I feel your struggles. It just goes to show that we really need some fashion packs to come out with mix and match pieces in all the different colors, rather than having to buy more dolls all the time when we have so many, and all of them need fixing or tweaking in one way or another.
This aged badly, how do you feel about the fashion packs?
You’re hands down one of my fav doll RUclipsrs! It’s nice seeing a more casual and, as you said, vulnerable side of content. I feel like so many RUclipsrs show this huge persona that their collection is always 100% perfect and it’s so refreshing to see someone interacting with their dolls the same way I do with mine!

I don't really restyle my dolls so i'm always amazed with people who redress them all the time. There's a channel here Official Bunny Boo and she redresses her dolls with any clothes from any line and i'm just like wow I wish I wasn't so stuck in my ways. I also get really anxious about "ruining my dolls" which is why i'm so hard on myself.
Btw your Sunny was so cute those are the vibes that I feel MGA got a little apprehensive about.
Word on the streets has been that there's a supposed Luna + Sunny pack.
If that's the case then I really hope MGA has fun with that pack.
I'm very interested to see how RH handles the Sunny and Luna pack! And yeah, I totally know what you mean about being stuck in your ways and being hard on yourself. It's a mental hurdle I'm only just beginning to work on getting over, for some reason it truly feels so scary. But like the example you gave, so many people do very mix and matched restyles and I want to feel okay doing that too 😅
@Dee ca I feel the exact same way about restyling my dolls i always feel anxious about taking them out of their original clothes for some reason and idk why 😅

It's been a while but I still really like RH/ SH. I really enjoyed the video! It's so cool to see how you restyle and what you're purging. I think these days quite a lot of people are purging their RH collection
This is such a fun idea, and I would love to see more restyling vids! Restyling is the main way I bond with my dolls, and I'm always wishing I had friends who like dolls so I could nose into their restyling process 🤭 As always, your content is right up my alley!
i know their colors are the whole entire point of the brand, but like ....... i think its boring when they're using just the one color? so i'm living for these restyles. you found some REALLY cute ones

I just ordered Jr. High Jade. Idk, but the Jr High dolls just bring me so much joy. I commend you for being willing to get rid of ones you don't like as much anymore. I should do that because there are definitely some dolls I have that the hype is gone for. The grayscale dolls look better when they have colored clothes, imo.
It's really hard to pull the trigger and go ahead and get rid of them! The process always makes me a little anxious but I feel so much lighter afterward
aww I get that anxiety I really do. I was an inbox collector for 2 decades and am currently unbeaten owing everything and oosh the anxiety ❤

I love Avery's pink pixie cut so both her wigs are in storage (most likely permanently, haha) and I dressed her in the pink sparkly dress with the rainbow sparkly jacket. The colors perfectly match the hair. I usually like my dolls to have longer hair I can brush, but with her it just works. I love your outfit for Daphne! I have an extra Daria so I might try that. This was a really good video and being anxious just means that you're human. I also have anxiety, so I can tell that you're dealing with it quite well. Don't be too hard on yourself - you'll just make yourself more anxious that you're anxious, right? That happens to me way more than I'd like to admit. Making "friends" with my anxiety has helped me a lot, working with it instead of it working against me. Not sure if that makes sense, sorry. Keep up with the great videos. Take care. 🌻🌻🌻
Thank you for the kind words! I do kind of get what you're saying; fighting against it too hard can just creates more anxiety! It's hard to learn to be gentle with myself haha but we're getting there ♥

I feel this. I have some RH/SH dolls i own. And some are colors i wouldn't choose normally. Also, with how loud or monochromatic some dolls are. The walls make a difference, because the backdrop can washout dolls
I really enjoyed this video as always. I am a baby collector, I just started collecting of december of 2022. As of now I only have gen3 draculaura, lagoona, frankie, twyla, cleo and ghoulia. As well as one gen1 monster high doll, being ghouls night out lagoona. She was the only doll I was able to save from my childhood. Like many collectors I felt the pressured to donate my dolls when I turned into an adult. So i am currently working on rebuilding my collection. Everytime I watch your videos I am in awe of how many dolls you have and I cant wait to have just as many one day! I also because I am a baby collector I have never touched my dolls hair or clothes. So watching this video gave me ideas for restyles! I can't wait to see yout whole collection when you eventually move, and I wish you nothing but the best on your move!

This was motivating and informative for me since I also want to do something with my dolls that I've had packed away in anticipation of moving within the next year. Covid did crazy things to the housing market where I live, so who knows exactly when I will move and have more space. However, I don't want to leave my dolls completely dormant, and I also have some things I want to sell. I enjoyed hearing your thought process.

To make space for g3 mh we recently had to go through our lol Omg & rh collections and donate ones we didn’t love as much it was def hard ❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗
It is so hard to go through collections! I actually just did the same yesterday with LOL, and today with my G1 MH dolls haha. I know it's not popular but when I compared those with the G3 dolls coming out I didn't feel as excited about the G1 dolls anymore. I'd rather have more space and have those dolls go to people who will appreciate them fully ♥
@@FaeryTaleDolls awe that’s very cool and def understandable. My daughter got me into dolls when she turned 3 it started with Shoppie dolls then Barbie specifically fashionistas. I did keep all our Barbie’s - I still buy Barbie’s on occasion even though my daughter isn’t really into them anymore the phase was kind of when she was 3-6 years old and she’s 9 now. But over the years we let go of our Shoppie dolls collection, boxy girls, Hairdorables, snapstar, failfix and I’m sure there’s been some others as well oh the small na na na dolls I did keep the teens. 🖤🤗
Oh wow! I could not let any of my omgs go. I love them too much. I don't have that many RH so they are in control! Impossible for me to part with my G1 MH. I just love them too much. I still prefer them to G3. I prefer to keep my old dolls and not collect G3 actively. I will only collect a few I really like if I happen to see one that will impress me.
@@darklight4251 yea def kept all the fashion for our omgs & rh but some base dolls we weren’t as attached to. My daughter & I both agreed we wish Omg & tweens had actual knee articulation like rh 🖤🤗
It's ok for me. I don't mind if omgs don't have legs articulations. I have other dolls with articulations so it is ok. I also have older dolls without. I like omgs' bodies. They are very cute.
I'm glad you are learning to let go and experiment with different looks for your dolls :) I have a few dolls that I did this with, and am happy with the changes. I'm thinking now of trying to find patterns to make new outfits for some of my dolls. I didn't know you had an ebay account and will check it out. Have you ever rerooted a male doll? I would consider getting a male RH doll if I could give him long hair, and I'm even thinking about trying to do sideburns/mustache. I just don't like how juvenile they look, and that's why I haven't gotten any of them. That was fun and I look forward to seeing you again soon :)
I've done reroots on male Ever After High dolls, but never a RH doll of any kind yet! From what I understand, RH heads are pretty stiff so they require a bit more care.
I do think with the super buff body the RH boys would probably look better with a more mature look haha
@@FaeryTaleDolls Thanks for letting me know. If I decide to try it, it will be interesting. I've never done a reroot at all before, and am a little nervous. I agree that they should look more mature :)

Unpopular opinion... Many RH dolls outfits don't have a good style except for a few exceptions like Mila (2 great outfits and one with separate pieces + 2 great shoes). I think that's why they are so difficult to redress with RH clothes. The colours don't help either. I dislike some of their outfits so much, it put me off buying them quite often.
Another unpopular opinion... I like Amaya with rainbow hair. I don't have her and hope to find her one of these days. I don't like the first Amaya with white hair very much.

I love that Minnie has a very cool toned pink. I also love the color shade of Lola from costume ball but we never got her in central europe. What i can't see anymore are pastel colors 🙈
