Most people miss it but the secret to retiring comfortably is finding a way to make returns while your money works for you. My Dad, as i remember started saving for retirement quite late but I know he was making more than 10k returns from his investments monthly and it was completely passive.

Prioritizing effective personal finance management holds greater significance than the sheer amount saved, irrespective of income source. Consulting a certified financial advisor can offer tailored strategies to optimize financial results by reducing expenses and enhancing income, regardless of whether it's earned through employment or investments.

I wholeheartedly concur. At 60 years old and newly retired, my external retirement funds total around One million two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.. With no debt and minimal retirement fund allocation relative to my portfolio's value over the last three years, I recognize the importance of a financial advisor. Neglecting them isn't an option; however, thorough research is vital to find a trustworthy fiduciary advisor.

Managing Money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times, while orders tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too.

Watching the market's ups and downs shows how quickly things can change. In the market, strategic, informed trading isn't a choice; it's a must. Remember, caution is as crucial as ambition here. This dedication to continuous learning is inspiring...managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 532k... I'm especially grateful to Flora Elkin, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape..

Excellent synopsis once again Chris, you always have something new to share each week. We appreciate the hard work you and Kathy put in. Funnily enough, my account was up Friday, Thursday was "dump day" this week. I have fairly heavy positions in mReits, this skews my account somewhat and Thursday was not a good day for them. IR speculation to the upside or a slower rate of possible IR declines often affects them and the "warm" inflation report causes knee-jerk reactions sometimes.

Many people dont realise this about moving average, is that they are not like prices, and recent printed data can still change angles based upon the next readings… The problem I have with those webs of moving averages is that they won’t reflect a contraction until its too late… in that the moving averages are not real time indicators and are angle agnostic to the most recent averages…because the angles of the more recent moving averages actually can bend more in the future, and alter the recent past based upon future price averages… its quite deceptive the way moving averages work with regards to the current angles
