I wanted a G 425 Max for a while now. Here in 2024 the price has dropped considerably with newer model G 430 now out. Finally pulling the switch on the G 425 Max. Thanks for the review guys. Well done as always!!!
One of the best videos on YT on the G425Max driver ! Great detail with all the stats ! Looks like the G400Max is the way to go. I had a G400 about 4 years ago, but never got on with it, i think i had a shaft that wasnt fit for me.. the ball flight was ballooning and i wasn’t getting nearly enough distance as compared to my last few drivers I had. When i go for my custom fit im going to find a good used G400 Max and get the right shaft and save myself about $150 to $200 !
Nice video about all the drivers. I really like these videos cause you get all the Info you need in a short time about all driver brands. Keep doing that. Super!!
Good question Stephen. How big a problem is the left miss? If you tend to hit it straight, moving the weight to the fade slot will encourage a fade, but guessing you don't want that on your good drives? Have you tried a flatter lie angle yet?
We're just in the middle of completing our testing program Robert. We'll look at fairways in a similar way in terms of forgiveness to the drivers very soon. Look out for a Best Fairway 2021 video.
Absolutely Vikram. We've said a few times viewers shouldn't compare data between two different tests. The two you refer to, were performed six weeks apart, using two different launch monitors (Foresight GC 2 and Quad) and two different golf balls. Neil is also speed training so is likely to gain speed over time. We have a 'Best 2021 driver' test video going live next week, where all the new models have been hit on the same day. This will give a good comparison between each. Hope that helps.
You do these tests for the readers, so why not let Neil hit the G425 SFT even though it will not be for his game? For many of us that is probably the driver to pick. Or will you pick another PGA Pro for testing it against other draw-biased drivers ?
It's one idea Paul, but so many golfers still struggle with a slice. If you can offer a brilliant draw option from the Max model why not go all guns blazing at the SFT?
@@mikeh7203 Couple of reasons Mike. 65g isn't the exact weight of the shaft. The Tour 65 is 58g in Reg and the Tensei is 61g. And the Ping chart doesn't quite represent what Mitsubishi say about the Orange. Ping have the Tour down as Mid launch where the Orange is classified as a High launch option. Hope that helps.
Once again no review of the SFT, too many so called good players who draw the ball and are afraid to hit the SFT incase it embarrasses them because of the left shot and drop off in distance, absolutely pointless review to most golfers.

Thanks Joseph, enjoy the G425.

Thanks for the taking the time to say so William, it's much appreciated.
We love getting the insight from brands who are willing to share.
Simon is very excited about the 10,000 MOI
Great video thanks if you tend to hit your driver straight but your miss is left where should you place the weight please

Well done lads as always 🏌🏻♂️
Thank you LE GEND
PING the experts at forgiveness.... that's
why I love them. Everyone of us could use that forgiveness! ⛳⛳
Very well said Steve.
Been on any Lincoln Uni student nights recently Neil?
Are the fairway woods as forgiving as the drivers

What effect on shot shape does changing the loft have? How come this wasn’t addressed?
The carry on the Ping G425 is 260 viz. 280 on you Callaway Epic tests video? Am I missing something. Cause that is a big difference.
Absolutely Vikram.

@@todaysgolfer thank you for your response guys. Love your videos and am looking forward to the next one.
So may look at a second hand 410 max thanks a lot
Great video. Good information overall. You just need more dynamic loft dude ;)
Thanks for the feedback and input Panu, glad you enjoyed the video.
Can you please compare it to the original 400 max lets see if they really outperformed the original iteration?
The G400 Max data is in the video Cadwell.
@@todaysgolfer Yeah, I can't believe he asked that either.

We will be shooting a draw biased/slow swing speed driver video this Aart. Hopefully that will have some of the information you're after.
love the final comment!
Appreciate you taking the time to say so Shane.
Would have been a good review if their Mike's had been on
Sound is fine at our end Dave. Are you listening through just one headphone?
Agreed, sound is not correct.
You are only on one channel.
Could be the draw bias is now too exaggerated?

Would have been nice if you spent 1/2 a second on shafts
There's a really good chart showing the difference in launch, flex and weight on our website if that helps?
You can find it here bit.ly/3p1ltc2
Ohh perfect! Any idea why they would have the the Tensi and Tour 65 in R so close together appears to almost be the same shaft in Reg.

Please do a revue using a normal sub 100 mph golfer as this is the majority of us golfers
volume is F... ed
Wow. What confidence in front of a camera. How to lose from a winning position.
OMG 😍💋 💝💖❤️

Exactly why we also have a 'Best Draw Driver' video pencilled in for 2021.
@@todaysgolfer will look forward to that, hopefully it goes up before the sale date.👍
Sorry guys Simon is a dreadful on these videos but I’m sure he knows his stuff but he isn’t good on vids.
