It doesn't even have a name yet, but the project Studio Pixel Punk (devs of Unsighted) is currently working on looks out of this world. It's been blowing my mind with every update, and it seems like it'd be a good fit for this list.
VA Proxy - Great opening and looks really dynamic. Stormright - The action looks potentially very visceral. Where Winds Meet - Wushu and visuals really stand-out. Enshrouded - Hard to make out how much building vs combat? And how deep? We Kill Monsters - I'll take your word for it, it does give off a different focused vibe so maybe stalking and tracking and combat will all blend together. This is not just an action-packed genre but a fiercely competitive genre with so many strong titles in the pipe-line. I think VA Proxy impressed me the most with such an awesome entrance and sense of scale and movement in the footage.
The video is great, I even added several to my wish list on Steam. But... is the video about indie strategy games (mainly RTS pixel art) about to be made?
I'm currently enjoying Svarog's Dream, and man do we have lots of open world ARPGs in the oven. I'm even waiting for V-Rising to release, and I'm yet to start Morbid the Seven Acolytes to meet the sequel. So glad that the Big Bad Bosses are still at an all high in the ARPG genre. Showa American Story amazingly reminds me of GodHand lmao.
I've never seen you drop the ball before Clemmy Lost Souls aside has been in development for Years way before final fantasy 15 it was started by one person but he created his studio from grants ands interest
Illusion Lands seems to have gotten dark. Been waiting for an update on the release of that "Prologue" demo for the entire year. Hopefully it's still on track. Bygone Dreams was featured in the last Steam Next Fest, and the demo was very neat, it's one of my most anticipated games now. Biwar and Buramato are 2 upcoming games drawing from Indonesian mythos. In the same vein of weird and colourful, there's "Dead Flamingo" Where Winds Meet and Project: The Perceiver are 2 Chinese projects I'm most curious about at the moment. Hopefully they get Steam pages soon, so I can wishlist them and stop confusing them with the other half-dozen wuxia soulslikes.
Casually waiting for more games like Ember Knight, Crosscode, Astral Ascent, and Chained echoes. Top games over the last few years for me, out did everything besides god of war.
You keep saying furry when I think you mean anthropomorphic. Which funnily enough, the PSX style anthropomorphic title was the most interesting game here along with Dungeons of Hinterberg. 🙂
I hope FERA isn't exactly the same like with Monster Hunters crafting material system. I got myself a game or two and at some point I hated that I often enough got nothing for several 1-2 hour sessions. I would be happy if it feels different, but it looks nice. I admit I liked the reaction of the person you saved.
@@hua.. Thank you, yes believe even without clicking on the video again to look it up I remember being dissapointed by the current state. Thank you for the reminder.
Lots of interesting proposals here, but seriously.... Even if they say they only inspire themselves a bit in the souls series, it's more than obvious that thet try to make more souls games.... I mean yeah, they're awesome games! I loved them! But just as they were the revolution on their era, i think it's time to move onward!
90% of these look like the same game. Are there only chase-view 3-D games being made any more? (Plus most of them souls-like or base-building/survival?)

Thanks for showcasing V.A Proxy
@@alialkilani1182you still have a question?
@@alialkilani1182 nice
@alialkilani1182 what was said question
Glad to know that Gedonia is getting a sequel, that game deserves it.
And as person who loves fantasy open worlds, i loved the list! thanks

Mm I hope the motorbike combat is significant, it looks like the coolest part so far
We kill monsters give a Outward vibe. Hope it have a good coop and secrets to explore

I'm perhaps most excited for Combustion. 'Cute meets grim sc-fi' is my favourite aesthetic, so when you mix that with an action-RPG, I'll be there.

Added alot of great looking new games to my wishlist. Thanks for the preview!

Great list as always! Think I added 7 new games to my wish lists (and some mentioned here were already on wishlist from before!)
stormrite looks like the perfect blend of skyrim in terms of worls and dark souls in terms of combat, im hyped now, ty for this vid

What a list! Can't wait to play a lot of these.
V.A Proxy looks insane
Definitely buying Lords of Ire Clemmy, I'll check out the demo soon.🙂🙂
The Seven Acolytes was an amazing game, loved it
Yay
@@ClemmyGames yep. Hope the demo of lords of Ire is awesome. Have you played it yet?

Can we have a sequel to Shattered - Tale of the forgotten King please?
Morbid and Showa look great
Towers of Aghasba looks amazing!!

Would not count Lost Soul Aside as an indie game when Sony is directly publishing it
K. Maybe I should have placed an asterisk there as well
Can't find anything about Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients on Kickstarter
I hope FERA isn't exactly the same like with Monster Hunters crafting material system.

there's a demo out on steam now, the thing is very very rough. I think having MH's crafting system would be the least of its issues lol

I've been waiting for lost soul aside for 8 years. I doubt it will come out this year, but we'll see.

this video was focused on 3rd person behind the back camera games. What are examples that you had in mind for "action rpg"?
Enshrouded 👍
lost soul aside and dungeons of hinterberg are the only ones looking promising, the rest feel like wip projects
V.A proxy looks good so dose and so dose American shadow
2024 sure is (7:33) looking mighty (9:41) thicccc.
- Guys stop making Rpg games set in "Medieval world", come up with something new!
+ *Makes furry Rpg universe! *

Fufufu, not a single formally isometric game that would be pleasant to look at, let alone interesting...So I am waiting PoE 2.0)
Game name?
finally some good games on this channel. Not some bs pixel copypaste jrpgs
What's your problem always have good games on this channel
this is probably one of the weakest lineups we've ever seen
Unfortunately a lot of these games look very, very similar and very, very generic.
I was about to say the same. No innovation just tried and true genres and tropes.
Geno Kids is Unique Enough
I was literally going to say the same thing. I went through each game quick in the chapter select and there is very little difference.
True that. 😢
Yeah, though I still think that there were more unique ones than in other videos.
Why do all these titles look very similar? Odd
No they're not
VA proxy looks good! --- this one is a sewage like .. i'll still give it a try since it says it's a Nier / devil may cry inspired game
lost soul aside
i may give bygone dreams a chance.. as long as it's not a sewage like.
buramato - .... bullet abyss .. i'll try it out, but no promises
combustion
monolith: requiem of the ancients - metroidvania, and sewage like ... skip
where winds meet
anima song from the abyss - metroidvania , sewage like ... skip
.............bro you officially broke a record here!
8/25 ... after checking now it's more like 5/25 ... thus no records were broken...
obviously all else skip
these aren't "action RPGs" these are mostly sewage like.. i'll add my picks on an external note .. since i doubt i'll find them on steam
if you think "elements" has a name that will make it a nightmare to search for ... try out looking for a game named "unfamiliar"!
unfamiliar is a PC game December 15, 2019, literally about playing as a magic cat! a very relaxing game... sadly a nightmare to look for!
games that "looks like genshin impact artstyle" are named "cell shaded art style games [looking like a cartoon] and the first game in the history to be created with this art style pioneering it altogether was the [dream cast] game (Jet Set Radio) we are talking here abut a game from June 29, 2000. the art style used by "the walking dead tell tale series, border lands, genshin impact, and others" is named cell shaded.. and if you must name it referring to a game .. then all these games' art style would literally be named "Jet Set Radio - art like"
EVERYTHING is TBA!!! ToT
All look like switch games under development
Good Good Good Good
Those are reasons why i no longer play games
So why r u here watching this video

Hm.
So... a bunch of terrible indie open world games with tree chopping
