I disagree about the city charges not being bad cheating, I think it's horrendous cheating. They've broken rules that are going to make the biggest difference, financial rules. It gives you a huge advantage. They might well get away with it, but that's the way the world is. Which is why I agree with the point 'who cares about city winning it again' no-one because we can't take them seriously, we expect them to win now, the cheating as put them in a position that it's now hard for them to lose. They should be kicked out of the league and told to start again.

i tried looking into the charges but the complexity and detail is largely caused by city's legal defence tactics, appealing every thing no matter how slight, whether its hearing dates, then putting things in place to change this and that, every trick in the book and changing so many things and appealing then re-appealing, just slowing it down, means they must be up to some serious stuff because otherwise theyd want it settled quicker. In football terms their legal council 'is wasting time'.

One thing on Bruno- yes yes yes he is obviously our best most creative midfielder but FOR FUCK SAKES CAN WE HAVE SOMEONE ELSE TAKE CORNER KICKS. He is surprisingly TERRIBLE at corner kicks. He puts them in areas where there are literally no red shirts or it’s lofted too high. Like I know it seems small but at a professional level that ball should be whipped in with pace to dangerous areas

@Ste, City have cheated though ....having the ability to have a squad so deep with quality (that therefore goes onto the pitch) has only be possible by them faking their books and sponsorships, etc. It's cheating.
So that Jack Grealish you bring on late to change a game, instead could have been a youth player or a £30m player to bring on instead, or kids from the youth team.
It artificially inflates the squad to have top quality in every position. If Liverpool or United or Spurs for example did this, they could have had yet more top players to bring on themselves, instead of young kids or whatever.
As much as I hate to admit it, Liverpool would prob have won 2 more leagues as 1 point is easily surmountable if they could have brought on top quality replacements for the last 20 instead of lesser players or running your Salah's and Firminho's into the ground playing all 90+mins every week.
So, it IS cheating and should be seen as seriously as any other form of cheating.

    Man Utd 0-3 Bournemouth
    - Going out in the group stage of the UCL
    - 8th placed PL finish
    - The signing and subsequent performances of Antony and the way that impacted his relationship with Sancho.
    - Signing of Mount
    - Add into this the fact that we have to distinct game plan, he says he wants to be the best at “transitions” that’s exactly what Ole used to do.
IMO He doesn’t deserve to be given another season, if this was Ole, Jose or Louis Van Gaal they would have been hounded out the door right now, and Jose and LVG were both elite European cup winning managers, who have managed some of the biggest players in football. ETH doesn’t have 5% of their credentials.
I think he’s a good coach, and with time it may come good and I accept injuries played a big part this season, but his job should be under review by the ownership at the very least they should be looking at other candidates, if they don’t find anyone they think can do better, then keep him, but this season is unacceptable from both players and management.

He doesn’t deserve to keep his job. Too add on to the list disrespected a club legend (ronaldo) and a long servant of the club (de gea). This manager doesn’t even have a good cv. He has won nothing in Europe and has won less Dutch plates than 'worst manager of all time' Frank de boer.

    • @williezhang1250
      @williezhang1250 13 дней назад +4

Not to mention people seem to forget LVG and Jose also had to deal with horrific injuries crises as well and we were nowhere near this shite.
I swear our fans have the shortest memories or simply forgot those times because LVG and Jose were good enough managers to not capitulate despite so many injuries. ETH on the other hand is just not as good tactically or in terms of man management.
Ffs Jose had to bring back Phil Jones and convert Young into a leftback (who also got injured eventually) while rotating a teenage McSauce and Tuanzebe at the DM and still managed to win 3 trophies. There was a period where LVG was relying on Patty Mcnair at the back due to injuries and was basically playing with the U-21 squad and still finished top 4.
Just so SICK and TIRED of the “injuries” excuse. Even with these injuries it shouldn’t be THIS bad. Especially considering ETH was backed a lot more and able to buy players he actually wanted contrary to other managers who had to just kind of deal with the random players the board decided to sign for them AND a lot of injuries.

I'm still mystified how these guy's still want or exspect Ten Hag to still be at United after the evidence of two seasons, last season wasn't the sucess were keep being told. The number of times were we seeing a moment from a player to win games. Rashford (17 league gols) that got us out of trouble on a lot of occasion's. Who else was a consistant scorer, Fernandez was next with 8. We might have got silverware but a lot of problems were forgotten. The squad has been asked to play 4231 by Ten Hag as Ajax did, but the players are not suited to this formatiom. Why hasn't he tried other formations. Look at Conte at Chelsea playing 4231 in Sept 2016, they got beaten 3-0 by Arsenal & he realised he said, he needed to change the formation & he had the player's to do it. The twitch to 343 won them the league!
Why hasn't Ten Hag at least tried to do something different? Can't understand the logic of him this season!

Who does Bruno create chances for if not the striker? Because he doesn't create chances for the striker. His "chances" must be all speculative ones from 30 yards in front of defences because we as a team don't have many chances or goals. There is something odd about the stats in this regard because we are an amazingly uncreative team with Bruno at the heart of our "uncreativity".

    • @Ebamber3
      @Ebamber3 14 дней назад

he creates chances for all our forwards they just do nothing with them. Originally the intention was clearly for Hojlund to play a supporting role in the front 3 (around the same as what Kane does), creating spaces for the wingers and midfielders to get into the box and take shots, but our wingers have generally had 0 end product aside from the odd moment of brilliance all season; likewise Hojlund's positioning has been hit or miss when it came to interplay with the wingers (because he's had a tendency all season to be more interested in jostling with centre backs than getting on the end of one of Bruno's passes) often making it so that the ball would go to a winger in a worse position or to McTominay making a late run. The forwards are all still very young and they'll learn and improve, but it's really down to our attacking coaches tbh and I'd actually argue it's just as important we get in new ones as it is we sign reinforcements this summer

The Bruno chances created is a false stat. We have wingers who shoot from anywhere. If Bruno passes to garnacho and he shoots from 30 yards and the ball rolls into the keepers hands that counts as a chance created. Look at his big chances created. Bruno is at 21, which is still second for the league and very good but it’s not 113. We rely too heavily on Bruno being our only outlet.

I said it at the end of last season, everyone kept acting like all you need is a striker and we're a top team, but they fail to register that the strikers we have had are not being used as goalscorers, they are a positional and creative asset for the team. The only goalscorer we've had in years was Ronaldo and he had to fight for service and make his own goals to get the below par output he managed.
Kane would have been perfect, a dual role striker who is elite at both. Hojlund was brought in and is a completely different type of player. So our goal output for the season relied on him to learn how to Weghorst, or Rashford/Antony/Garnacho learning how to Sancho. It clearly didn't work, and at this moment still looks like it's not even close to coming good.
So we rip up the team to accommodate Hojlund, or we go get a striker who fits the players we have.

Seeing the youth products breaking into the team, the comeback wins against Villa, Forest, and Brentford, The quarter final epic with Liverpool, Garnachos bicycle kick. Contrary to popular opinion, I think we have a good core to build from, and without the absurd amounts of injuries we sustained, we would have easily finished in a similar position to last season. It's not all about winning trophies and finishing high up the table. Sure, that's the destination we want to get to but the journey is equally important.

Way back in October, everyone was writing Onana off. Saying we shouldn't have let De Gea go; saying the replacement was a flop; saying Onana wasn't Man Utd standard. I stuck by him since the very beginning because I knew it'd just take time for him to settle in and he'd come good, but people mocked me for it because the reactionaries in our fanbase know better don't they.
Andre Onana deserves an apology from each and every one of you. Took him some time to settle in, but we'd have been relegated this season if it weren't for him. Raya's gonna get all the plaudits this season; but Onana's been the best goalkeeper in the league overall conceding the 4th least goals in the league despite our team conceding the 2nd most chances in the league. Keeping us in games despite having to play behind a back line where we had to loan in a left back another team didn't want just to make up the numbers, had to give a contract to a 36 year old centre back just to make up the numbers, had to play midfielders in full back positions half the time, had a player we had on the transfer list last number play the most games at centre back for us this season, had to play a CDM at centre back for the final stretch when he was clearly uncomfortable there, had to rotate right backs for the left back position after one of them had just come back from a 3 month long injury, at a point had to play a right winger at left back, all this while the CDM our chairman decided to sign last season clearly came back from pre season a shell of his former self, while the marquee player we'd signed in midfield was out for a grand total of 27 games and his understudy (who actually turned out better than him) was out for 4 months.
Despite the entire team being a patchwork for the entire season, more so than any other team in the league by a large margin, our goalkeeper was one of 3 senior players in the entire team who could say they actually did a respectable job.

I remember going to Old Trafford in the late 90s, expecting us to score at least 4 goals. I watched us bang in 17 goals in a row of 3 home matches (Barnsley, Sheff Weds and Blackburn) in the 97/98 season.

The good news is when we have Martinez back, MU attempted to fight for possession. The bad news is we lost in that battle. 2nd half we back to ping pong game and win which doesn't matter much. So to anyone ask why MU is so bad, the answer is our players sucks.
Secondly, I'm not convinced with Amrabat at all, when we try to retain possession he looks so daft, he is like Harry Maguire in midfield, their skills is so limited that even though they both try to hide it, it is inevitable that they will get exposed at times. People praised him when we just played counter attack with no structure, but I think his defense is worse than Fred, he is less mobile, but people blamed Fred for all MU problems but complement Amrabat for some dumb tackles? We don't want to be in that situation and if we want to be in possession game we need world-class player in that position, we need world class player at left back, and very good player backup for Martinez, don't settle for any less.

If Ineos want to keep Ten Haag surely he will need the 1 year left on his deal changing to 3 years plus a large summer budget for transfers (he blew 380 million in his first year).
8th finish, a negative goal difference etc - Ten Haag needs to go!
Ineos, as they have already done with some other top posts at the club, should poach a successful manager from another club.
Unai Emery (PL manager of the season I think) is my first choice.
If not Emery then Ange Postecoglou.
