@@sandywhite7782Thank you for liking Tanghulu, we are sad because more and more corean people saying tanghulu is korean snack, actually it’s Chinese traditional dessert that has more than one thousand years. when Chinese delicacies enter Korea, such as malatang, tanghulu, and turn popular in korea, then they will claim that these are Korean foods. It’s a pity.
@@LeiLei-mx5ji Absolutely not. Mara soup and Tanghulu are very popular in Korea, but Koreans know that they are all Chinese food. Don’t worry We just like your food
The original Chinese version has more caramelized sugar that gives it a browner shine. Maybe Korean use white sugar. And it's also missing the starch paper which gives it a crispy bite. Tanghulu is a 'healthy' dessert
@@em_birch Thanks for that reply! I was thinking the same thing. When I saw the preparation, I thought "wait.. were those... _tomatoes?"_ lol Ive never had a candied _tomatoe_ before... interesting!
@@BeautifulNative26 if you want to keep it easy. You can mix just white sugar with water, bring to boil in pot. Have separate pot cold with ice. Gently roll your roll in the hot pot to coat it, then dip in ice water and set down or set down on a tray to cool off and harden as they did in a fridge to skip the excess ingredients. It comes out exactly the same!
Sorry That’s Chinese food not Korean food.. Just don’t let culture appropriation things happen more thanks 🙏 Tanghulu is our traditional Chinese food which alreday existed in Tang dynasty. We eat it since we’re kids whole now every Koreans introduce Tanghulu as their food 🤮It just becomes popular in recent years in Korea. And they change the tiny point of it and advocate to the world as Korean Tanghulu. Even Tanghulu is exactly Chinese pinyin( our pronunciation character) and Korean can’t explain what does Tanghulu mean 😅. They put K-food mark on Tanghulu and sell everywhere. Koreans like to blurry Chinese food as East-asian food so that they can become something shared in common with Koreans later. While it’s really bad culture appropriation behavior 😅

ホタテの殼パウダーで洗ってるのかな?😊丁寧ですね👍️とっても可愛い食べ物🍇🍅🍊❤
Yummm..😍😍😋
中国冰糖葫芦有悠久的历史了
I wonder what are the other ingredients to the sugar they put while caramelizing?
😋🤤
why put small tomatoes in sugar? or is that another fruit? the rest looks delicious 😊
In Korea they basically eat cherry tomatoes like grapes.
Tomatoes are a fruit and sweet ones are delicious 😋

@@mangachanfan1556 Yeah! I'd be willing to try it. Maybe commercially available tomatoes are sweeter over there than in America?

tanghulu actually originates from china! please don’t say it’s Korean street food when you don’t actually know!
китайская традиционная еда!
Ese líquido transparente que le agregan ala azúcar como se llama?
🤗🇨🇴 Redpondan gracias
Does anybody know what kind of fruit it is?? @18:10 Ive never seen that before..

👌🙌👍👋💪🎥📺
😊
Hmmm what did they put in water when cleaning the fruit?? There is no need to put anything aside from a bit of white vinegar maybe
I used baking soda to clean my fruit. Research has shown that it can remove the pesticides and wax from fruit better than vinegar.
Did they wash the fruit in the sink where they wash everything else?
It would've been nice to tell us the ingredients you put in the pot.
Sugar, Water, Corn Syrup, and Salt or Baking Powder/Soda
It's not salt and baking powder, it's agar powder
agar powder helps to thinly coat the fruit with sugar.
Gobwatch emmy made, she makes it on her channel.

What they are add on into the sugar instead of water.they not show
99% of the video was spent putting fruits on the stick. It isn't clear what happens after that, is the fruit baked or what?
It’s dipped in sugar syrup that goes hard. Like a very thing candy apple.
ils font pas ça au Québec sa serait drôlement bons moi j'en achèterai en tout cas....
They may sell it in local China town but probably a more traditional version.
Y cuál es la receta 😢
Eu sei que tomate é uma fruta, mas pqp kkkkkk
it makes me mad as a chinese person when they call tanghulu "korean" like no....
