I'm a huge Newcastle fan and was there last night , we were brilliant and you were absolutely dire . Rashford plays as if football owes him a living , does he ever smile ? I've never seen anyone so unhappy doing a job that is a dream for us hard working supporters. He epitomises the overpaid privileged look at me I'm great aren't I . As a Newcastle fan I do feel sorry for the Man Utd fans who went all that way in those conditions to see their team play like that. Yes we were brilliant but I'm taking it with a pinch of salt because upon reflection your players made it very easy for us. They gave Trippier & Livramento the freedom of St James' and Rashford never tracked back and many times was just bloody jogging! You could lose 1-0 and still be proud of the team in a battling performance, but you lost 1-0 and your players looked like they couldn't be arsed, and its not acceptable for the fans who braved the whether and travelled all that way. The players should have given way more for them

Man Utd have 11 players earning more money a week than Newcastle’s highest paid player (Bruno - who has just signed a new contract on £160K a week). Donny Van Der Beek who is a million miles away from the first 11 is paid the same as Newcastle’s 2nd highest earner (Isaak on £120K a week). Rashford who’s on £300K a week didn’t put in his shift despite him being one of a few players on that pitch who never played in Europe midweek and should be fresh. Outplayed, out muscled, out worked. Pathetic.

I've been saying it for ages now that Rashford has a massive attitude problem. He got away with it for so long because he had 2 good seasons, but he's just an improved version of Martial and that's not saying much. These players lack the elite mentality needed to play for united. The Newcastle left back got passed Rashford and he just stopped running. Didn't bother to run back and help AWB out. Who tf does he think he is? He's not good enough. Mctominay is a squad player at best. Martial...how he's lasted 8 years at United is a miracle for him

As a Chelsea fan who feels completely disassociated from football given how terrible we've been for the last couple of years, I can relate to how Andy is feeling. Its getting to the point where I dont even like watching Chelsea play because it always ruins my weekend.

Being a United fan that's not from Manchester, and someone who has never been to Old Trafford and never been to an away game. It disconnected me from the United fans from Manchester, who live in Manchester, who go to the games home and away. Who's working class grandfathers and fathers built Old Trafford and the team we know today. To see Andy like this, really brings home the actual effect the state of the team at the moment is having on them. Hard work is a talent, a talent the team isin't currently showing.

These type of performances happen far too frequently. The lack of effort from some players is shocking. Newcastle won that game through effort, their players wanted it more. United STILL have certain players with a yellow streak in them. Time and time again this issue happens

To be fair Maguire has been outstanding lately. I can't fault him lately. He's given his heart and determination to get back into this team. Ultimately players like rashford and mctominay will get ten hag sacked. They must be doing something in training that we don't see. Martial is at the club too long. Can't get rid of Ten Hag. Andy's right. Some players are too comfortable and have been for too long. Give them a range of KPIs to hit & if they've not hit their targets by the end of the season, show them the door. Scholesy had some valid points about Bruno too, post game. He's all over the place. The players need to be responsible for their positions & not have their confidence undermined and Bruno needs to be more disciplined. Stick to his role and do it well without risky passes. Don't keep giving the ref lip once a decision has been made, refocus.
Andy's comment that "you can't replace shite" was a bit clouded by rage but I can see where he's coming from. We don't have the quality to rotate the shite out of the starting eleven. We can't just buy it in either. Ultimately, we may just have to accept that we need a proper rebuild incorporating a dismantling of the toxic wage structures & inadequate performance expectations which have led to players getting comfortable & lazy. Massive investment into making the United Academy the BEST in the world & producing a steady stream of the BEST youngsters in the game is what is needed. Start them on modest wages & offer them massive rewards for each trophy they win, not massive wages every week for returning shite.
Ten Hag should be given time. The rebuild is going to be a long road. We've been at it for a while but we haven't been doing it properly & the "United Tax" hampers us. We have to be prepared to give the coach and a crop of youngsters time...that might mean being a mid table team for a season or two; the massive restructure that's needed can't happen overnight.

He's absolutely right, these players get awya with it season after season while the managers suffer. I do agree his players he signed aren't resonating but the core of his style of play i.e. Lissandro is injured and he may be the most damning of the lot. Mount hasn't found a place in this team and is still probably suffering from the effects of what chelsea went through last season, Antony is in a much more unforgiving league so is struggling with how to play compared to Ajax and Malacia is injured most of the time. The original players he wanted he couldnt get. Yes ok, you can say anyhting to counter this but the way he's been smashed at this club with multiple situation after situation after situation, it would be tough for any manager to get these players playing how he wants. Maguire was great today but he was forced to keep him because we didn't have a good backups for his defence should they get injured and now we're weirdly lucky to have maguire right now who's arguably our best player. We HAVE to look at these deadweight players now, Martial i've been saying for years has been a waste of time, he courses around at 1mph every game acting like hes berbatov with assists and goals credit in the bank. Rashford is really starting to get on my nerves now, he needs a break or something, whatever it is he needs to step away and get himself sorted out. I can't stand this manager pointing at when some of these players still played when Jose was around and got him fired also. Time for a proper clear out.

The fact that Martial still plays after all these years for United,that Rashford is untouchable,that we got rid of De Gea succumbing to all these United haters,and bought a worst goalkeeper just to be ''in fashion'' with the ball playing craziness sums up in a few words our club in the last few years.The drssing room has become a monster that just eats alive anybody who tries to alter things.(and by the way,Rashford last night reminded me of Pogba a few years ago in a game against Southampton away,he was just walking in the pitch,not bothered at all).
Sad thing is we know Rashford will never be sold anytime soon, he's the ultimate poster boy of the club, no matter how bad he plays he'll start every game.
This is now the 4th manager the likes of Rashford, Shaw, Martial, Mctominay have been under and we see the same pattern from them over and over.

I can't understand how any Utd fans are shocked by last night's performance. Its obvious the players have downed tools to get the manager sacked. You've scraped past teams you should have beaten lately but anyone who commits fully against Utd the team doesnt want to know. UTD ARE IN A MESS AND UTS DOWN TO THE PLAYERS NOT ETH OR THE OWNERS.
Rashford is playing for away, as some other players who are not in the team at the moment are doing, even though they are currently not in the team. Most of the players who did play, didn't seem bothered, scandalous. Equally, we have no real options off the bench, to replace players who cannot be arsed. The danger here is the manager loses his job, due to players who have form for downing tools. Admittedly, ETH signings have been patchy at best. Newcastle were going through midfield at will, I couldnt believe the manager took Mainoo off instead of McT. We needed two in the midfield, not one.

Plan on selling Rashford and don't let him even warm the bench. Play who wants to play for United and who shows energy and commitment on pitch - Pellistri isn't a bad choice. For us fans, it's disgraceful to see the game where players don't put any hard work. And then manager is left to clean the dirty laundry week in week out!

We lack in every department, Quality... It's like we are too scared to playing in a strikers/forwards feet we always go around the outside and hope for a bit of magic or a cross that we some how latch onto. You never really see us probing like little 1 touch passes, Give and goes in the centre of the field. Instead to me anyway it seems like we try and get the ball to Bruno and he will try and find that magical pass just not a logical way to go about things. Lastly, AWB as much as he is good at defending he is killing us with the lack of football quality he has when he has the ball at his feet and some of the runs he makes just hampers the left side. Scotty should of just been a striker like seriously this guy is not a CM, Just hiding behind players. He is meant to get the ball off the defenders and if he can turn with it.
Work rate is another thing we lack and this leads to aggression. Like everyone says you can lose but there are ways you lose. Most of the players are not putting a shift and just simply not running. Then the ones who are putting a shift in just look like headless chickens because their press isn't being backed up by team mates. Tonight was weak and spinless. I could say a lot more about this.
Keeping in mind out injuries our line up should be for the next game.

The problem at the club is besides Bruno, Martinez, and aging Casemiro and Varane, we do not have elite players but a squad full of average players who wouldn’t make it into the City, Liverpool, Arsenal, even Newcastle lineups. About Two years ago Newcastle were battling to survive relegation. Look at where they are now and where United are now. Just too bad! This team doesn't look like they have the ability to beat top teams including the likes of Brighton, Aston Villa etc. Ragnick was absolutely right about the need for an open heart surgery! Objective UTD fans have known for a while that these players have never been good enough to win trophies. You are, as always spot on! Rashford has withdrawn his labour and either wants out of the club or Ten Hag sacked and I think it's support for Sancho. It's the modern footballer unfortunately. We have seen this so many times in recent years where players have sulked and withdrew their labour. The only thing that they really need to think about is that these actions are a double edged sword with consequences, you effect your own career and value. Play well and your value goes up, you are continually chosen for international duty, you move on for big fees which means high wages and you have a fabulous career. When that ends you become a pundit or employed by the club and really enjoy life. As we have already seen with people in the past, be an Dick and be petulant and sulky and put no effort in, and you end up in the championship or even lower and become another 'what could have been'.
