Most people want a box for streaming not playing games the box is a much better box than this video is stating
You are correct about this box. I bought it and the first box Amazon sent kept rebooting. I sent it back and Amazon sent another. It is fast, but the system will not keep network time, so you need to remove the power cord and reset to get the proper time. I don't play games on it so it hasn't crashed, but the decoders will not play 4k or anything close to that resolution. I only kept it because I didn't want to spend more money on another pos android box. I will build my own.

8GB of RAM is incredible for emulation, the processor is a bit of a let down but its okay, it could probably run up to Wii, PS2 and 3DS games at full speed. Wii U, PS3 and Switch I am a bit unsure about, PS3 having the lowest chance. 56GB isnt bad but it wont be enough to hold a big catalogue.
Currently my TV Box is an MXQ Pro+ 4K with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM which could run up to PSP, N64, Dreamcast and DS.
After Picking up a Nvidia Shield 2019 (Non Pro Version) Every other Android box makes me feel like you are giving something up if you get one of them instead.

I find you guys rating boxes are basing it on gaming and Netflix which isn't fair. There isn't one of you on RUclips rating boxes base on wifi connectivity and streaming which is the main reason 90% of the buyers bought theirs for. If boxes were rated for what they were made for the ratings would be different
Great response! I feel exactly the same way. I've bought different boxes for streaming, but they are not "plug and play": you always have to download and install one or 2 apps to get them going. As far as I'm concerned, the best 2 on the market right now are the BuzzTv XRS4500, and the Formuler Z10 ProMax, although the Formuler still has issues to update.

Get km6, you can find a netflix sideload for it on youtube, proper Android TV version not mobile so no mouse needed
I have this one and its OK but controller does not support Netflix , i have to swich to mouse mode wich is terrible slow

That’s strange, when you connect to Wifi, your date and time should auto adjust. In this situation you should try doing a factory reset. In case there are some software bugs causing this.
Even if it had 32gb ram, if it can only stream Netflix 480p, I don't want it.
Cpu z shows it has an RK3066 cpu?
Yes I noticed, RK3066 is an older 40nm chip and is supposed to have the Mali 400 integrated and supports 2GB RAM max, this box has the Mali G52 and supports 8GB RAM. So no idea whats going on here. It's weird, maybe they customised it or maybe the RK3566 is too new to be recognised by CPUZ. It means we are not quite finished with the RK3566, more to come.

8gb of ddr3 ram would probably equal 2-3gb of ddr4 ram, roughly .. not good really .. imo

Amlogic all the way, Rockchip is a no go, always playing catch up

Allwinner and Rockchip are both really poor and should be banned from making android box's
Rockchip 3399 is by far better than the amlogic s12 and 905x2 or 3
@@troyb6036 i agree. i have the yundoo y8 with rk3399 ( the only problem is internet browsers - using a mouse the pointer is offset but i have found duckduckgo ok). chigz reviewed it and was underwhelmed because of poor gaming but i don't. it being a rockchip the system runs at 64bit whereas even newer amlogic don't.
is it open or limited play store ?
