Oh really?! I didn’t know that, so hidden gem not required for perfect? Thank you, I’m currently up to this level on a perfect run, so saves some stress
Yeah..but the hidden gems are required for the Platinum trophy. I can imagine that if someone is going through the hell of getting all these relics that they're probably doing it as part of full completion, if even just for all the trophies. So whether hidden gems are needed for the perfect relics is really moot at that point.
@@jadedheartsz No he's not. Crash 4 is way over exaggerated at its difficulty. I got 106% in 60ish hours. Eh I found this relic surprisingly not too bad, only had to retry a few times, it helps if you don't try to get the hidden gem and the relic in one run(since the hidden gem isn't required for the relic) I found the Tawna levels harder to get relics on not because of dying but because of how many boxes are out of the way that you need to hit with the grappling hook, it's so easy to forget a box or two and have to restart.

Kinda crazy that the developers made this game only for the real Crash fans from the 90’s. As the difficulty is way way much harder than the original trilogy. You might pick this game up as a kids game and soon afterwards you will know that this game is dark souls with a cartoon style.
After doing the time trial first the insanely perfect relic was pretty easy did it first try. I do recommend getting the hidden gem in a separate run i wouldnt risk going for it if your trying to get the perfect relic
This level is where I drew the line. The whole point of video games, Crash Bandicoot in particular, is to be fun, and yet this entire game has done nothing but frustrate me while wasting my time. And because of that I won't be buying Spyro 4 when they inevitably ruin that game too. Which is a real shame, because they did such a fine job with the remasters. I guess Bob just isn't ready to make his own games.
On the switch version, Like a tile before you get the 96th box you just die with no explanation. Luckily it's a checkpoint box, but it does easily mess up a perfect run if you forget to jump over.
I can't get past the bit with the dimension change. I've given up won't go back on it. You made it look so easy but after 100 lives lost. They have made it far too difficult.
it's easier then it seems, the trick is to not try to do a massive jump towards the wall and then phase as that almost always leads to your death, what you have to do is wait until the platform gets close to the wall, phase then do a short jump and phase again so you land on the platform, remember Crash can jump in midair even if you fall off the platform, once you learn this trick you can get through that section easily.
Me: "I'm stressed, let me play some video games to relax" 2 hours, 127 deaths and 1 ridiculously hidden box near the TNT later... "I'm stressed, let me make some reports on Excel to relax"
The secret area with the gem, those wind gusts just keep pushing me down into the water and I can’t land on the ledge because there’s not enough time to jump before the nitro crates?
3:36, you're at 96 boxes. 3:38, you break 2 boxes. 4:47, you break 3, then another 3 shortly after for a total of 8. 5:07, you break 2, bringing it up to 10 total. Then you show your total at 108. Am I missing something? I've watched like 3 times trying to find the missing crates.
You make this look so easy I hadnt really started and died ugh, I been playing it for awhile just sucks don't remember crash being this hard back in the day
I find that Crash/Coco won't always make the jump with Akano at 1:54, I often fall to my death there. Hitting the ghost at 5:40 also seems to make me fall off the edge sometimes so I die there also, not a big fan of this level, its like Piston it Away for me.
7:03 Is there a hint on how to get those boxes on the running walls near the end, because I want to get the 100% boxes gem and I keep falling off when I spin them. That bit is so annoying.

Me: "I'm stressed, let me play some video games to relax"
2 hours, 127 deaths and 1 ridiculously hidden box near the TNT later...
The lion he spins off hits 2 nitro crates
"This level is long" can summarize 95% of the levels in the game
You make this look so easy I hadnt really started and died ugh, I been playing it for awhile just sucks don't remember crash being this hard back in the day
This is the hardest shit level I ever played I just die 30 time this going to be difficult getting 100% without getting killed
Yo that hidden gem part I would have never found so thank you! 😂❤️
This level is my top 5 worst...
"Just dont get hit by the nitro crates "
Are you kidding me? I was missing the box at 0:54
Thx dude ur vids are so helpful I would never get a single perfect relic if not for u
I just raged and smashed my playstation controller on the floor as hard as I possibly could at this level. Fuck this game. Fuck crash banficoot.
I've went through twice and still missing 1 gem. Have no idea where it is.
Pro tip: you don't need the hidden gem in the same run as the no deaths and all boxes.
Wait if I already have all 6 gems do I still need to break all the boxes to do the perfect relic
This level was stressful 😫
When I get to the last crate at the end of the level I'm at 153 crate and just after 186/187: '(
Same!! Wtf
7:10 the diagonal box above the TNT it fucked me hard
SAME
Crash Bandicoot has found its own answer to Dark Souls lol
I finally got the platinum of you maka I your the best glide
You don’t need to do it on regular stage, you can do nverted also
I wish you’d show how many boxes AFTER each check point..
Spin a bit early
@@paulusquagmire3637 How early?
Got the hidden gem on another run but honest to God I did the perfect relic first attempt...well at least first attempt after giving up on plat 2 years ago
those 2 hidden boxes at the end are absolute evil....
whoever designed this level needs to be fired, there's no rhyme or reason for a mid game level to be this hard
LOL this is easy there is a level called Dillo dallying it took me 6 hours to perfect, this level was a walk in a park compare to dillo dallying
I follow all your steps and i keep missing one box
Thank you, brother!
Im always missing 2 boxes 185 out of 187 I get the hidden boxes too any advice?
Those stupid hidden boxes. I played this level for an hour yesterday trying to find them and still missed the last two
If I already have the hidden gem do I need to go that route to get the perfect relic cause I’m only missing all the boxes and not dying
No, for perfect relics you only need to break all boxes and not die.
That one box I was missing thanks lol the one where you jump off the tnt and up high to get it and I thought I looked everywhere haha
