The price is also way up from £49 (£62 on Ali right now, and apparently that's with 20% off) - which, if the SD NF and Prime weren't enough, makes it a LOT less seducing imho.
Love the review. A question for you based on your comments of installing VLC to improve video playback: I use Tivimate as the front end for my streaming service. The best quality channels are at 1080p 60fps. Should I install and use VLC as the Tivimate playback engine, or would there be no difference for those specs?
Great video on a new device. Why the need for a wireless antenna? And what is that OTG port - can you just directly connect a USB 3.0 external NTFS formatted hard drive and have the device read any file format like movie files, pdf files, photos?
I happy to like ICE, but i'm also an individual who likes things to be as simple as possuble. Meaning fir the amount of money you'd pay for something i don't really believe you'd want to be pointing at the device everytime u want to move on to another APP. Hooe this answers ur remark.
@Absolute Mad Chad i happen to like ICE, but the simpler a device the easier it is for everyone to use. I'm not the kind of individual who wants to be always pointing at a device in order for it to work, and i'm sure there r plenty of others who feel the same way. I hope that this answers ur remark.
Hello. I just bought tox 3 but theres a problem. My internet speed is 100mbs.. tox shows only 8 mbs. My old android box shows exactly the right speed 100mbs... Why do u think my tox 3 shows only 8?

Thanks...I ordered the a95x f3 from your website but they emailed me back saying it wasn't in stock so as good will gesture they are sending the box you are reviewing for the same price as the a95x I've googled dozens of reviews and other channels on RUclips saying it's a great little 📦.
It's the sd Netflix that would totally put me off, personally. I'm not a gamer so I'd be much better off just grabbing a firestick which doesn't have the sd limitation, and is likely cheaper too, especially with Black Friday and cyber Monday just around the corner.
I have this box. It is excellent. The blue led can be customised or turned off. I have it set to remote control button press. Check the power section in device preferences. Its called power indicator.

As this unit does have BLUETOOTH will u be able to paur another remote control instead of using the inferred remote.

Good box but trying to play Plex with the Kodi addon was a big failure.

If the box is not google certified. It's just junk. Sure side loading apps may work. But most will not work properly.

Or maybe the realme 4k tv stick, the Xiaomi 4k Tv stick or the Mecool KD2 (al three are Google and Netflix certified, which many boxes/tv sticks lack)
