guys I figured out of super easy way to bypass the stupid section on 5:30. as soon as you land on the blue platform spam the X and Square buttons together. it's the only way I can see myself doing this
Lol I have everyone beat! Died 320 plus times. I couldn’t get to jump from the wall runs at the end whilst breaking the boxes. I almost threw my switch out the window. Then I realised it was best to just not touch the directional pad at all and I finally got it. Embarrassing I got in 4 tried my second go so I’m Much improved thank Christ. So don’t despair there’s always someone out there who’s worse !! 😂💀🙌🏻
Fr? i havent even died 100 times in any level except crate escape (im also a new player , i just finished the game and im trying to get all the gems in all levels)
Hi! It would be super helpful if you could show how many boxes you have at each checkpoint! I watched the whole walk through and played and I was 2 boxes off at the end 😢
If you watch the walkthrough for this level in the regular version, he has the box totals at most of the checkpoints, which should be the same for the n verted levels aside from the screen being flipped around and the hidden gem locations.
Now that i am playing the game , I actually feel like the developers do this kind of hidden gems just for the players to watch these kind of videos on yt ti gain tons of views cause if u think of it , no one would try to kill themselves to find a hidden gem
At the 5:30 part, I spin the boxes, plummet to my death, respawn, spin the boxes, plummet to my death, respawn, spin the boxes, plummet to my death, respawn, spin the boxes, plummet to my death, respawn, spin the boxes, plummet to my death, respawn, spin the boxes, plummet to my death, respawn, spin the boxes, plummet to my death, respawn, spin the boxes, plummet to my death, respawn... I died NINE TIMES before I finally got through that section without skipping the phasable boxes...
I took a bunch of deaths to boxes in the wall walking sections throughout the game. The camera angle shift doesn't work as well as I think they meant for it to. Hard to tell when you're too close to a box that it's going to break your momentum.
I like to use your guides, but you need to be checking box count every checkpoint. That’s how I and many others go though levels. I like how you break down sections, you do a great job. But honestly on a level like this to constantly not box check is ridiculous. Your guides have helped me a lot but on this level it’s simply too long with too many hidden boxes without checkpoint counts. I will continue to use your guides, but for this level with these hidden boxes I’m looking to make sure at each point I haven’t missed any and I’m having issues. Nothing worse then getting to the end and missing a box or two, as I’m sure you can understand as much as anybody.
This is a common point of feedback I've gotten on many of these guides. If there's ever another Crash game, or I cover something similar, I'll absolutely be doing it. I would play through all these levels so many times, so I ended up having all the box locations memorized, and it'd just be a matter of getting through it without dying. This caused me to not even think about checking my own box count, which isn't helpful for anyone. I appreciate your feedback and support and will do better in the future!
I'm playing on Classic Mode, so the fruit carries over between stages. But, that starting fruit does NOT count towards the gem meter. Make sure you're bouncing on bounce boxes and not spinning them away, so you get all the fruit possible.
Okay, I seriously give up - what’s the secret to wall running while spinning crates? I’ve only been able to get the crates by jumping on them and I have about a 50/50 success rate haha

The box count stops right before the hidden gem. Lot more level to go if you need a continual count as you move through the rest of the level.

I just phased them in as I was running through them. They broke automatically, every time I spun, I died.
You need to spin a bit earlier and don't hold jump button. You automatically run across the wall.
i love how i follow tutorials and i still always miss 1-3 boxes. everytime...

I always check under falling platforms but for some reason I didn't check under the bridge, it was an obvious location

Just press square when you're a few pixels away. It's a little confusing to learn, for sure, but it's really as simple as that.

You can actually only earn the N.Sanely Perfect Relic once on each level, so either you get it on normal or on the N.Verted mode. :)
