I'm more scared of the reaper when I hear the roar and can't find it but as soon as I see it it stops being as scary. The ghost leviathan is really the only one that strikes fear into me, both its design and sound just fills me with dread. They're my favorite leviathan.
This game is very realistic, it's not absurd that most people don't think it's Aliens and it's not super cliché either, you can see that they are living creatures and they're just surviving, The ecosystem and setting of the game helps a lot in this regard.
Especially with how the creatures act, if you leave them alone they'll do their own thing; for the stalker they chew on titanium and eat the smaller prey animals
Ampeels are actually a very docile aggressive predator, if you look on the danger index its somewhere in the middle, not a single ampeel has chased me before.
I could understand propulsion or torpedo over drill in case you don't have to mine but why would you ever get rid of grapple. Prawn is slow af without it.
Out of all the bizzare creatures here, the Warper is definitely a wtf creature design....like seriously, warping underwater as a means of locomotion?! That's seriously OP in itself. Like under what circumstances of evolution did it enable itself to get that capability?!
Warpers are robot assassin's made by the architects to kill indeginous life forms on 4546b, as you could see in the lost river laboratory Edit: also, the message that says something like lifeforms terminated 9, remaining, 1, were the warpers communicating to each other

I was so scared of warpers when I heard their messages on the radio.. and then I saw their bright pink skin slowly swimming after me and never feared them again.. definitely should have used more darker machine looking colours for them and made them faster in the water

Yeah except way more terrifying, sure ingame there hardly a presence, but considering how shallow those waters are and how fast they can swim, they would be way more scary, think about swimming in the ocean and then seeing THAT in the water

That is actually the Sea Dragon Leviathan that appears first.
The only safe way to scan them except for kill them is the harmless tranquilizer laser and I haven't found any fragments of it
