they could just put a huge warning on the outside of ball.
The recall is funny because it’s telling you that the warning is about everything they warned you about in the read me first booklet.

I genuinely believe the recall is all about moving these toys away from the children’s section and into the adult section with the Funko pops. I think they are fully aware that adults are moving the money right now in the toy market, & they want to put Miniverse in it. Also, their marketing has always been geared toward adults.
I'm not saying Johnny's sketches should be used for the intro on April Fools day.....but I also am lol.
Like imagine a color reveal (Barbie Reveal we have now) but its for the rainbow high background Character's likkkkke that would be DOPE and they would ATE!! #JustSayin!
The miniverse thing was wild. I got an email from walmart saying they'd been recalled and was like is this for real? At the same time I thought resin crafts for kids was a shaky idea in the first place, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I hope they can find a way to make it work whether it means replacing the resin with puffy paint or nontoxic glue or just making more resin-free activities like the bath bombs and potted plants.
I really wish they had kept these new rainbow high dolls, looking like they were in the prototypes as shadow high dolls. I really loved their unnatural skin tones.
From my understanding, the original cast isn't returning because one of them passed away. Love your videos, one of the best news sources for dolls!
I really hope the Mini cocktails are Barbie or RH size! In the past, some of their drinks were a little large.

The cocktails look amazing, I need them. I don't know my miniverse balls count, probably 30-40 across all the series, but I never made any of the crafts lol. I opened most to see what they were. I guess I'm sending them my resin. I'm def keeping all the mini foods. But do I even need to send it back? I'm an old with no kids and I read instructions and warnings and wear gloves & masks as needed.
So funny, today I finally made two of the mini verse resin food sets I’ve had for a while, and was knocked back by the smell. I was wondering why these were considered children’s toys. Not everyone has worked with resins before and would have the common sense not to let kids use these unsupervised.

Johnny I love coloring too. I have several coloring books and crayons and colors books and coloring pencils. I have some creepy girl books like yours, Rainbow high books, fairy and fantasy books, and I even have a Jason Momoa coloring book..
Why aren’t there any pictures of the new dolls in the video?
Hopefully Miniverse gets fixed I want the Sanrio series, beetlejuice series, and the Hershey’s set and the 18+ beverages series.
The Ken house they could just add those changed details to the Barbie and be interchangeable

Zombies? Saw G2 Moanica recently and I actually quite like it. Dolls suck, but the movies are cool, and old.
I love love love The Barbie Movie but them mini houses are a scam. $50 for a mini house? Nah. I would be more willing to pay $100-200 for a regular size The Barbie Movie house. Give me somewhere to put my movie dolls. Maybe they assume we’re keeping them all in boxes and they can just give us whatever. Maybe that’s why the President can’t even fit her own dress😡
I thought the same, $50 for a mini house is a lot. Maybe it will go on sale one day.
I noticed that when I opened my president doll. I just got her because her face couldn't care less about the movie. I actually didn't really care for the movie. It should have never left Barbie land. For a movie about the most famous fashion doll of all time, the fashion was seriously lacking. Why how orginal a pink gingham dress.
I hold a grudge against descendants because they are the reason Ever After High ended. I still like the movies though, it's a hate love relationship with descendants
They should cool it on Barbie movie products it's passed it's time. No one that's not a Barbie collector cares anymore.
