I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and RUclipsr who's been to 61 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017.
I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This marked the start of my efforts to turn vlogging into a full-time job.
After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
I've travelled to North America just once as a RUclipsr, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.
In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.
I started my travels in 2023 by finally visiting Paris, taking the Eurostar from London. I then headed over to Qatar for a few days, before heading to Asia, with videos following from India, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Mongolia.

Let’s see if we can hit 2k likes on this video! ^^
Mongolia 🇲🇳 is going to be very cheap Jason
I'm watching this on Sept. 16, 2023, and you've already got 1,000 "likes." Eleven minutes into the video, I'd like to know how much that hotel room cost in American Dollars, and which European language you think is most useful useful in traveling there. (I'm guessing that the Russian influence may still be fairly strong here. Is that right?) Good Luck!
Congratulation for the 1K likes , thanks for covering Mongolia. I’m really thinking about visiting Mongolia .
there are great hotels for about 50-100 dollars a night. in terms of European language, not so much. Even English is fairly difficult there. Actually, Korean might be good because there's a lot of them there.@@519djw6
I was extremely surprised to see the city looking so modern. Also there were so many signs in English, possibly to make travel easier in the future. I particularly liked the delivery car for "Best Pizza." Aside from the wonderful looking meal you had at the hotel I would love to sample the best pizza.
this is not really modern part of mongolia, if you go near zaisan, you will see more modern neighborhood
That part he walking is not a modern part of the city at all if you watch closely you’ll see lots of soviet era buildings and we dont like it
I am deeply appreciative of your endeavor to present my country, Mongolia, in a favorable light, and I extend my gratitude for your efforts in this regard.
Thanks a lot.
I LOVE MONGOLIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful, I loved Ulan Bator!!
Have a unforgettable memories in your life in Mongolia ❤❤
Wow, nice to see Jason's travel again! Can't wait to see Mongolia again!
I love how much historical information you include in your videos. Makes for much more informed travelers. I watch another documentary on the Soviet Union and the residential communes were exactly the same. The apartment buildings make a square with the courtyard in the middle. And always a supermarket and pharmacy nearby. Nice to see how those plans were adopted throughout the USSR
Glad to hear it!
Mongolia was not part of the USSR
@@Crystal-cz9do Well done! 5 points for Gryffindor.
@@saast123 okkkay lol
As a Mongolian, I would say the historical information wasn't very accurate. Although I appreciate that he had read and tried to include the history, but it was like he read one article from Google.
Ok , Jason , I had to look up EXACTLY where Mongolia was on a map. 😊. Beautiful place! Looking forward to more and especially love when you engage with locals. You're the best at that!🎯💯🥇🏆
Jason this was an amazing tour of Mongolia. Thanks for taking us there. We look forward to watching more. Fascinating, and interesting how many parts of the world look similar to others. The neighborhood your first hotel stay was in looked similar to parts of Detroit, Michigan (USA) that I am familiar. Wonderful to see the monetary and the surrounding scenery. Awesome 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Jason for showing us this beautiful country, looking forward for more.
This is so interesting about Mongolia! Thanks for taking us along 😊
Love the content! Always cool to see where I hung out as a kid. Just to clarify about nationality... Mongolia and China are different nations. They have their own distinct identities and aren't the same in terms of nationality (also historically and culturally). Thank you again!
All my coworkers watch you in our break room at work - we are in Kansas City Kansas USA -
Cool to know!
Interesting and excellent introduction to Mongolia. Looking forward to seeing your complete travel. Good job, Jason!
Cheers!
@@JasonBillamTravelAre you going to make a video about How Expensive is Mongolia 🇲🇳 cause Mongolia is cheap
You never disappoint Jason. Very excited to see the rest of the series. 🙂
Thanks, I can’t wait to put the rest of them out.
Hi Jason! You're right, Padme Amidala's costume was based on a traditional Mongolian woman's look! I'm enjoying your Mongolia video so far. I'm from the Philippines, but I went there in 2015 to attend a youth form + some sightseeing. Missing Mongolia!
Good to know haha.
Always enjoy your haunts!
Hi Jason good to see you back and a big surprise being in Mongolia. A place where it seems so remote but with so much beauty and cultural value. Thank you again and I look forward to your next videos. Cheers
Jason is going to make a video about How expensive is Mongolia 🇲🇳
So excited for the videos on the other parts of Mongolia! You also took the Chinggis, Meditation temple, and Turtle rock tour! Nice!
Damn the view from the statue was amazing
Much better views coming in the series!
Oh my first ❤❤❤I love Mongolia vlogs❤❤
I love that your showing this interesting and amazing place. I’d love to go there. It’s a beautiful community and the people look 👀 lovely to me. I’m Indigenous Native American and I heard a cousin of mine visits annually to support the Christian Community. He’s part Indigenous from an Arizona Tribe and half my Tribe from N. California so he probably fits right in. 😂🙆🏻♀️❤️🔥🙌🏽 I love everything about the clips you showed. Make lots of Amazing Memories while you’re there. I appreciate you sharing all of the clips of the city and countryside. 🙋🏻♀️🇺🇸❤️🔥
A full-hearted and history-oriented presentation! Thank you so much, Jason!
You are very pleasant and positive traveller.
Appreciate the nice words!
Oh wow... amazing 😊
Another great video, hope your enjoying your stay.
A beautiful first episode of your great Mongolian odyssey! What a treat! And your comments were quite spot on. Kudos!!!
Looking forward to this series! Mongolia has been on my travel wishlist for a long time, now that it's opening up a bit more to tourism I will start planning!!!
Absolutely, exciting times.
You should definitely go! It was the most unique and amazing experience I had having a tour!
Thanks for your visit Jason! Hope you had a good time while exploring around my country❤
I always like (love) ❤ your videos, so interesting and enjoyable. You put much effort in your tour. Thanks and looking forward to the next adventure.😊

Great video. Thanks
That dumpling is the most popular food in Nepal and eastern India, known by the name Momo.
They are called manty in Central Asia and South Caucuses
Now that's a hotel room ! ❤
Yeah! XO
@@joemartino3764 there's enough room for 3 or 4 people 😊
The area of flower hotel is called Sansar District or literal Space District. It was a district built around the 70s by the Soviet, and you can find few famous soviet statues inc Marshall Jukov and Flying plane statue near the Mongolian Ministry of Defence.
Thank you so much, Jason. You're excellent!!! Saluti dall'Italia.
Thanks!
Enjoy your trip. I like Hana Japanese restaurant. It has really delicious foods.
Awesome video ❤❤😊😊
Thank you!
I am really surprised about your research and knowledge man. Good job!
Thanks!
Amazing and interesting visit of mangoliya thankyou so much to show far off country.
I know that it is difficult for the citizens of England and America to travel to Iran, but I hope you can travel to Iran in the future👍
I’d love to do it one day.
Cheers and stay safe.
Wow Mongolia l am Kazakhstan Mongolia-Kazakhstan Good
Ulan bator
Very nice and inexpensive hotel room.
Hello Jason. Excellent coverage. Just a quick question. What kind of camera(s) do you use in your travelling
Who from Mongolia if you from Mongolia like
👇
🇲🇳: Хэн Монголд амьдардаг вэ хэрэв та нар амьдардаг бол like

你们能不能别在每年4月的时候吹沙子过来?
I see Mongolia, I like. We are a nomadic nation that withstood war for thousands of years.
Very nice.
Ha you were there about the same time I was there, love UB
When you left your hotel and showed us the buildings - I immediately thought Soviet architecture. And then you made the same comment lol Great minds think alike. Looking forward to seeing and learning more from your video series on Mongolia.
❤
Its a big difference from the Mongolia I visited in the early 1990s. There were only a couple of buildings in the capital and the rest of Ulan Bator was tents. There were only 2 cars.
🇹🇷🇲🇳❤
Thanks for mongolia❤
6:23 its actually because the first 20 days of september have the diffrent plate days
I almost see my home your hotel area in video
I have just left Ulaanbaatar :)
Hello from Philippines
👍👍💯💯👏👏✔✔
Кушур -это типа чебурек с говядиной ?
We stopped at the exact same toilet on the way to Chinggis Khan Statue 😂
It appears that the Genghis Khan statue was build in his original size!
thank you for pointing out that all of ulaanbaatar don't look like this, please try to go to more modern neighborhood near zaisan
Монгол хэл!
Im in Sofia now and it feels more depressing these soviet buildings. Also i just saw that the population of Ulan Bataar is 1.45 million
16:47 genghis khan statue
Capital of Mongolia!!!
Kh = H so it’s pronounced huu-sh -uur hope you enjoyed your stay in UB.
I am frommongolia and there are 4 groups
1.poor to move out cuz bought a car
2.too poor to buy car cuz bought nice home
3.has nice car and nice house
4.got into alcohol and now homeless(not many homeless people are out there)
I'm surprised that there were no other people on top of the Chinggis Khan statue. How did you manage to ward them off? 😅
Mongolia!!! 1:52
They have that same thing with the tag number in Colombia in Bogotá is called picoplaca it was done for another reason though it was because of the domestic terrorism inside their country years on since the 1940s, but it’s interesting that you say they have it there in Mongolia. I have a desire to go and see this country. Very interesting you know in Colombia they have the same occupation of Russian satellite state there until we started putting bases from United States over there in Colombia.. you really did a good job. I should’ve done something like this when I left Colombia .
How are you Jason
3 million population, compared to my country about 100 million plus population
The greatest nation
สวัสดี
Flower hotel is really good value for money i guess 😂😂😂
The place you were first walking has a feeling of Russian community to it.
I m Mongolia
We’re out here still in Mongolia our neighbor country. Come visit Russia next 🫡☝🏻
outer Mongolia
11:18 A vast overestimate, actually, only 150m. Don't forget the actually inhabitable part of Russia would only be the size of a few Germanys (Germanies?)
This surprised me - for some reason I thought it was well over 200m!
How payments by credit cards are popular?
yes everyone has credit cards.
Why are there so many Toyota Prius driving around there?
Hey dear best wishes your youtube channel ✅
I am your big Fan i always follow your video on youtube😊
Are you looking professional RUclips thumbnail designer at low price??
It's hard to wrap your head around the once vast Empire of Mongolia to what is now a sparsely populated Nation. Compare to its populous neighbors, it's virtually extinct, even the language script is no longer in use.
We use our traditional script. It's been 20 years since all children learned their traditional script in elementary/middle school. Also, the government has set the goal of making it an official state letter in 2025.
