We just got back from a cruise to Bimini ..we had a taxi with a private tour..even ate lunch with his family..3 of us for $100

Thank you for your review. A few questions: Are there food vendors near the free beach? Also is there a charge to use the chairs and umbrella? Do you recommend paying in US or Bahamian currency?
When we were there, there was a charge for the chairs and umbrellas. We used US currency there. We went to radio Beach and there were plenty of food and drink places. Hey y'all 👋 thanks for watching 👀. The island is so small that the tram gives you a free tour of half of it in less than an hour 😀.
This tram ride is your transportation to not only the Beach Club (which gives you 2 pools, one for adults & one for family and access to the beach) and takes you to the adjacent public beach and takes you to the casino. But you can take a taxi outside of the resort to enjoy the rest of the island and the public beaches. Make sure to give the locals business and stop at one of the many "conch stands" or beach shacks and the "straw market".

Do you remember how much they charged for the water bottles and carrier?
Hey Robin, I don't remember for sure. I think the 1 liter bottle and carrier was around 20.00, but I'm sure the cost has gone up. I can't find a price anywhere, sorry I couldn't help more.

Island looks very laid back and beautiful. You gave great safety tips! THANK YOU!!!! Just a side note: I just don’t understand why islands don’t have transportation from the ship to the port when the piers are so long. At a minimum, they should have some benches for people to sit and rest.

@@SeaLegJourneys My first time was last Dec on Carnival Conquest. I just booked the ferry for next week the reason I know. Unbelievably the taxes are $70 of the $200🤦🏾♀️. I’m so anxious to go I paid it lol.
@@cocomill9468 the golf carts can be expensive, if you are looking for an inexpensive day, we suggest you get a taxi over to Radio Beach, it is less expensive over there as apposed to the more touristy side of the island.
