That girl playing lead guitar has a serious future in music. I pray she goes for it! I can tell she has a real gift. Love her vibe too. Stealing my heart like you wouldn't believe! Go Go GO!
These kids are badass af, and that Guitarist is amazing. Glad to see there's still hope for Rock n roll in this new Generation
+Hashed Prod. I shoot these concerts every 3 or 4 months, and every time, there is some kid who has obviously worked their butt off practicing and has improved dramatically. The thing that is most amazing is that it is as likely to be a girl as a boy. The School of Rock program allows girls and young women to become great musicians outside of the often toxic environment of the garage.
The girl on lead guitar does a great job!
She has advanced so much in the year since this video that she has been selected as a School of Rock "AllStar", the top 1% of the entire program, and will be going on tour this summer and playing festivals!
She just won a shredding contest at Summerfest.
nah.. not very good job, need soul and practice
Sir Daniel she's a kid...
Marc Segond great? My man she played it just as well as the original. It saying you were wrong just adding to your comment.
I have this up on my house speakers- so great sound for my Saturday!!!
The young lady on the guitar is kickass.
Indeed! They just finished another season and I'm editing the shows right now. if you ever despair of "kids today" find your local School of Rock and see one of their shows. They did a Black Sabbath show and totally killed!
I guess
Lead singer needs voice coaching
Anyone that dies R R.s Piece is TRULY a ⭐!....BEST OF LUCK YA ALL! Like R.R. would tell his students, Practice, practice PRACTICE
(I Was an 80s teen, before auto tuning and artificial music started when it was all REAL..You guys did GREAT
after watching this clip again brought tears to my eyes because Randy would have been proud of that young lady on the lead guitar. Excellent stuff!. great vocals, great performance by all.
That girl on lead guitar would make Randy Roads proud! :D
proud of what....... she made a disaster at the end.
@@habs like to see you play that solo as well as she did pussy
@@johndodd3036 couldnt u think of something better to say... your brain dried out with this commentary... lol ... so easy to insult now a days when you dont have that person in fromt of you.... better luck next time
@@habs I’d say it to you bud
love the vocals...and everything else too
When that bassist smiles @ 1:58, priceless. Love seeing these videos, thank you for sharing.
That's Judah, he's currently getting a whole bunch of views on a Judas Priest video on my channel. Every season, my wife and I show up and see how much these kids have improved - and the moments when you see the joy in their faces is when you know they've fallen in love with making music.
I am so glad that they are playing such a great song. Yes, the lead guitarist is amazing but every member of this band is great and getting a top class education in professional music. My congrats for making this all happen!
Bless them. Great rendition and having fun doing it. Hope for music yet.
man I am crying over here because I did Ozzy on the high school stage in 84 and now these kids put all kinds of heart into it!! fn awesome
Im in love with that guitarist, wow!😍
This is one of the greatest guitar solos of all time in my opinion. Randy Rhoads was one of the people that inspired me to keep playing guitar after an incident happened. My band was very well known in my school and every band class i was in, kids would be “distracted” because i was considered a “distraction” to the other students in the band class. It got to the point where I was apparently holding them back in a way, but I overheard the director complaining to someone on the phone that i was taking his attention and the only reason he was still working here was because the kids liked him. He hated all of the other teachers there including the music department teachers. He saw me while i was listening to the phone call, and said im out of the music program and he doesnt want me in the music room ever again. I was devastated. I thought that i should not do this but i heard the mr crowley solo on the radio while i was in the car ride to school and i was like fuck my band director, im playing guitar and he is not gonna stop me. I eventually joined the school of rock houseband and played at a music festival along with black midi, trippie redd, travis scott, and many other amazing musicians. We played in front of over 19 thousand people. We were on the new york news and i was on the front cover page. My band director must have saw it somehow because he emailed me the next day apologizing for kicking me out of the music program. I left him on read and never saw him again.
im 55 and have seen alot of covers....at this young age the lead guitar and vocs has done a great job.....cudos my children
Who down votes this? Really? My guess is someone who has never put themselves out there in front of people. These young people deserve to be praised for what they are doing. Are they perfect, no but I've seen lots of bands in concert and even headliners make mistakes. These youngsters are awesome. Keep rockin' people. Music needs you. I think you guys are awesome musicians and look forward to your success if you choose to make music your career. Randy really would be proud.
I see negative comments as well, but I usually delete them unless it's reasonable. Generally the negative criticism is poorly spelled, in ALL CAPS and includes a dozen exclamation marks. ("U GUYZ ARE TEH SUXXZ!!!!!") Honestly, this isn't the pinnacle of the School of Rock program - but there is a peak that these kids can aspire it: The AllStars. The guitarist, Lauren, qualified last year and went on tour with them, and she auditioned again this year. It's incredibly competitive, less than the top .5% of the program. The singer on this song is probably going to try out next year - she's become really good. The bassist is primarily a guitarist and is (obviously in my opinion) nearly at that level.
If you get a chance, every School of Rock will be having their season shows in a few weeks. They do shows for the public in regular clubs. It's one of the best deals you'll ever find in live music, and the kids would appreciate the support.
Anything in the Asheville NC area?
just awesome. totally loved it. congratulations to all the schools of rock out there. long live rock and roll. I knew it would never die.
Wow randy would be proud!

Bravo Bravo Bravo I mean you kids really nailed it I mean you had to have really practicing for a while to one of Ozzy's classic songs and I know that if the man himself is watching this I know he would be very proud of you all keep on rocking
Well done amazing talent
Wow. I don't know who you guys and gals are, but I grew upon Ozzy and I would've been fooled to think that Randy Rhodes and young Ozzy were somehow alive in this cover on sound alone if I hadn't been watching the video. Whoever you are, keep at this, because you are AMAZING!
Great job y'all!!!

Better than I expected, actually good
This video is from a while ago now, but it's really cool to see younger people taking an interest in the "classics" of rock. Kudos!
Great shredding by Ms. Conner!
Had never heard of school of rock till now, and theyre not bad!
This is a regular season show, the type each School of Rock location does three times a year. There are 180 different locations around the US and other countries. The very best kids in each School form a band and gig around town, and the very best of those kids can audition to become "AllStars" and go on tour. The girl with the red SG became an AllStar last year.
Great👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️🤩
Very nice!
Damn! the guitarist ROCKS!!!😮😮😲😲😳😳😧😃
She played this again with the AllStars several years later:

Lauren Conner. She's a School of Rock AllStar this year, and is going on tour next week. I'm pretty sure she'll be playing Lollapalooza.
@@FernandoSantos-ry8pw o que ele havia dito? Eu não li ahahah
@@MidWestConcertVideo2 She is a fantastic guitarist, her stage presence is excellent, plus the smiles during the leads makes is perfect. Great job Lauren!
Essa menina na guitarra toca demais!❤
This was when she was maybe 14. She got so much better. Her parents actually bought their own school of rock franchise, so she is going to be passing the rock along to the next generation.
Long live rock'n ' roll!!!!
You guys will go far, I had to listen twice it was that good 👍
Great job! That lead guitarist :) Awesome
Props!!!!
Assisti agora e gostei! Aqui é Rio de janeiro!
❤️❤️❤️ goes to the girl playing the red PRS guitar.. I think we have another Orianthi in the making 😁
Amazing it's good to see the music preserved in new lives feeding new blood to the masterpieces of past times forever preserved in new vessels of rock!!
Thanks on their behalf. Since I recorded this, all these kids have gotten even better, so much so that the guitarist has been selected as a national "AllStar" and will be going on tour and playing music festivals!
Great cover 5 stars all around to the band. This young lady has a deep and powerful rock voice.Hats off super to see the youngsters playing this killer rock.
Outstanding Cover!!!
wow , awesome. I was there at a lot of ozzy's shows in 1984, 1986... If anyone has the guts to criticize the guitars , I'll allow them to , if they can play it better..
Rock never dies🤘🤘🤘
The young lady on lead worms my heart! SOO many mature decisions were made to ensure a NEAR flawless performance. KUDOS.
Everyone says Crazy Train, But I think this is the best song Randy and Ozzy did.

Sings like Ozzy! Plays like Randy! Awesome!
Find ich klasse dass die Blagen von heut 35 Jahre alte Klassiker spielen...Metal Never dies!
Very cool and nice. And big props to the lead player, not for just playing the solo well, but for tone and phrasing that were so much like Randy's it was scary. Impressive!
Wow! !!!
its beautiful to see young people waving the metal flag, just goes to show that real music never dies, As Shakespeare once wrote" sound music and rock the ground."
Awesome!
the singer also does a great job for her young age. Very confident on stage and a presence to keep the crowd engaged. Plus can sing in key
This isn't the easiest vocal to tackle, either. I really liked how she handled it.
That was amazing not gonna lie
