It is recommended that all Avaya 1600 series IP phones be upgraded to firmware 1.3.5

This video really misses the whole point, none of the steps to actually setup and execute the ugprade were shown. Also, the audio quality is terrible.

Hello, I have a question. When I power on my 1608 phone it said "Boot hb1608ua1_370B.bin" and immediately after that a series of self-tests begins. The message "* to program" never shows up. I can't even make a factory reset or clear values. What could be the problem?
I have another 1608 phone which boots with this file: ha1608ua1_350.bin". That phone boots normally. The "* to program" message is shown on the display.

HI, AVaya 1608-I support protocol SIP for Asterisk? What firmware should be used? I have not found it, thanks.
Actually the 1600 phones do not support SIP firmware, I guess Avaya didn't think people would want to do that.
Which Utility were you using, it does not look like ASA - thanks in advance
upraj singh Hi Upraj, our tech is using IP Office Manager to upload the files to the memory card on the system and he is using Monitor to watch the files being downloaded from the system, both are included in the IP Office admin suite
